  1. Good guy to deal with.
  2. I’m looking for either a Shield 9 with thumb safety or M&P compact 9mm with thumb safety. Must have box, etc. I’m north of Nashville. Don’t want to drive too far. Thanks much.
  3. I appreciate it but need it dumbed down. Example: Granny Sue ( never arrested and no record) sticks a .38 in her purse and goes to Kroger. She has no carry permit of any kind. Is that allowed?
  4. Apparently I missed something. Does TN have it and what does it mean?
  5. Thanks
  6. Thanks everybody. I made a couple of recommendations based on what was suggested.
  7. I’m looking for a safe to recommend to somebody with small children but that will allow reasonably quick accessibility. Thanks much.
  8. Thanks much. That was very helpful.
  9. It has a 1943 Sako barrel with the SA mark. Repaired at the wrist with a screw and a force matched bolt. Overall decent condition and shoots very well.
  10. It’s just an M39. I’ll have to get details later like barrel maker later.
  11. What’s a fair price for a pre 1899 octagon receiver Finn now? I’m not looking to get absolute top dollar. I’m just looking for a reasonable price.
  12. They are the best MK of all. Not kidding.
  13. Very nice gun. Heavy. I sighted it in . Then I sold it. I just couldn’t figure out my need for it. Nice gun though.
  14. That stock jumped out immediately. No way that came from H and H.
  15. I have Tandemkross triggers in two MK III pistols and they were a definite improvement. My stock MK IV trigger is pretty good as is and I’m going to leave it as is. Sorry, that’s all I’ve got.
  16. Mine just went back to Keltec. Too many fail to extract and fail to eject problems. Other than that a very accurate and easy to like little gun.
  17. The Ruger Mark pistols are some of the toughest and most reliable .22 pistols ever made. Shoot on!
  18. I agree with KahrMan - don’t tape it. And while I’m not a collector with safe queens I wouldn’t shoot that one.
  19. I restated what I said above
  20. I think if Trump is re-elected the left will double down on their craziness. They have been emboldened by what they’ve gotten away with the last 4 years. Now, they’re going to be even angrier. So, I expect the market to remain unchanged for some time. Plan accordingly.
  21. We may have seen the end of an era of low gun prices and availability. I’m not optimistic about ever seeing it come back. Same for ammo.
  22. If you’re a poor man like me you just look for deals. But, right now you may have a hard time just finding stuff. Prices are up, too.
  23. I haven’t kept up on prices lately but for a long time 4 bills was common. And I meant the SKS was an equivalent type carbine. Arguably even better (sound of can of worms opening). The question was about a ranch gun. I couldn’t bring myself to carry a $1000 gun around in a 4 wheeler. Certainly not an original M1 carbine. An SKS or an old 30-30? No problem.
