I grant permission to begin lowering prices back to normal
mcurrier replied to TripleDigitRide's topic in General Chat
The cool thing about Walmart is, prices are set and have not gone up. The one I go to has received 6 AR's in the past 11 days. Gotta be there early when they come in to get one. -
I will get at least one of these. Excellent for Ultra-DEEP concealment. A necessity that seems to be quickly increasing.

Tennessee house bill to push back against gun legislation
mcurrier replied to a topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I will NOT comply. -
Agreed, but the thing is, they don't even want to fix "the problem", it's not even about that. It's about something else entirely altogether. They don't give a crap about kids getting killed or they'd really be up in arms (pun intended) about abortion. This is just an opportunity for them, anyone's safety is the least of their concerns.

It's been read. What shall we do now? This is only the tip of the iceberg. So much of it is so vague that it will ultimately be all-encompassing and overlapping. He will delegate some of it to agencies who will write more regulations and turn us all into criminals. I'd much rather he had just signed a single EO banning everything. At least then we could directly attack/defend that by legal challenges, SCOTUS, impeachment and other avenues. As it is, he threw a hand grenade out there and there is stuff flying in many directions.

I recommend: The American Challenge - What Every American Should Know About Their Country by Robert C. Etheredge An excellent and up to date resource on all things government. It is well worth reading. http://amzn.com/0966580443 -
Understanding the Obama conspiracy & U.S. takeover: They Are Not Coming For Our Guns, They Are Coming For Us http://www.canadafreepress.com/index.php/article/52426 An excerpt from the article - ------------ They are not coming for our guns “Did you really think we want those laws observed?†said Dr. Ferris. “We want them to be broken. You’d better get it straight that it’s not a bunch of boy scouts you’re up against… We’re after power and we mean it… There’s no way to rule innocent men. The only power any government has is the power to crack down on criminals. Well, when there aren’t enough criminals one makes them. One declares so many things to be a crime that it becomes impossible for men to live without breaking laws. Who wants a nation of law-abiding citizens? What’s there in that for anyone? But just pass the kind of laws that can neither be observed nor enforced or objectively interpreted – and you create a nation of law-breakers – and then you cash in on guilt. Now that’s the system, Mr. Reardon, that’s the game, and once you understand it, you’ll be much easier to deal with.†-Ayn Rand, Atlas Shrugged Would you believe me if I wrote that the government is not after our guns? Probably not, as it certainly looks that way with the pending executive orders and new gun legislation. Well, the guns are secondary. I urge you to think bigger, “think outside of the box.†Make no mistake about this, they will come after our guns, but they are coming after us. ------------

Gun Policy Summit Recommendations
mcurrier replied to mcurrier's topic in 2A Legislation and Politics
I hope you're right. I thought that would be the case back in November. I'm not particularly saying that he will get a third term. Just that his second term may never end. -

True. And I've been wondering... what happens if you run across the border to say PA, CT, NJ, Mass, NH, Vermont to get some and get "caught" with it coming back in to NY??? Has there been any mention of that? Just curious. It will probably be a felony. -

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg on Monday told a group of Johns Hopkins students that President Obama ought to sidestep the wishes of Congress and order swift new executive gun control measures. Mayor Michael Bloomberg said on Monday that President Obama should implement a series of gun control measures through executive action.“There are steps that President Obama can take without congressional approval at any time he chooses with just one stroke of the pen,†Bloomberg told the mixed audience of students and scholars, speaking at the “Gun Policy Summit†at Johns Hopkins University.
