  1. One full mag w/ a Pierce +1 in the Glock 27 along with 12 more in a Glock 23 mag.
  2. that and it costs 24 shares of Microsoft stock per mag of frangible .223
  3. Yep, Andy Wise did in fact do some of the interviews.
  4. Petit Jean State Park in AR
  5. Yeah, Slim-Fast is a miracle worker!
  6. nightrunner, you're just not right.
  7. I liked Shooter, but the book it was based on, Point of Impact, was top-notch. Also, I agree that Blazing Saddles was one of the greatest comedies ever. "Candy gram for Mongo, Candy gram for Mongo." "Mongo like candy..." BOOM
  8. I have a pistol grip Mossberg, and a friend once bet me I wouldn't shoot a slug one-handed. I shot the whole box of 3" Remington slugs one-handed. It did hurt a bit, and my left hand shook for the rest of the day, but I won the bet. I actually got pretty good with it shooting off-hand at 25 yards. These guns are nothing when shooting from the hip.
  9. But Mr. Rogers was a LRRP! I know because I read it on the internet!
  10. +1 We got ourselves a 50" Samsung after Christmas last year, and until football season (Dallas Cowboys/UT Vols), I probably didn't watch the thing 10 hours. All I ever watch anyway (except football season) is a little MMA fighting and sometimes Outdoor Channel on Wednesday nights.
  11. Don't forget Captain Kangaroo--he was Lee Marvin's commanding officer on Iwo Jima, I believe (correct me if I'm wrong).
  12. Whichever one works for the most people. Hang out and shoot IDPA, or simply hang out and eat. Typically, I get off work too late to make the matches, but I can usually be there for a 7 pm meet-n-eat. In fact, it's rare that I shoot at all during the week, but I'm off work today. I will be there tonight (for the IDPA match). If anybody is there tonight, I'll be the lefty in the green vest.

  14. Better yet, meet on the last Friday night of the month and catch (or at least watch) RUSA's last-Friday-of-the-month IDPA match. They shoot every Tuesday night and, you guessed it, the last Friday of each month.
  15. Ahh--will investigate tomorrow. Thanks for the tip.
  16. 7 pm would work for me
  17. Do either of you know how old the Glock is in your pics? Manufacture date, generation two or three? Just curious. Also, I confirmed today that an M&P CAN be dryfired and then field stripped. However, I also found the sear deactivator that was mentioned earlier. My friend apparently didn't read his owner's manual, and didn't know he could do this. The only problem was that he didn't have anything to do it with except his keys, and they were all too rounded to grip the thing.
  18. I just stumbled across this section...anybody planning a March or April meeting at RUSA?
  19. I'll see him tomorrow and figure out what he's doing. Thanks for the pic.
  20. Hmmm...haven't thought of that; I assumed he meant some gadget on the outside of the frame. That's why I wish I had the gun in my hands--maybe I could get to the bottom of this.
