Same here, and I'm not working from home.

Maybe Clinton would have done better, maybe not. Her email habits and her handling of Benghazi don't exactly inspire confidence. Also, the Pandemic Committee didn't get disbanded. It got combined with another committee in an effort to streamline and de-beurocratize it. And if we did have a CDC rep in Wuhan? We probably never would have heard from him again. Yeah I wish the Trump administration had paid more attention to that. Maybe he was distracted by Russia BS, Ukraine BS, impeachment BS, media constantly attacking him BS, etc. Now Schiff is talking about a 9-11 style investigation of Trump. Imaaaaagine that.

It is amusing that the newest announcement discourages pushing conspiracy theories while a mod is pushing conspiracy theories.

Let me guess...by not electing Hillary Clinton?

A good read. I took a course from Givens years ago and remember the story about the Petit family. I have a co-worker who has repeatedly said his chances of being a crime victim are almost non-existent because he doesn't go to areas where crime happens. It blows his mind when I shake my head and reply that anything can (and sometimes does) happen anywhere, any time. He (and many others) refuse to acknowledge this reality.

They are in line at the gun shop.

I would post the same question in the Multigun section on enos. I used to 3-gun with a 16" M4 profile barrel out to 300 yards and never noticed a heat issue, but I would be nervous about building a pencil-barrel gamer gun without first talking to some experienced 3-gunners who have done it.

Coronavirus: The cure can’t be worse than the problem!

I don’t recall any flu season that killed 15,000 Americans in four days. If that continued for a year, there would be over 1.3 million dead. -

Nearly 2800 CV patients in Italy have died in the last four days. If it gets that bad in the US, that’s the equivalent of about 15,000 US deaths after extrapolating the numbers of deaths to the US population. That would be a bigger deal than the flu. -
The round has probably pretty much shot its wad at 14" and the velocities at 15, 16, 17, and 18 all reflect basically the same velocity when you account for standard deviation and extreme spread.

Wow, figured it would be MSRP + $$$

Wonder what the odds of finding one right now are...

I wish I had gone ahead and picked up my other 48. I haven't really looked, but I assume they are all gone or $700.

From my experience, carbine-length barrels still give better velocity. Even a 147 loaded with a small dose of fast burning powder (Hodgdon Titegroup, for example) still gains 100-150 FPS over a Glock 34 and the 34 is probably on the higher end of pistol velocities. This type of load is the one that should not, theoretically, see much (if any) gain. With some hot-loaded 115s, the gain will probably be even more.

I ran 3.5 miles this morning and saw other runners, several dog walkers, and a few families walking. More people doing outdoor exercise than I’ve ever seen.

Maybe, maybe not, but the guy's comment was a slap in the face to Trump. No president is going to stand there and take a bunch of snark from a smartass reporter, especially the current president.
-
Post the whole conversation. The reporter first mentioned Trump’s “impulse to put a positive spin on things.” This is what set Trump off.

Exactly. A fair price is whatever a buyer is willing to pay and a seller is willing to accept.

Hopefully, ranges don't start closing their whole operation. I'm off next week (preplanned) and I could use the down time to load a stack of .40 ammo. BUT I'm about to open a new can of powder, so before I pile up, I need to load a few and go chronograph to check for lot-to-lot variation. The clock is ticking, lol.

Well, let's say it is happening. Are we to believe that China, Russia, Iran, and all the other world thugs have suddenly decided to launch cyber attacks simply because Donald Trump is a smartass? Or because there is some economic advantage for them? If Obama were still in office, you're telling me they would withhold their cyber attacks and ignore whatever benefit a slow US recovery may provide for them? Maybe they would even ship us some corona testing kits. Trump needs to tone down his twitter rhetoric, but I don't believe world leaders base their economic/foreign/geopolitical policy on some stupid twitter comments, especially when that policy could be construed as acts of war. If they want to hurt us financially and get him out of office as a result, it's not because he's a twitter bully. It's because he's not shipping pallets of cash to Iran, not colluding with the Russians, and not supporting the Chinese economy at the expense of the US economy by declaring that US manufacturing that moved to China is gone forever. Like his predecessor.

Well, it apparently didn't work. I just went to several legit news sites and loaded a couple articles on each with no issues.
