Here we go..Zimmerman's at it again!
mcurrier replied to DaveS's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I think George Zimmerman may well be a racist and predatory villain, and I didn’t hear the edited version. Either this clown doesn’t listen to his attorneys, or he has the dumbest attorney’s in history.
Wow! -

"Fast and Furious" Players Fired - But Not Holder
mcurrier replied to waynesan's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I'll wager anyone being "fired" gets a job in another branch. Other than a whistleblower.
Lateral promotion? Hmmmm...I like it! What will corrupt people think of next? What a wonder to live in the Space-Age! Of course, Brian Terry got a permanent horizontal promotion, but why should Holder or his minions worry about that. Their asses are covered (up). -
It didn't rise from Oct. to Nov., it never went down. That 7.4% is a bogus number. For the past 48 months it has been steady, well... steadily rising. But then! October. The month before the election, it miraculously goes down (just to help someone who's name begins with 0), then it goes back up??? GIVE ME A BREAK!!!

Awwwwwwww MAN! I was just down there a few days ago. Wish I would have know about this.

Trace Adkins explains Confederate flag earpiece
mcurrier replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Ha, I was just making a joke. Regardless what the original denotations are for the swasticker, the current connotations will forever trump that. Kinda like rainbows. Rainbows might be awesome to put on my truck, but everyone would think I'm a homo. Gays own rainbows now. Nazis will forever own swastickers.
True. It was ok to be "gay" back around the turn of the century. That's the 20th Century. 100 years ago. Now it's something else. Even the multi-colored Apple logo has been hijacked. -
Trace Adkins explains Confederate flag earpiece
mcurrier replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
Not to go too far off topic but, unless I am mistaken, when Hitler/the Nazis adopted the Swastika they screwed up and got it backward - so that the Nazi flag actually had a reversed Swastika. Kind of fitting in that the Swastika meant 'life' and, I believe, was sometimes used as a mystical symbol of protection so that a 'reversed' one would technically mean death, destruction and, I guess, evil.
True. -
Could be just another trial balloon. They will keep it up enough for people to get used to the idea. He will try to do it. If you think they won't, good luck. Incrementalism seems to work for them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
That's how termites work. Slow, but deliberate. At first you don't notice. Then one day, you are saying, "WTF?"

Renew and Duplicate Permit
mcurrier replied to tarheelbball's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
I received my permit and the duplicate at the exact same time. If the dup invalidates the original, I don't think they would have sent them together. Besides, they both have the exact same #'s and exp. dates on them. -
Am I the only gentile on earth that doesn't like bacon?
Yes, see a doctor. He may prescribe a dose of pork, then transition you to ham, then eventually bacon. As I understand it, bacon, like Twinkies, is one of the food groups.
I don't know who fibbies or F-Troop are. I'm clueless as usual. I'm just generally in favor of eliminating anything we can in government. Nothing in government works well. They are the only organization I know of that is bad at everything they do.
That would be eff-bee-eye...
+ 1,000,000 This is exactly what I have said in several of the threads regarding the election since November. If everyone who is sore at the outcome of this election had done more than just vote maybe the outcome would have been different. It doesn't cost any money to help. Anyone can volunteer or talk to anyone who will listen. Even putting a sign in the yard could have made a difference. If people want to change the system they have to do it from within. And if you secede you are no longer within. Dolomite
If you think all of this is about people being "sore", it's not, not by far. People have witnessed four years of this country moving in a socialist direction and extreme (borderline?) tyrrany. Socialism literally bought itself at least four more years and we are now on the express train. The permanent tipping point has always been said to be 51%. We are there. THAT is what people are concerned about. Not about being "sore" losers. If 0bungo had lost, you can't even imagine what sore losers would have looked like. That is the only saving grace to 0bungo "winning", the losing side this time is the peaceful, mature, law-abiding adult side.
Those three states make up about 20% of the manufacturing in this country. Be careful about splitting from them. Those who cannot remember the past are destine to repeat it.
As I recall, we made tanks, planes and bombs right here in TN during WWII. I believe we still make cars here. A lot of cars. I think we make more cars these days than Detroit-istan now makes.
My wife and I have been to Stones River a couple times when we have visited the Nashville area. We have enjoyed it every time. We had no issues with the rules or the staff. Quite simply I think a lot of y'all in middle TN are spoiled and unappreciative of what y'all have. Come out Memphis way and see what it is like to not have anywhere to shoot rifles or outdoors at all unless you have land or join a very pricey private cAgreed!lub. I would love it If we had a range like Stones River in the Memphis area.
I said "Agreed!". For some reason it did not display the first time.
