IDIOTS Open Carry ARs in Portland
mcurrier replied to mikegideon's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
The order of the universe is chaos. Things generally tend to not get better without major direct intervention, and that is usually a temporary thing (e.g. "Bush Tax Cuts"). -
hypothetical home defense question
mcurrier replied to jilly's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
And file charges for illegal trespassing, poaching, discharging a weapon on private property without owner's consent, and possible endangerment just to name a few. -
Actually, it is still your property, same as a titled auto or home used as laon collateral, until you default on the payment/repayment terms as it was merely placed in a temporary condition of lien as collateral against the loan. Upon defaulting on the payment agreement and/or full discharging of the loan under terms, then the ownership falls to the pawn shop and they can do with it what they like.

David Gregory Skates on Gun 'Clip' Charges

And that is a HUGE part of what is wrong with America these days. Justice is NOT blind, it has an agenda. -

If La Pierre had even touched the magazine, he would have been buried under the jail by now. This makes my blood boil. -
A VERY Interesting video on AMMO in Fires and Explosions

Yeah, I wouldn,t mind having all of that. At least that dispells a lot of movie myths. -
David Gregory Skates on Gun 'Clip' Charges
mcurrier replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
This is simply B.S. 'The office made its decision “despite the clarity of the violation of this important law, because under all of the circumstances here a prosecution would not promote public safety in the District of Columbia nor serve the best interests of the people of the District to whom this office owes its trust.†Nathan noted that his office’s decision in this case was also influenced by “our recognition that the intent of the temporary possession and short display of the magazine was to promote the First Amendment purpose of informing an ongoing public debate about firearms policy in the United States.†Still, Nathan said other, legal means should have been used to demonstrate Gregory’s point.' ------------------ BUT...they're not too damned worried about OUR Second Amendment. So little so that D.C. violates the hell out of it EVERY FRICKIN' DAY! :panic: :panic: :panic: :wall: :wall: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: :puke: -
David Gregory Skates on Gun 'Clip' Charges
mcurrier replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
So apparently if you have "no criminal record", like ALL CCW permit carriers, D.C. will choose not to prosecute you. Yeah, good luck with that one. Somewhat sets a precedent though for anyone who may get stuck on a canceled flight and be stuck in D.C. with their declared and cased firearm as long as they "have no criminal record". Yeah. Right. -
Smelled that coming. Liberal hypocrisy. Do as I say, not as I do. I'm better than you. I'm special. I am elite. You are scum. http://www.politico.com/story/2013/01/no-gun-magazine-charges-for-david-gregory-86079.html

Blumenthal to File Ammunition Bill

Good movie. Don't generally care for De Niro, but he's pretty good in that and one or two others. -

Been there. Select all and copy every now and then when you're typing a long one. I get screwed on my Android tablet fairly often in the evenings doing that. It doesn't like the TGO typing window very much for some reason. -
Amen! And many gave their personal fortunes to form/save this country. I would do that if/when the time comes if I thought it would make the difference between saving America and losing Her. Some of us are old-school and are willing to sacrifice for the greater good and put our country before ourselves. I believe that right now there are many who still would do so, but we are losing a many from that great generation each day.

"Police departments facing ammo shortage nationwide"
mcurrier replied to East_TN_Patriot's topic in Ammunition and Reloading
That's all well and good, but...how much "practicing" are these guys doing??? I know some leo's that only fire their weapon once a year for qualifications and that's it. I can't see a bunch of paper-pushing, desk-chair-warming, fat-arse IRS types going to the range all that much. The ammo is either stockpiled somewhere collecting dust just so others can't get any, or it has another use intended. -
Political termites. Slowly getting their desired end result. One bite at a time.
