  1. I didn’t think BFG was available on gen 3
  2. Located in Murfreesboro. Must be a TN resident, wiling to flash ID. Given some recent experiences, please have at least a few positive transactions on this forum. All initial communications needs to be through IM- please don’t post, “interested, text/call me”. No trades. Picked this up in a trade around 2016. I have a few SCARs and really only shoot my 12”. I don’t recall the round count when I got it, but it was in great shape. I’ve put less than 1K rounds through it, and that estimate is probably on the high side. No major signs of wear, although the bottom of the handguard has some dings on it that obviously do not affect function. Rifle weighs a hair under 8 lbs with no mag. Includes: Surefire SOCOM flash hider (closed tine) installed- I can swap this for a SOCOM brake (no change in price), a BCM mod 0 comp (-$50 from price), Midwest industries compensator (-$65 from price), or A2 flash hider aka thread protector ($-100 from price) Geissele Super SCAR trigger Kinetic Development Group MREX2 6.5” handguard Parker Mountain Machine FDE front QD socket Parker Mountain Machine black rear QD socket GG&G angled charging handle Parker Mountain Machine safety levers, black, long and short, “Ergo” style I think Parker Mountain Machine Battery Control Device (similar to BAD lever) Parker Mountain Machine oversized mag button, black Magpul MOE+ FDE pistol grip, modified by Parker Mountain to fit SCAR Impact Weapons QD sockets in rear of stock (both sides) Original mag Original rails, safeties, trigger, charging handle, hardware (not pictured) cross-posted on ar15.com, they seem to be selling relatively quickly there. $2800
  3. One of the most under-rated shotguns out there. Memories… I used the SLP for 3 gun. Aside from a side saddle for slugs, it was ready to go out of the box. Lots of features for the buck. GLWS
  4. I actually thought about buying it back. This is a great gun.
  5. Yes, in the subject. There’s also a link to the new upper in the ad. Barrel is marked 5.56 1/7 4150 if that’s what you’re looking for.
  6. Tried updating pics and package in the last ad and screwed the whole thing up… Location is Murfreesboro off 840 and 24, priced as you come to me deals. No bill of sale, but must be 21, a Tennessee resident, and not a prohibited possessor. Not looking for trades and not looking to drive across Tennessee to sell it. Continuing to clean out the safe and get rid of stuff I’m not using. This one is duplicate-ish, so it has spent most of its life in the safe. Less than 100 rounds through barrel. Upper is a Stag factory built 16” “Tactical Nitride” lightweight 5.56 barrel (shoots .223 also) with an MLOK rail. BCG and CH did not come with the upper , but are included. BCG Nickel Boron, MPI tested, excellent shape, AIM Surplus. Standard charging handle. A2 flash hider. https://www.brownells.com/rifle-parts/receiver-parts/receivers/upper-receivers/stag-15-tactical-nitride-upper-sku100701022-138895-253139.aspx?avad=211021_b244d589d&aid=35987&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_source=Avantlink&utm_content=NA&utm_campaign=35987 Lower is a KE Arms KP-15 one piece polymer receiver. These are similar to the old Cav Arms receivers, but the 2020 edition that is way better. They’re lightweight and pass every torture test with flying colors. If you follow In Range or Forgotten Weapons, this is the lower made for the WWSD (What Would Stoner Do) project. Stock is A1 length. Trigger is a Larue Tactical flat 2 stage, retailing for around $120 these days. Trigger breaks around 3.5 lbs with a crisp reset. Slap an optic on it (as of this posting, I do have a Primary Arms red dot, mounts, and some Magpul and Aero flip ups available (but cross posted for sale elsewhere). $550
  7. What generation?
  8. I work a corporate job at a Nashville-based company overseeing a program for a large wireless carrier. I’ve been working here for 13+ years and moved to Tennessee from AZ 3 years ago for this particular role. Moving here was pointless since I decided to work from home in early ‘19, but do prefer TN over AZ.
  9. Agree on all points, however that’s not what that quack article says- not even close.
  10. You spreading this complete bull#### is the problem…not the “jabbed”.
  11. Too tempting. I’d have the gun for the mags in a week and I’d lose my mind not not selling off ammo I can’t shoot. Related to mags, one weird thing I do is justify a duplicate pistol purchase by pretending I’m paying for mags I would have bought for the other gun, anyhow. So a $425 Blue Label Glock with 3 mags is really 3 $25 mags I would have bought and a new $350 Glock. I don’t need a Glock, but a $350 Gen 5 Glock is a no-brainer...and I already have new mags for it.
