  1. I could do that for you, send me a picture.
  2. Happy Thanksgiving to all
  3. When you can feel that cold air blowing into the house makes you real motivated to stop those leaks
  4. Nothing like doing insulation when its cold out, you seal up every nook and cranny!!
  5. If you would like a knife I can make one for you, these are sold Shoot me a PM
  6. ALG trigger, White Oak Armament sells them, real nice trigger. Can't remember which one I got not a big difference in price.
  7. Our prayers to the family, a terrible situation.
  8. Friends of mine had a Doberman since it was a puppy was 5-6 years old at the time, it went to attack his wife one day. She was able to get into the bathroom and close the door before she got bit, dog tore up outside of door pretty bad. When her husband got home dog was laying on the floor all happy to see him like nothing happened.
  9. That's a cool setup didn't know they made a stand for it worked great. I had one of those bauer saws and welded up my own stand for it. Sold it off when I got a nice old Rockwell. Someone should snap this up!
  10. Have to read up on it some more, maybe just do the form 1 for the pistol. Thanks for the reply's
  11. Guess I'm going to have to SBR my pistol cause its not the same without the brace, thanks ATF. Can any one recommend a lawyer in the Maryville area to help set up a NFA trust? Might as well go for a suppressor too. Its form 1 for the sbr and form 4 for the suppressor? Thanks in advance.
  12. They used to have an aluminum body under that rubber sleeve. We use to mount them on compound bows to shoot coyotes at night, no issues with the lights failing.
  13. That's very true if I were buying one now would probably get the carbine, the Charger without the brace is not the same weapon.
  14. I have the PC charger version, its fun to shoot. It will hit torso sized steel out to 100 yds with boring regularity.
  15. As a refuge from New Yorkistan I am very grateful we now live in Tennessee. I was looking at this law they passed in NYS and it is so vague and broad its hard to tell what is what. A friend of mine passed several years ago and had an AR-15, which had to be registered. NYS law prohibits his wife from having the rifle ( its a felony) !! It now resides in Tennessee.
  16. Yamaha is a good brand also. I had a Bear Tracker (2wd) for 20 years changed the lubricants every year not one problem. Couple of the guys had Kodiaks, no issues either. One Polaris in the group, fixing it every other weekend. Most of the outfitters we used had Hondas or Yamahas. Keep the Hog look into a used machine.
  17. I grew up with and prefer Hammer fired, but my EDC is striker fired, go figure. There is just more of a selection of nice small EDC striker fired guns available now, so as long as the gun works and shoots well no big deal. I do like an external safety though other than that trigger thing.
  18. Hard to tell from the pictures both it looks like both rifles have A2 type flash hiders, top slotted, bottoms solid. That uneven pressure at the muzzle can open up your groups also. Easy enough to take one off and see if it changes anything.
  19. Just finished, nice hunting knife 4 1/2" blade, 9" overall length. Hollow ground blade is 5/32" thick made out of Sandvik 12c27 stainless.Hardened and cryo tempered to 59-60Rc its sharp and should hold a keen edge. Its a good shape for general game prep, camp chores. Handle is Tennessee Black walnut. Comes with a nice handmade leather sheath. Price: $160 shipped Thanks for looking.
  20. I have a touring bike, and had like 50lbs in the tour pack. Load it up and try it around the neighborhood see how it feels. If the front feels light put all the guns and ammo in the front bag!!
  21. That's a good idea. A paring knife is what led to this chef's knife actually. My neighbor helped me out a bunch of times and he likes to cook and mentioned he needs a good paring knife so I made one as a gift. He liked it so much he commissioned this chef's knife from me. For several years I was making Carving sets, sold some around the holidays. Thanks for all the kind comments.
  22. Just finished this 8" Chef's knife for one of my neighbors I think they will be happy. The steel is Damasteel RWL-34 stainless. Knife is 13 1/2" long, 2" wide blade and.100 of an inch thick. Tempered to 58-59Rc. Razor sharp edge, used it last night to chop up some veggies for dinner. I have to make sure it cuts! Handle is double black Micarta, nicely shaped to fit the hand, should last forever. Knife case is kydex. Just started some hunting knives, will have a few for sale on the forum. Season will be here soon. All work done by me in my shop, as always.
