I discovered jerk chicken in Jamaica 20+ years ago. I had never heard of it and it didn't sound particularly appealing, but I was hooked when I tried it. I have no idea how to make the seasoning itself, but be warned - it will always be spicey, but can sometimes get quite warm. I like spice, but not heat.

3 tbsp jerk seasoning when I can find it 3 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp soy sauce 1tbsp apple cider vinegar 2 lbs chicken breasts

Powder can last quite a while. My biggest concern would be lot to lot variation and has the manufacturer changed the recipe. I recently finished some 10 year N320 and opened a fairly new can. I had to reduce the charge .3 grains to get the same velocity.

Do you still trust Sean Hannity, Tucker Carlson and Laura Ingraham

Malcolm Nance and Don Lemon for us. -
That explains why I've never heard of STEU, lol. I've worked with OCU and Cargo Theft and would hate to see them banned because of idiotic knee-jerk reactive politics.
-
Right, but was STEU also recently deactivated? The article made it sound like STEU would be doing a lot more than random traffic control. Meanwhile, county commissioner Britney Thornton has apparently gotten over being triggered by whiteness and is now focused on passing an ordinance that will not allow arrests after a traffic stop for unrelated violations and also ban any law enforcement agency in Shelby County from having any specialized unit or participating in a multi-agency task force. Yeah that's a step in the right direction

Special traffic unit has been reactivated sooner than expected, but not soon enough. https://wreg.com/news/local/mpd-reactivates-special-traffic-enforcement-unit/

Discover Card to Begin Tracking Gun Purchases in April!

...or control how many guns you can buy, who is buying too much gasoline, or who is hoarding up more money than is allowed. Sounds like something from George Orwell, but there are politicians in office today who would do this tomorrow if they could get away with it. -
Discontinued. The full size DWX is finally out there and I wouldn't be surprised if the compact is not far behind.
-
The only guns I regret selling are a Norinco MAK90 and an HK P7. Wish I could have those back.

One of the accused shooters got a $25,000 bond today. I don't think things are improving around here. https://www.fox13memphis.com/news/man-charged-with-mass-shooting-at-whitehaven-club-given-25k-bond/article_2df1f818-b3aa-11ed-816a-37bc94b1a5e3.html

Memphis PD Chief Davis Previously Fired for Coverup

Maybe not. The county is going to hire a babysitter for Halbert and pay him/her $150,000 to do Halbert's job. https://www.actionnews5.com/2023/02/23/special-advisor-assist-develop-solutions-shelby-county-clerks-office/ Meanwhile, the county commission is considering a proposal to use $5 million of covid funds to pay for a reparations study. Someday I will leave Shelby County. -
What did Walther improve over the PPQ? I had a 4" PPQ and a Q5, but decided they weren't for me. They were accurate and had decent triggers, but none of the backstraps would allow me ergonomically activate both the mag release and the slide release - I had to pick one or the other. Many complained that the grip was too short. The grip texture was meh, but there is no such thing as too aggressive in my book. I wanted to like them, but ended up going back to a Glock.

The PT-92. I had one and well, mama said if you don't have anything nice to say...

How close does one have to be to use a taser? If the guy has a knife, I'm maintaining distance. -
Per their websites, the 43 with empty mag is two ounces heavier than the CM9 with empty mag. That ain't much. THE MSRP of all three are within $9. MY CM9 trigger was exactly as you describe - light, smooth, and waaaay too long. It's been a while, but I remember my Shield being chunkier in the grip. The 43 is OK until you add the +1 extension. Then it becomes a whole new gun that is much easier to shoot in a hurry. I'm not a 43 fanboy (it's too small), but my current situation has temporarily led me to pocket carry and it's the best option I have found. I'm glad I already had it.
-
I've owned all three (43, CM9, and Shield) and the Shield was bigger than the other two. The CM9 and the 43 were close enough to not matter when the 43 was wearing its stock 6 round magazine. I am using sise-by-side comparisons, not some manufacturer's misleading specs. The CM9 was a good little gun except for its awful trigger.

And just in case anybody thinks Vogel can't shoot...he shoots the Ohio state pistol qual at 5x the distance and half the allowed time.
-
I could watch Vogel videos all day. Here are a couple more where he discusses grip and grip strength. One thing I've always believed and Vogel teaches is not to crush the gun with the firing hand. Vogel does have freak hand strength, though.

Glock 43 It's not Gucci like all the mini double stacks that are now fashionable and it's too small (for me) to be a general purpose carry gun, but it's quite useful in certain roles. I'm recovering from rotator cuff surgery and didn't realize I would struggle so much to button my damn pants, so I have been carrying a pocket gun in a kydex Aholster instead of the usual IWB rig. Many would argue that a j-frame is the best answer for a pocket gun, but I think the 43 is superior. - holds three more rounds (w/ Pearce +1) -flatter/easier to conceal -easier to shoot -less recoil -9mm is arguably more effective than .38
-
...which may already be superior to what they are selling.

Agreed - the best handgun shooter in the world, Eric Grauffel, puts his finger around the front of the trigger guard fudd style. What is counterproductive for some may be perfect for others and vice versa.
