The media has been gleefully reporting that Chick-fil-A caved in to pressure from left-wing politicians and homosexual rights groups and will no longer make donations to "anti-gay" groups like Focus on the Family and the National Organization for Marriage. This is a perfect example of how the left distorts the news. Chick-fil-A has never donated to the National Organization for Marriage. It has supported pro-marriage efforts through its own foundation. I smelled a rat when I read that story between the lines (as you have to do when reading this garbage), then a few hours later my suspicions were confirmed. No one from Chick-Fil-A said that they were stopping these contributions, only the media said that they were. A made up story. This thread if full of people who believe in heavily skewed oversampled liberal polls. This is the ONLY way that they can help 0bama at this point, by lying and attempting to depress the opposition. They over-sample Dems by 9-13%, or even more. Not to mention that these "polls" are taken of 'Registered Voters' as opposed to 'Likely Voters' which is much more accurate. Same numbers during Carter/Reagan, up until a week before election. Then the "polls" started reflecting the true numbers and we all know how the election turned out. Similar circumstances now. I predict a win by Romney by 7-10%, possibly more. If any of you were at Chick-Fil-A several weeks ago, THAT is what the election will look like! Mark my words. True Americans will not take this lying down. Stop with all of the doom-and-gloom despair, you sound like the French, and the day of the battle hasn't even arrived yet.

ooooooh...you caught one thing in error... which I immediately agreed was posted in error upon further investigation... All others have been rock solid, including several that you and others tried to call as foul balls, but which I backed up with further articles and documentation. Sorry one out of a hundred didn't make it. I spend 8-10 hours a day on the internet, on political blogs, reading numerous newspapers from around the country and world. I consider myself to be up on the latest critical topics and weed out 99% of the crap before I present what I consider to be of interest to like-minded people. I am also amused by the absurd and extremely hypocritical in politics, which I occasionally post to demonstrate the absurdity of politics. I believe that there is an 'ignore' option on TGO, which I do not use because I find some folks on here extremely amusing, no matter how much thy annoy me. However, I suggest that if my posts are not of your taste, please, by all means 'ignore' me.

It's amazing what passes for 'journalism' these days. A LOT of pertinent information was left out of the article that i linked. Shame on so-called journalists. I should have researched that one better. My bad. The other story links are good though.
