  1. Mesa Tactical stock on mine.... love it!
  2. Late to the show but.............. Marlin 39A a great, great, great first lever action rifle. Then track down a used Chiappa '92 in 38/357.
  3. Lately been on a kick with the Lucas "extreme" oil and grease, you can feel a difference vs normal gun oils. Std military CLP for general pew pew cleaning and protection. ('cause I got a 1 gal jug of it when I retired from the Army )
  4. Highly recommend these guys! (they might be a bit further east tho). They have killer holiday sale prices. "Cummings Custom Refinishing" in Greeneville. https://www.ccrrefinishing.com/
  5. I've done my fair share of shooting in the dark and here's what I've learned... A Tritium frt sight way down on the end of an AR15/M16 is all but worthless in high stress, heat of the moment engagement. It's mildly usable in a stable fixed shooting position when you can focus on the itty-bitty spec of trit light. A fixed 1X or 2x "shake awake" optic will run circles around night sights, esp in high stress moving target situations. Very very hard to beat the built like a tank Primary Arms 1X Cyclops or the 3X Raptor ACSS series prism optics plus they have adj diopters for aging eyes! Catch 'em on sale during a holiday and you won't believe how you lived without 'em. I've got them on everything from ARs to AKs to HKs. (Mrgunsngear sometimes has a code for a free Anti Reflection Device for the front of them) YMMV, White Rabbit
  6. Mehhhh....... Probably be about the size of a basketball court, I got nothing better to do. At least it might not be the same ****** dealers like the Gray/Shriner show.
  7. I fire golf balls and those eat up enough BP...I hate to think how much you'll go through sending bowling balls into orbit!
  8. Looking closer at it, it looks like a Rem 1100 style action.
  9. So I spotted this shotgun at a local store, the action kind'a sort'a looks like a Benelli M4 action. I've googled my a** off and can't find info on what it's based off of. Anyone have one or have any info on them? Thanks, M
  10. Hate dragging this to the top but I just checked one of these out at Academy . The trigger....well.......sucks. Not just a little but alot! Felt like almost7lb. I'd seriously take a look at the other Turkish delight, the Canik TP9SF One if you are looking for a low cost striker fired pistol. (they're going for under $300)
  11. View is from Unaka Mtn. (my back yard. LOL!) Yep, nice quiet lil' town and everyone knows everyone. No railroading in my blood, just moonshine running on my dad's side of the family, coal miners and share croppers from Va. on mom's side. National Forrest Shooting range is 5 mins from my house. Nice! lol!
  12. Hey, Yep, that's about all I got to say for now.
