pending Beretta 92 Volunteer edition - SPM on 2/4
NickinTN replied to NickinTN's topic in Firearms Classifieds
I'm sure it's a sweet shooter but I've had 4 of the Wilson Combat Berettas (both the Brigadier and Centurion versions) so I don't think I've missed out too bad -
Made a couple of big (for me) gun purchases lately so figure I'll throw this one out here to see if anyone wants it more than I would like to keep it. Beretta 92 Volunteer edition. I bought this gun new and it is unfired since I had it. (I assume they still factory test fire them) It has been on a display stand in my living room, handled and the slide racked maybe a dozen times since I've had it. Beautiful gun with the special grips and engraving. Plenty of info on them via the Google so won't go into the specs or details. There is a minor imperfection near the takedown lever. Tried to get a picture of it the best I could. Not sure what it is but was there from the factory. (4th picture) Feel free to PM me with any questions. $1,000 takes her home. SPM on 2/4

Would make a great Christmas present....

She gone... Picked up yet another subcompact (CZ P-10M) so I need to once again reduce the inventory so here it goes.. Sig P365 NRA edition. Complete just as it was sent from the factory, coin and 3 mags. Gun has a total of 50 rounds through it, no issues. I'll also include the kydex AIWB holster. PM with any questions. $575 $550

I've not seen that model, looks interesting. Looking at the grip I'd say I'd still prefer the VP9 style as the 509 style while will work for me fall well behind the VP9 type. I also prefer the VP9 trigger over the 509 but that one does look interesting....

Is there supposed to be something after the but?

That blows and can't blame you for not wanting to give them a try. Mine ran flawless out of the box.

You should also look at the Springfield XD-M. I bought one when it first came out, great gun. I much prefer the feel in hand when compared to the Glocks, at least the 20 and 29SF of which I owned both. just another option.

My LGS got two in this week and I handled one yesterday. Felt great in hand, very much like a PPQ but with better texture/grip. Trigger was great, sights I didn't like but that's on me and not them. Overall a very nice gun. Doubt I'll buy once as I would still pick my P-10C over it but again that's just me. I'm not sure what the MSRP is but I think he had $679 on the tag.

Looks good! I had a DVC C that I foolishly let go, one the hunt for a deal on a Staccato to try and replace it....
-
My LGS is starting to see his pistol inventory get back to close to normal, and prices are pretty close to normal. Long guns are still slightly elevated but people keep buying them..... Ammo is a whole different ball game

No one told me the TEC-9 was back...and more expensive than ever...

That's a good point, I've been tempted to try and sell mine just because of some of the stupid prices I've seen out there.... But the Scorpions are still bargains based on some of the others mentioned above. -

My Scorpion is tops on my list when it comes to range days... -
Big Olight fan here, the Seeker Pro being my favorite

Love it! Just got back from shooting my 457 AT-ONE, great shooting

Agree with the mag dump, a little heat can do wonders.

I had a set on a Rami and really liked them. Once I got used to them I felt like I was just as accurate with them as any other type of sight, and much easier to pick up quickly.

I have both, kind of, my 41 being an older model and my Ruger being a 22/45 lite. That being said with the price difference I'd go Ruger all day. Both are excellent, the price tag would be the determining factor for me. You aren't getting any extra performance at double the price. IMO.

Nice purchase, sometimes when you handle a firearm and you just have to have it the matter of whether or not it's a "good" buy goes out the door! FWIW - I found the Sig Forum (or at least the one I'm a member of) to be very helpful and for the most part friendly.

For me the 509T was the first gun that I felt comfortable with shooting with an optic. I had a 320RX, a Q5 Match and a CZ SP-01 with red dots and never liked shooting them. The 509T was just different for me, I could pick the gun up, find the dot and boom hit the target. Not sure if it's the mounting system or what but it just works. The trigger isn't great but it isn't bad either. I usually replace or at least work on all my triggers but I've chose to leave the 509T alone. It's my "living room" gun and the trigger is fine for that use.

Nice looking setup! I've had a FN509T since they first came out and it's the only pistol so far that I felt comfortable shooting with a RMR mounted on. I picked up a 509M a while back and really liked it but sold it to help perpetuate my never ending rotation of firearms. It was nice but not as nice as my P10C so it didn't make the cut to be kept. I agree 100% that they are often overlooked, and if I needed something to fill the compact slot it would be my 2nd choice. I'm not to the point to where I like RMR on my carry guns, but I just bought the OR P10S in case I change my mind later down the road...

You would have to have the SW Shield slide milled to fit the optic.

I have a Vortex Venom on my FN509T and love it for range time and as a house gun but like Mamba above I wouldn't put one on a CC gun. I do love the Walther PPQ platform, man those are sweet striker triggers!
