  1. Left-right it’s dead on. It throws a pretty dense pattern slightly high (maybe 60-40), but I used a Rob Roberts T3 choke. It turned a 20 ga. Affinity into a death stick. I’ll try to dig up a pic of the pattern board. I had to play with the included shims to bring my POI down to 60/40.
  2. I went duck hunting for the first time last year and bought a Franchi Affinity 3. I've been happy with it. I've seen the blue and wood version for $850-900 several times. Franchi is under the Beretta umbrella along with Benelli and Stoeger, so that may be a dealbreaker for you.
  3. I would be severely tempted if the option for an ambi safety existed.
  4. The short Lincoln Log pieces were my mortar rounds, which I launched from a Lincoln Log-made see-saw. One accurate shot could wipe out a whole platoon of green men.
  5. Way back in the day, I blew pretty much every penny I could find on model airplanes at TG&Y. WW2 fighters in 1/48 scale were my biggest weakness.
  6. I think I got that lunchbox in the 1st grade. I think technically four. Chargers, Raiders, Oilers moved and the Browns moved to Baltimore and became the Ravens. Then a new Browns team was started. It also sucked. ETA: make that five - the Colts were still in Baltimore.
  7. Hell daughters, you old codgers
  8. I would normally be there and set up one of the stages, but my daughter has a soccer game.
  9. I show up at TWRA every blue moon. I shoot more often at MSSA.
  10. The bad part is that the gangsters’ intended targets would be in much more danger if the gangsters used aimed fire instead spray-n-pray.
  11. Most of the whiz-bang micro-9s of recent years are just too small to be of much use to me. My if-I-win-the-lottery carry gun was a Wilson EDC X9 ever since they were introduced. I lucked into a used one at a price I couldn't turn down and it's now my all-time favorite carry gun.
  12. Bergara. Several hunter and semi-target versions can be found for under $1K. If I buy another deer rifle, it will be the Bergara Ridge.
  13. I don’t know anything about cardiac rehab and I hope to keep it that way. You sound like a trooper and I bet you bounce right back.
  14. I have bought 5 gallon buckets of cleaned (not processed) 9mm brass for $100 from a local guy in the past. I think a full 5 gallon bucket is 8-9000 cases. Yes, anybody can pick it up for free, but $100 to not pick up and clean 9000 cases was worth it to me. I still think you could sell it locally. Selling it online and having to ship it will complicate things.
  15. How much were you trying to get for the two five gallon buckets? Is it range pick-up or factory once-fired? There absolutely are reloaders who will buy it, processed or not. You can post it for sale in the Classifieds section if you buy a membership.
  16. I've fished Sardis many times. My favorite type of fishing there is trolling for crappie while casting with a UL spinning rig.
  17. I did too, but I saw today that it is actually supposed to be in theaters. I'll save $50 lol
  18. I recently won movie tickets from the local radio station and now there's finally something that looks worthwhile.
  19. Season 1 was awesome. I gave up midway through season 2.
