Didn't you guys ever see Invasion of The Body Snatchers? Something happens to people when they go to Washington. I swear, the've got a warehouse of conservatives hidden somewhere in D.C. They may arrive that way, but... and btw, Gingrich came out yesterday and said that the GOP now needs to embrace so-called 'gay marriage'. I already knew I was over him 20+ years ago, this just clinches it. Seems like he has 'evolved' like 0-dipstick did. http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/dec/20/inside-politics-gingrich-evolves-on-gay-marriage/

When is it going to be OK to sale mags, ammo, and ARs for the going rate?

Yup. Two weeks ago we were all "tinfoil"... how about now? (rhetorical question, for those tempted to answer) -
What is 'Gun Violence'? Is that like axe violence, or fist violence? Blunt object violence? How about we focus on the 'violence' part. I don't hear anyone crying about electric toaster in the bathtub violence. The toaster is just an instrument. Toasters don't jump into the bathtub by themselves, people throw them there. So perhaps we should focus on the mental issues of the person who threw the toaster in the tub while their spouse was in the tub, not focus on the toaster. You think?

They must not have cut too much off of you. Those others kill because of feelings of inadequacy. ;) However, seriously, they ARE trying to outlaw circumcision in Germany for the past few months.

Americans like iPhones don't they? Why does anyone need an iPhone? Why isn't the two-piece brick cellular telephone from the 1980's still good enough for everyone? It's called progress. Technology. Evolution. Americans like the latest, the greatest, the best, the most functional. Why would we be happy with a sub-par, antiquated relic? Are we that way with any other thing that we own? Our vehicles? Our televisions? Our computers? Sure, there is always a small group of enthusiasts who like the older stuff for novelty or collecting purposes, but Americans tend to prefer the most advanced technology that has had all of the bugs worked out of it, and which works at its most optimal. Same goes for our firearms.

Democrat propagandists posing as journalists slam NRA throughout press conference http://dailycaller.com/2012/12/21/journalists-slam-nra-throughout-press-conference/ (I commandeered the title from the first commenter) Some of the 'journalist's' tweets are disgustingly pathetic.

Many of us have attempted to point that out, but we're labeled to be "tin foil"... Seriously, grocery stores have 3-4 days of inventory under normal circumstances...

Oh goody! Another Christmas surprise that we don't get to know what's in it until it passes. Let's all bend over!
Obama made the statement today that passing gun control legislation will be difficult. Looks like he's already giving himself an out when it gets shot down in the House. Then he can blame it on the Republicans like he always does.
More like setting up for an end run.

This email just dinged in a minute ago from CTD - Cheaper Than Dirt! will Resume Online Firearm Sales Pending Policy Changes Cheaper Than Dirt! recently announced that it was temporarily suspending online sales of firearms pending a review of its order processing and procedures. Well-known for its ability to process and ship orders within 24 hours, online sales have skyrocketed to a point where it may take up to 72 hours for firearms and other items to ship. "In light of recent events, we believe it is prudent to review our policies and procedures to ensure we can continue to provide the products and firearms our customers demand," said Chief Operations Officer Roberta Wilson. "We will resume online sales once we update our process and continue as we have always done by shipping firearms only to FFL dealers." Ms. Wilson closed with, "As a long-time supporter of the Second Amendment, we will continue to serve the needs of the firearms community while ensuring our unsurpassed level of quality and customer service."

Firearms confiscation. How would it go down?

If the world comes to an end, I will not be here. ;) -
I hate it when my Spidey sense goes off and a scary idea pops into my melon... How many can see them posting TSA goons in schools? Has nothing to do with the T part, but that doesn't matter to big-Gubmnt. Most people would relate TSA to airports, but we've already got TSA/DHS Viper program operating on TN interstate highways. No one thought that would ever happen either.
