Read this morning that the Supreme Court is hearing a 2nd amendment case this year. Let the commie BS begin. -
Welcome to Free America, We're refugees from the north east also.

nice looking knife. Sandvik makes great cutlery stainless I use a lot of their 12c27 steel. Has a nice grain structure and takes a good edge.

Wasn't a bad car, as long as you remembered to check the oil twice a day. A buddy of mine had a Baldwin Motion Vega with a small block in it, that was a fun car!!

Got my 365 last year around this time, wouldn't feed hollow points reliably. Sent it in to Sig, runs like a top now. Reliable accurate gun. I like a safety on my carry guns also.

Welcome to Tennessee and TGO. You must be talking about peconic river sportsmans club, ORSA is a much nicer facility, more ranges and much bigger. They don't have an elephant in the main house but the people are nicer.

U-Haul says TN saw the most one way rentals in 2020
aknifemaker replied to Erik88's topic in General Chat
Yes we are political refugees from New Yorkistan, started building last year, should be done soon. Price of the build went up by $40k from January of last year when we bought land to when we started building in July. Not just materials but trying to get crews in can be tough. -
more correctly the Flux Capacitor

Source for small diameter steel punches
aknifemaker replied to Quavodus's topic in Gunsmithing & Troubleshooting
MSC or McMaster are both good sources I would say Mcmaster has more American made items. When you speak to customer service ask and they will tell you who made the item Most pin sets don't go lower than 1/16. I have used gage pins, they come in .001 increments from .011 on up, don't know what your pushing out but you can buy them individually. -
good one

Yeah I started with readers years ago, need progressives now. This getting old stuff ain't all its cracked up to be.

I have one pistol with a red dot on it, cowitnessed with iron sights. It takes some getting used to but I think the visual reference of the iron sights helps to pick up the red dot quicker. The addition of a tritium fiber optic front sight ( truglo) makes a big difference. This is my usual carry setup.

Thanks for the responses I'm sure one of them will do the trick.

Really nice job, but never heard anyone say they needed a smaller hammer -
Went to see Jamie Johnson last night at Brushy Mtn. Was great to see a live show. Couple of beers, some good tunes, life is good!

Montana Grizzly Bear Notice: In light of the rising frequency of human/grizzly bear conflicts, the Montana Department of Fish and Game is advising hikers, hunters, and fishermen to take extra precautions and keep alert for bears while in the field. We advise that outdoorsmen wear noisy little bells on their clothing so as not to startle the bears that aren't expecting them. We also advise outdoorsmen to carry pepper spray with them in case of an encounter with a bear. It is also a good idea to watch out for fresh signs of bear activity. Outdoorsmen should recognize the difference between black bear and grizzly bear poop. Black bear poop is smaller and contains a lot of berry seeds and squirrel fur. Grizzly bear poop has little bells in it and smells like pepper spray.

QUESTION ABOUT OFFERING SERVICES TO FORUM MEMBERS
aknifemaker posted a topic in Feedback and Support
Question for staff or moderators. As my name on the forum says I am a knife maker. I currently am not able to make knives, no room in the rental home, but was thinking about offering a knife sharpening service to interested forum members (for pay). Am I able to do this? Is there another level of membership required? Don't want to run afoul of any rules. Thanks -
Knife sharpening recommendation
aknifemaker replied to Yard Dawg's topic in Knives, Lights, EDC Gear
look into Edge Pro system, not pro grade but good for DIY. Veritas compound and a nice piece of leather on a wooden block for polishing. If you want to go old school get a double sided Norton India Stone carborundum (coarse) and Aluminum Oxide (fine) and do it by hand. Lots of practice!! -
Real sorry for your loss. Makes it all the worse when the vet is an ahole. Lost our Maxine a few years ago to cancer. Got her for my wife as a birthday present, but she became my dog, 130 lbs of loyalty, affection and ferocity. Vet let us bring her home and came over the next day and put her down.

Thoughts...Recommendations... Observations Sass coach guns
aknifemaker replied to leroy's topic in Long Guns
I have a 12 gauge coach gun I'd be willing to sell. It has internal hammers, not sure of who made it, its crated up right now. If your interested will dig it out.
