  3. Tonite, barbecue ribs, baked beans and roastnears. That's how I say it. Don't know about you all. HJ
  4. About 25 yrs ago, I had one that had been sawed off. It had mule ear hammers and damascus barrels. At that time it was appraised at between $1500 and $2000 had it not been cut down. HJ
  5. If you make these available, I'd be interested. What about Heroes and Pistol Packin' Mamas. My wife would Love one like that. Upper management at her office are on the Right, but her office buddies are a little left of center. Thanks
  6. Sling, send some rain to the East Please. It's so hot and dry here, my beagle was chasing a rabbit and they were both walking. Just a little humor to lighten the momment.
  7. Pistol "PackinMama" sounds familiar!
  8. You can open carry, but to me it's just asking for trouble. Better off concealed. Just my 2 pennies.
  9. Not really a McCain fan, but I kinda liking the team a little better all the time!

  11. Cool old rifles. Looks like a lot of fun! Mike
  12. I'd go with a bolt gun first, then after you get the mechanics of shooting under control, buy one of my 10/22s. Stainless International or custom bull barrel. PM me. .22's are great learning tools. Mike
  13. Mark, my design is similar to the Coehorn, but I changed it a little. The barrel is complete. And I've built a temporary (carriage) for testing. I'll post range reports later. Mike.
  14. Didn't know where to post this, so! What are the laws concerning the building of a black powder mortar to fire golf balls? If it's black powder and called a "signal cannon" would it be legal? Please ,opinions and info appreciated. Thanks.
  15. Mike's Gun Shop in New Tazewell. Good people. CCA gets a thumbs down. I'm not permitted to disclose the details at this time.
  16. I did some trading with the guys at Leo's back a few years ago. Usually traded with a fellow named Jim. There used to be a guy that hung around there, maybe worked part time. Bill Schrader I think. We did alot of trading. I miss the place. Never heard what happened. I dropped by one day and it was closed. If you're looking for a nice shop, ran by some good people, try Mike's in New Tazewell. Good selection and a good place to hang and talk firearms. Be careful though, they have layaway and 90 days same as cash! Hillbilly.
  17. Check the for sale section!
  18. Congrats to a former Tazmanian!
  19. My post was from 11-25, which was last Sunday.
  20. Thanks Mars, you gotta link to those accessories?
  21. Has any one been to the show this weekend? Was Georgia Arms there? Thanks.
  22. Thompson, Auto Ordnance or Kahr. 1927 with a drum and violin case. Missed one at the last show. Guy was leaving with one as I arrived, $1100. Still looking.
  23. First, thanks for your service. Second, Welcome!
  24. I was there Sunday, and I'll have to say it was pretty bad. They keep getting worse all the time. By the time I spend $30 for gas, $10 to get in, and an hour drive each way I'll just spend my money at my local shop. By the way, Mike's Gun Shop in New Tazewell has a good selection of all your firearm needs. 1911's, AR's and everything else. Good people. Just my 2 cents.
