Unless you have hands like an NFL offensive lineman, I would look at the 21 SF instead of the 21. It has a trimmed-down grip that fits us non-NFL types better. The last thing you want is to have to reach for the trigger.

Bring your own gun to what? Is this a training class? If so, I would want to get that training with the gun I'm going to use, not one I'll probably never shoot again.

+1 I got to Sharpshooter w/ a G23, then switched to a G19. Don't know what type of 9 you have (if any), but like gsb said, it's the shooter, not the gun.

Baloney. I wear a fleece vest throughout much of the fall/winter/spring, and I blend in with probably 50% of other males. Fleece vests are popular and I bet you wouldn't think "where is his camera" if you saw me in a store.

I've always had great luck with Remington UMC. IMO, they are higher quality than WWB. I've never gotten collapsed cases or failures-to-go-bang like I have occasionally experienced with WWB. The 9mm 115 FMJs have always been about 50 fps slower then WWB, which is not always a bad thing.

Kimber Compact CDP II, and no it was not an external extractor gun. Worst thing I've ever done with $1000 in my life. Taurus PT-92 was a close second, but only cost 1/3 the price of the Kimber.

Don't call the police, and don't open the package. Call UPS or FedEx or whoever delivered it and tell them that no such person lives at this address and they need to come get it. Drugs being in the package is not as far-fetched as you may think.

LOL, I'm only 38! It was good to put names with faces. If you're modding your Glock sights the way I think you are (making an all-black rear), try pulling the rear sight off and putting it on backwards. I shot IDPA like this for 6 months with a G19. Then I decided that I wanted a wider rear notch, so I got out the emory board. That was one ugly sight, but it worked well. BTW, I now have a Springfield EMP and an STI Trojan. Both were initially trouble; the EMP is all worked out, but the Trojan is iffy. My 1911 adventures continue. Back on topic now.

I'm all for supporting the locals and all, but I wouldn't touch one until I knew more than one person that was happy with his/hers. Too many well-known manufacturers have problems building 1911s that run.

This is impossible. Only Glocks are capable of this.
