  1. very slick, nice concept.
  2. Doesn't sound like your wife would be bike friendly, you love her spend your money on something else. People really don't look for bikes. Not so bad here, but in new york if you don't almost get run off the road once or twice a day must be something wrong.
  3. Once you get a bike you can get a hot girlfriend, then you can leave the bike at her house
  4. Went to Townsend yesterday, had some breakfast at the Pancake House then rode Foothills Pky to 129 before they close it next week. Stopped at the HD outpost for a while, lots of bikes and tons of cars coming off the Dragon. Nice day nice ride. I stay away from the Dragon on weekends.
  5. Ethanol and any internal combustion engine don't mix well. Add some sea foam, or other additive to the gas might be moisture also. Should always use fuel stabilizer before storing the bike.
  6. Nothing like riding back home in a snow storm young, dumb and full of c**m
  7. Just watched a review on the Fieldcraft channel, interesting concept.
  8. Well can't blame the cops too much, as the neighbor totally lied about the situation. At least they gave use a chance to surrender peaceably
  9. New York Story: Three of us are going to the range to do some shooting, pick first guy up no problem pull into last guys driveway we're loading guns and stuff into my truck. Four, that's 4 cruisers pull up, 6 cops get out with guns drawn. We're on the ground cuffed and my truck is being ransacked. One of the neighbors called the police evidently. My buddys wife sees this and calls her brother who happens to be a sargent he hauls ass over, saved our bacon for sure. All our weapons were legit nothing illegal, being transported in the proper NY way, cops left told us to be more carefull not a word of apology. That is one of the many reasons we now live in free America.
  10. Brand new never used folding stock from Sampson Manufacturing. As per their web page fits Mini 14 181-xxxxx and Mini 30 580-xxxxx and newer rifles. I purchased this new from Sampson decided not to use it ( you now those crazy impulse buys ) Asking $225, will ship at your cost. Maryville area.
  11. Nothing broken we were satisfied. Pretty simple move for them lots of boxes and some furniture. I actually moved all my stuff and machinery myself, right into the basement.
  12. We used 2 Men & a Truck on our move from Knox to Maryville, they did a good job, fairly priced I thought, they charge by the hour.
  13. We moved to Tn from NY back in 2019 and I rented a uhaul for the move. Had some friends help and hired a couple of guys from my job to load, and hired two guys (so I thought) off uhaul.com to unload in Knoxville. The cost was $300 for 2 hours. Since it took us all day to load the truck I asked this fellow, Rick was his name, if they would stay as long as needed to unload he said yes but assured me it wouldn't be necessary. In the morning a suburban pulls up in front of the house, and Rick and his 8 kids get out (boys and girls)! They were done in an hour it was amazing to watch!! Polite fast and efficient. I called him again last year to move us into our new home but he has a restaurant down in Polk county now, Jessica's Place and not doing that anymore. What can I say, Tennessee is GREAT!
  14. Yesterday was a nice day, we took the bikes out, $3.70 for hi-test WTF!!
  15. Didn't know tractor supply would do that, will look into it, thanks for the tip. The local welding supply will only exchange for like size tanks. 75/25?? don't follow
  16. For sale a 60lb. welding gas tank for inert gases only (tank is empty). If you need a spare tank this is it. Welding suppliers in my area don't stock 60lb. tanks so no exchange, they will refill but usually takes several days and its a bit of a trip (for me) back and forth two times. Tank is in great shape date of manufacture is 2015. Will sell for $100 or trade for ammo.
  17. There's Chilhowee Sportsman's Club also, they have an outdoor pistol range not sure if you can shoot steel plates. Welcome to Tennessee
  18. We used to go ice racing on Lake George in upstate NY, they had a portion of the lake plowed into an oval it was a blast!!
  19. Cross at the green not in between!
  20. Added new pictures and weekend bump.
  21. One last blade before the New Year, tried to get it done sooner but had other ones to do. Nice hunter for sale D2 blade and Micarta scales, comes with nice leather sheath. $135 shipped. The blade steel is D2, cryo heat treated to 59-61Rc, I feel the cryogenic process really makes a difference in the grain structure resulting in smaller grain size, better toughness and a slight increase in hardness. Holds a good edge but takes a little more work to sharpen. Knife is 8 3/4' long with a 4 1/2" blade, 5/35 thick. Handle is black/green Micarta nicely contoured to fit the hand. Comes with a nice leather sheath which I make. All work is done by me. D2 is not a stainless steel so you need to wipe the blade clean and dry after use. I can say that a good D2 blade really holds its edge. We were lucky enough to shoot two bears the same weekend at our hunting camp and I skinned both of them without resharpening the knife. None of them were even mine!
