Exactly right, however based on subliminal injection into mass media over the past 10-15 years (e.g. news, tv shows, tv commercials, magazines, etc.), many people are ignorant of that number and have been 'trained' to believe it is much, much higher. I have made a study of this very trend over the past decade and have tested out my theory on several friends of mine who I know aren't information sponges like I am. One friend in particular, 59 y.o., when I asked him what he thought the black population of the U.S. was he said "about 50%". He was shocked when I told him it was actually about 12.5%. I asked him why he thought it was 50% and he said because of television, news and commercials.

Thanks. And I will also thank you for socialism if Obama wins. You will be remembered as one of those who left a rifle lying on the ground and stood there with your arms crossed when the fight came. The enemy will still shoot you too. I also think Romney stinks, but we play the cards that we are dealt. Termites gain ground one small bite at a time. That's all we can do at this point in time. Think of it this way - the enemy of my enemy is my friend. Hopefully as short-term as possible for that, but better than the alternative of my enemy being the victor. Therein lies the problem.

In a certain town a high-stakes poker game was formed. Ten people were able to come up with the high entry fee. There were many others who were really good at poker who couldn't come up with the fee, even though many, many of the towns citizens would have liked for them to be in the game. The cards were dealt, hands were played, then it was down to two players. Neither were the player that most people would have liked. The final hand was dealt, the bets were made, all-in. If Player-A wins, three-fourths of the citizens would be executed and their homes and belongings would go to the remaining citizens. No one can say that they don't care who wins or that they have no interest in the outcome of the game. Wishing and hoping that Player-C or D or E were still in the game is not going to change the outcome of the game at this point. It's down to Player-A and Player-B. The final outcome, depending on who wins, is clearly known. Live or die. It's the same as the decision one needs to make when a hand-grenade lands ten feet away. You can stand there and do nothing and die, or dive for cover and live to fight another day. Voting for Ross Perot (anyone other than Obama or Romney) is a vote-splitter and gives the vote to Obama by default. Voting for Obama gives the vote to Obama. Voting for Romney gives us the possible chance to survive the blast and fight another day. Losing to Obama for ANY reason most likely means - GAME OVER. No amount of convictions can recover from that. Enjoy slavery, enjoy rationing, enjoy curfews, enjoy lack, enjoy shortages, enjoy being told what to do and when to do it, enjoy complete loss of freedom. Enjoy socialism.
