Attorney General's Office Will Complete David Gregory Investigation Over Gun Magazine http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2013/01/09/david-gregory-dc-attorney-general_n_2440237.html D.C. attorney general Irvin Nathan said on Wednesday that he hopes to have a decision on the case soon, Politico Reported. "We have received the report of the investigation of MPD," he said. "That report is now with our line prosecutors. I’m expecting their recommendation shortly and then I will make the decision, and I hope I will make that decision this week."

Morgan will get a pass. Replace AJ wit B0 and see how well that goes over. BTW, I haven't heard anything of late how the David Gregory D.C. gun law violation is going. I guess he got the special pass too.

I suppose the rest of us are not as perceptive as you and DaveTN, as I don't pick up on these threats of "violent overthrow". According to you guys, anyone who says "if a gang of burglars breaks into my house while I and my wife and children are sleeping, they will be met with deadly force if necessary to protect my family", that statement equates to "I'm going to go out and find someone who looks like they might break into my house and kill them before they even think of breaking in to my house." The ONLY thing that I have read people saying is that "if some entity comes (to me, my home, my location) with the intent to forcefully disposes me of an object guaranteed me by a specific amendment in the U.S. Constitution meant specifically for the resistence of such an act, I will resist and continue to resist to the degree necessary until the aggression against me ceases." No one is saying that they are the ones who intend to go forth and purport aggression against the govt. or any other entity, all conversations that I am aware of are defensive in posture, NOT offensive. If you feel that you must leave, I am sorry that you feel that way. No one is advocating what you perhaps mistakenly think.

Boehner said: "But, Mr. President, we have a very serious spending problem.†He repeated this message so often, he says, that toward the end of the negotiations, the president became irritated and said: “I’m getting tired of hearing you say that.†http://www.theblaze.com/stories/boehner-i-was-stunned-when-obama-told-me-we-dont-have-a-spending-problem/ http://nation.foxnews.com/government-spending/2013/01/07/obama-boehner-we-dont-have-spending-problem http://www.breitbart.com/Big-Government/2013/01/06/Obama-Boehner-tired-spending -------------- I’m getting tired of hearing you say that. You don’t get anything for it. I’m taking that anyway. That’s our president behind closed doors. Of course, that’s frequently him on camera, as well. He’s never had much patience for other views. Doesn’t that bother Americans? http://www.nationalreview.com/corner/337073/we-do-not-have-spending-problem-kathryn-jean-lopez# Mr. Boehner confirms that at one critical juncture he asked Mr. Obama, after conceding on $800 billion in new taxes, “What am I getting?†and the president replied: “You don’t get anything for it. I’m taking that anyway.†Why has the president been such an immovable force when it comes to cutting spending? “Two reasons,†Mr. Boehner says. “He’s so ideological himself, and he’s unwilling to take on the left wing of his own party.†That reluctance explains why Mr. Obama originally agreed with the Boehner proposal to raise the retirement age for Medicare, the speaker says, but then “pulled back. He admitted in meetings that he couldn’t sell things to his own members. But he didn’t even want to try.â€

What to do if the ban passes...
I thought I made it clear I'm not willing to entertain thoughts of armed violence...that's not what I'm talking about.
Dave takes all criticisms of govt. and of 0bama as threats advocating violence, although he's yet to show us one clear instance of anyone actually doing so. -
They do not sell and drop ship based on speculation of future availability. Guns on layaway are physically in stock and reserved with your name on it once a deposit is made.

Stupid to die or go to prison over pieces of metal and plastic and wood
mcurrier replied to a topic in General Chat
Those pieces of metal and wood are the last defense that protect something even more important that many Americans have and would still die for. Ideas. -
I’ll see your wager and I’ll bet that most of the anti-government types that are suggesting violence will scream like little girls and run the first time a round is fired in their direction, that is if they even show up.Man… why are people on this forum turning against each other or acting like they want a battle ...
$100 if you can show me where anyone is suggesting violence. You've made the same accusations in 4 or 5 other discussions, but we've yet to be shown these supposed calls for violence. Where, specifically, are they?

Pizza Hut Demotes driver for defending himself
mcurrier replied to Mykltn's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
Its one thing for a business/company/corporation to have a no-resist policy for employees while on the premises of company property, but when an employee is out on the street by themself, the company has absolutely no idea what can happen to them, nor does the company offer any security or protection to the employee. Things are a lot more fluid on the street. I speak from experience from both sides. Ive been a delivery driver and Ive owned a pizza delivery chain and had drivers robbed and beaten, one brutally so for $30 woth of pizza (no money). He required plastic surgery. Only the person on the street can determine in the midst of the situation if they need to resist or not. I would not have some corp. exec deciding my fate from behind a desk. Better to be fired than to be dead. -
Im sure 6.8 will be grateful.
Our founding Fathers never intended the 2nd amendment to be used by a bunch of azzhats to justify killing Americans because they aren’t happy with the current administration. We have a set of checks and balances in place. If they fail to point of us taking up arms against each other our country will be in total collapse.I am an American. I will never turn my back on my country.
Glad you cleared that up for us.
I'm not too ashamed to tell you guys, I'm scared. There are things at work bigger than just the regressive president at work here. This could be the beginning of the end for people like us in this country. What if it's just the facebook/texting/screen addicts that allow themselves to be brainwashed overnight that are making everyone's political decisions from here on out? A large number of Americans (I don't know whether to say majority or not) will now believe anything the media or their facebook friends tell them. I urge everyone to go http://www.congress.org/congressorg/mail/?alertid=61046526&type=ML to at least try and stop this from happening. The problem is I think their timing and their strategies may have really paid off this time...
Valid.
"Per Troy, Dicks was selling them undercost." - vontar They didn't say anything about selling under cost. They were selling the guns at a very log margin with plans on making that margin up by high volume sales. So they may only have to make $20 off each gun with Dicks where they would have to make $120 through other channels at lower volumes.
I would think it better for Troy from a manufacturing standpoint to sell 1/6 the volume in guns and make the same amount in $. I would also think that Walmart would have been a much wider distribution than dick's and sell way more units.