  12. Agree. I miss the days of new $14.99 OEM. One of the first mags I bought was a NFML Glock “hi-cap” mag for $80 during the AWB in ‘03. I never want to be stuck in that situation again, so I stock up. Harder to do at $45 a pop.
  13. I sold all of my 509s earlier in the year. I’m also a Glock guy. Here’s what I didn’t like: Trigger. The factory FN trigger shoe is SLIPPERY. The factory trigger pull isn’t terrible, but my bony fingers always ended up at the bottom of the trigger guard and constantly adjusting. The Apex kit fixed that. Installation was a pain with that one pin. I actually snapped one and had to buy a $3 part with $8 shipping Mag prices- I think they are $40+ for mags. Recoil. Whenever I decide to get rid of a pistol series, I do a side by side comparison with a shot clock. I don’t remember the splits, but they weren’t great compared to Glock or CZ, however better than Sig (dumped those too). I think bore offset plays a role, but can’t confirm. With the Tactical, that dot was bouncing all over the place. I can run a red dot Glock as fast as I can pull the trigger. Other than that, the 509 was 100% reliable and my Tactical ran great with and without a comp. If you’re not fanatical about other platforms, you’ll be fine.
  14. Nomad doesn’t pin/weld, unfortunately. Any other suggestions?
  15. I’ve used ADCO in the past. Would prefer to just do this locally, however, I don’t want it to look like crap. I hate an ugly pin/weld job. Just looking to pin a Surefire SOCOM flash hider to a 14.5” barrel. Any suggestions? Would love Murfreesboro, but can shoot over 840 and go up 65.
  16. Just seeing this now. Funds sent. Merry Christmas and feel better. I’m also in your zip if you need a hand.
  17. I ended up abandoning this 22LR idea until I decide what I want to do and how often I want to do it. I suspect this ends with me shooting groups at 25 yards, so I probably should have just kept the TacSol X-Ring that I never shot and sold here. Will revisit at a later time.
  18. Used Royal Range. Their FFL is posted on the site. You just provide them the guy’s name that’s selling it to you and he sends a DL copy. Super easy. Thanks for the help. Benelli M1 Super 90 on the way.
  19. Oh wow, that’s my FFL. And it even says it on their site now. This is great. Thanks! FYI, Music City’s site says they do not allow private transfers: https://www.musiccitypawn.com/firearm-transfers Purchasing Company Name * Please list the name of the company for which you are ordering the firearm. NOTE: Music City Pawn will only facilitate transfers of online purchases from an FFL dealer. We do not accept online sales transfers from individuals without an FFL.
  20. Not sure if this is the right forum... Just looking for recommendations on any FFLs that accept incoming transfers from private parties (that include a DL copy). The few that I’ve talked to say they only accept incoming from another FFL. Nashville area, but include Franklin, etc I hate calling around and figured I’d try here first.
  21. Cheap 22NRL gun. I’m not cut out for door #1 and #2. Punching paper off a bipod with rear rest. Not sloppy semi auto plinking. Right now, my interest is in the CZ 457 Varmint Precision Trainer...which is probably junk compared to that “cheap” NRL22 gun. But even that CZ is $1K. Add scope and accessories, I’m really not that far away from $2K.
  22. Great questions. Spent some time on Rimfire Central and those dudes go DEEP in this. I thought I was interested in competition until reading over there. I’m realizing I’m not willing to take something that seriously right now. Pivoting. For the ONLY 22LR you could own for target shooting, plinking, and maybe some casual competition, what is the best bolt action option in that “higher end” category? Is that $1K? I do appreciate the offer for the call and I may take you up on it, but I think this idea just got much simpler and cheaper based on the reactions.
  23. Not sure are all, which is why I’m asking. I’ve been looking at $2K-3K base rifles (no optic) this morning with $1K-$2K optics, which is probably overkill. These guys are shooting FAR for a 22LR. I probably shouldn’t have sold my TacSol X-Ring without giving it a fair shot, but I really don’t like 10/22s that much for some reason.
  24. Fair point. I’d like the option to put my can on it, but if it’s going to just blow back carbon into a highly accurized barrel, then I can pass on that. I saw pics of some high end rifles with cans and (not knowing rimfire) figured there was some purpose to it.
