There were many ways to read or perceive Harris's concession. And I trust one's lense is influenced by many factors. I won't debate anyone's take, that is theirs to own. She spoke well for the most part. She ticked boxes I expected. Threw pointed barbs with less provoking, carefully worded phrasing... as expected. And a promise of cooperation, as expected, having no other choice without being obviously hypocritical. However, she was speaking directly to her supporters only, not the nation or the other 51+ % as was evident in many sections and "this is not what you voted for". While giving lip service to transition so the can make reference of the 'tyranny' of 4 years ago...again a barb expected. The calls for fighting and active resistance from the usual sanctimonious position of the democratic party. They will fight for constitution... AFTER they kill 2A (having called out the need for gun control) and shape it to what they and her supports feel it should be, not what the nation thinks it should be. Interpretations are subjective. I would not call what I saw gracious exactly. Rather a well structured product of some smarter people than those that were running (which she presented well). With notice they they will be coming in 4 years and will be resisting the entire time. Game on.

I am sure they want to avoid the overt hypocrisy not conceding would show. She may not want to, but they must in order to keep the illusion up for their followers. The curated statements are probably taking longer to craft than expected. The Trump win means the country is not as delusional as they originally thought, so they have to come up with some new spin.

I’ve never watched these, not news until it’s called. I’m looking forward to the concession speech. That I will watch. Because liberal tears are delicious

  9. Thanks Scotty, good lookin out! Geissele mixed it up this year. They did their blem sale for 4th of July. All the triggers in this price range were $122.50, so this is better! I got a couple back in July. And though I absolutely don't need the stack of unused triggers to get taller, hard to say no.
  10. Most folks generally love the 2S. I've heard many say its on-part with the SSA-E. And it's extremely unpopular not to rave about them, similar to all things Ed Brown (as I found out). I have a couple of them. I tried the first one. I did not find that one on-par with my SSA-E's. It's fine. It's less than $100, and I think that helps the opinions. Production variation possibly, I understand some can take break in. Absolute improvement over milspec, good price point for a quality made product. Maybe a hair over-hyped (flame suit on) compared to the benchmark triggers folks like to compare it to. I'd say buy the SSA-E during the blem sale or the super sales Geissele occasionally has. Black Friday is coming.... they will likely be around $135ish. Worth it IMO. I admit, I am a trigger snob. All that said, I know where you can get a deal on a MBT-2S. Only installed one and dry fired a few times
  11. Harborfreight 10 amp portable bandsaw. Used it only once for a small project a few year ago. Excellent condition. $40 https://www.harborfreight.com/10-amp-deep-cut-variable-speed-band-saw-64194.html Campbell Hausfeld 2 in 1, 18 gauge finish nailer and stapler. Excellent shape, very little use. $20 https://campbellhausfeld.com/files/manuals/manual02/700601_0413_web.pdf Chattanooga area. $50 for both!

  14. I'm sure there are plenty of folks in you area who have the means to assist, but I'd suggest getting one of the inexpensive aluminum / rubber lined barrel vises from Amazon so you can do these as you need to. Assuming you have a vise and handguards are either not in the way or removable without fuss. I use to hold the upper or use a reaction rod but after seeing how much twist you can get with ones that are a little resistant I stopped doing them and only hold the barrel as close to the muzzle as possible.
  15. He did an interview with Mike Jones (Garand Thumb) a few months ago. You could see how the illness had firm hold, but he was still out doing seminars and enjoying the 'format' as he put it, while he could. He will be missed. If you were holding off buying that Sears Roebuck field jacket from ebay as to leave them for him, you can now get one in his honor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vf-4mGdXi7U
