  1. When I'm craving a good stomach ache or want to feel like I was in a car wreck a couple hours ago, I always head to McDonalds.
  2. We've seen this over and over. "Rules for thee, not for me." Between events like this and ignoring the border, it's hard to take these people seriously.
  3. Much of this is irrelevant for a pragmatic voter. I sometimes fall into the category of the voter who is not as concerned about my politician "getting something done" as I am about "not allowing more crap to get done." Gridlock and do-nothing Congresses are not always a bad thing.
  4. Ha! We may work for the same company.
  5. "Police have responded with water cannons, rubber bullets, and tear gas" This would disqualify Portland
  6. Or dumbo’s birthday party… https://nypost.com/2021/08/07/barack-obamas-birthday-bash-at-marthas-vineyard-guest-list-john-legend-chrissy-teigen-dwayne-wade/
  7. Well did more people die 2014-2020 in the past 6 months?
  8. I won a P10F last year and figured I would end up selling it, but I really like that gun and kept it. But my favorite? Glock 34.
  9. Well there is a global chip shortage, so they probably used whatever Bangladesh-made crap they could find. Hmmmmm maybe the chip shortage is due to all these shots…
  10. Hopefully he used the hot/crazy matrix:
  11. Getting used to it will be straightforward. Trusting it will not. It’s already fogged up once when I went from the house to the garage on a muggy night. I put some of Chuck’s Cat Crap cleaner on it (and the DPP in the other pic), but haven’t had either one in any suddenly humid conditions yet.
  12. Here is another similar project:
  13. Right. Meanwhile, I wonder if the administration is making sure to vaccinate all the illegals flooding the border...
  14. Ok, so I jumped in. Should be interesting.
  15. Hmmmm…bout what I figured. By comparison, CDC estimates 434 flu deaths for the same age group for the 19-20 flu season, which is a fraction of the time period for the covid number. Also, covid apparently cured flu. A pragmatist might argue that covid was good for kids. Whatever the case, freaking over covid child deaths and promoting school closures and more restrictions seem a bit misguided. https://www.cdc.gov/flu/about/burden/2019-2020.html
  16. As long as it's somebody else's money being wasted. My point was that the sky didn't fall like we were told it would. We didn't use the extra hospitals built or ships designated for covid. 2.2 million didn't die and everybody in America didn't lose somebody they break bread with, as Fauci predicted.
  17. I wonder how many people under 18 have died from covid.
  18. More money wasted on covid... https://www.wreg.com/news/coronavirus/emergency-covid-19-hospital-in-memphis-closed-facility-never-used/
  19. Yep I saw the link you posted and meant to order some the other day, but forgot about it. I’ll add that to today’s to-do list.
  20. I wouldn’t doubt any of this, but not getting the shot can have drastically worse social consequences than getting it. No one has lost their job or their scholarship or their money spent on a cruise ship ticket because they got the shot. We can’t say the opposite.
  21. None of the black people I’ve talked to mentioned mistrust of government or hinted at Tuskegee. They all said basically the same thing I do—it hasn’t been around very long and I’m gonna let others be the lab rats.
  22. Ding ding ding ding winner.
  23. I have a friend who also says carrying a dot gun IWB keeps the dot warm and prevents fogging. I plan to experiment with this. Fogged up or not, the dot still works if using both eyes. However, the sight picture is way different and the potential delay in sorting it out is what has me concerned. Chuck mentioned Cat Crap the other day and I didn’t initially realize it was an actual product. I thought Chuck was just being Chuck lol
