  1. That's true of most people. Lenny Skutnik, where are you? I want to buy you a beer.
  2. The main (and should be 'only') purpose of the U.S. Government is: 1. to provide for the common defense, and 2. for infrastructure projects (i.e. roads, police, fire, rescue, hospital). That's it. Otherwise, 'government' needs to stay out of our face. "There are three reasons to own a gun: To protect yourself and your family, to hunt dangerous and delicious animals, and to keep the King of England (govt.) out of your face." — Krusty the Clown
  3. Wouldn't it be awesome if the Conservative/Republican counterpart of George Soros offered to buy an AR-15 for every legal citizen adult in America? Is there such a person? This fantasy brought to you by another TGO member's signature line - "The best we can hope for concerning the people at larg eis that they are properly armed" - Alexander Hamilton
  4. Online app?
  5. Texas Roadhouse 2 for $13.99 M-T-W (tuesday sucks for me) Ate there Monday for $7.67 after tax (each of us) 6oz. sirloin, salad, 1-side, water, all-you-can-eat bread and peanuts
  6. OK, I just called (was just going to be patient and wait, but...). Same exact story as above. Did mine on 3/13. Should have next week! Woo Hoo!
  7. Ask to see the invoice. They have to show it to you if you ask.
  8. While this story is obviously very tragic indeed, I doubt that we will hear cries to ban kitchen knives. A guy killed one sister, decapitated another (5 y.o.) and was attempting to harm a third. 4 officers shot him. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,511340,00.html "household knife" "Within moments, four officers were inside and two of them shot Revelus as he tried to get to Sarafina, Wells said. Revelus fell, still clutching the knife. Details about the number of shots and who killed Revelus were pending the outcome of an autopsy Sunday." Whaaaaa???? Does it REALLY frickin' matter who or how many shots it took?!?!?! The s.o.b. was stopped. THAT'S what matters. I'm so tired of bad, melodramatic reporting, misleading headlines, and of the emphasis of a story usually being on the wrong thing.
  9. yep well...some of 'us' anyhow. only problem is if those idiots go down, we will be going with them. only thing to do is keep up the fight! for preservation of the Constitution, Freedom and the American way of life!
  10. AGREED! When you start messing with those founding principals and safeguards then nothing is safe.
  11. You are talking about George Bush, right? All I heard for eight years is how so many liberals hated Bush. They couldn't argue based on much fact that Bush was that bad of a President. They just hated his guts and we heard it 24/7/365 through every liberal media outlet (that would be ALL of them). This is a bit different. Just as God does not hate the sinner, but the sin, it's not so much that people "hate" Obama, but his beliefs, agenda and policies. You don't base your assessment so much on what a man says, but what he does (and has done). He has tipped his hand that he does intend to take this country to an extreme place of change as fast as he can. Everything is a 'crisis' that must be handled immediately without reading or thinking about it, just get it passed no matter what the consequences. It's like narcotics. Anything that you put into your body that only affects it slowly and gradually is safer than something you put into your body that radically changes it very quickly. That's what is going on here. All in the guise of 'saving' the country. He could have learned (if that were really his intent) that the first massive 'bailout' bill was a mistake when it was delayed and the market rallied. But then when it was passed the markets took a dive. Pretty indicative of a narcotic being introduced into the 'life system' of the United States. Hopefully we will be able to stave off any more hastily passed bailouts or other rushed through legislation and survive 3 years 10 months xx days of Jimmy Carter Jr.
  12. final version (this one is more refined)
  13. They will usually charge you $35-$100 for the battery. You can get one at Radio Shack for about $15-$20.
  14. or this? I like this one better.
  15. How's this?
  16. That was last weekend. This one is about 3 times bigger.
  17. Almost all of ours have been spayed and neutered. They are too busy running around sticking their noses under each other's tails to use their brains.
  18. Mostly strip joints, escort services and 'massage' parlors.
  19. Bought 6 of the 12 boxes at 9:30am Academy in Hendersonville this morning. $13.99 for FMJ. They had 25 boxes last night. They get shipments in on Tue. and Thur.
  20. Yaaaaaaaay!
  21. That's the story. Now ask if he was elected by most living Americans.
  22. If they discard the 2nd Amendment, they will have no qualms about discarding the entire constitution. We are being subverted from the inside out.
  23. I don't understand this need to call b.s.. It seems as if that has become an unofficial requirement of finishing an already arduous procedure. And everyone who posts about calling states that when they do, they are told it was issued that day. As in 'coincidentally' issued just before they called? Or because of the call? What gives?
