  1. You might well want to look at REI and Campmor befor you purchase anything. They may have best selection and/or price.
  2. This is a good example why it pays to mention general area of the stte when making an inquiry. It is 535 miles from Memphis to Trade Tennessee for example.
  3. Find some nice soft 0.458-0.461", 300-425 grain lead bullets (slug the barrel to find out which diameter) and push them at a sedate 1000-15000fps and you will find a point where POA to equal POI. Also likely to make the gun a lot more fun to shoot. Just an opinion of course and we all know about opinions.
  4. I have been told that limited service in SF was good for an officers career and any more and it may hurt ones promotions. Soldiers/NCOs not sure, but I suspect that they probably respect SF for who/what they are. I think the only goal of the clintonistas was to weaken the armed forces any way possible. Remember the monica hats they stuck the army with to diss SF and Rangers and provide a 95% disfunctional piece of headgear, clintonsheki's orders to contrary or not. Whizzy bang technology in airpower or surveillance are good but do not fully substitute for brave men on the ground.
  5. So, if one were looking for their very own TGO hat, then they would go . . . .???
  6. A coworker may want to try shooting while we are in G'burg for a meeting last week of April. I see there is an indoor range in Sevierville area. Hopefully we can get in. Anything in the area if we just want to do some FamFire with 22 pistol/rifle, MAYBE a CZ82 in 9X18??
  7. Mak ammo. A case of Wolf at Cheaper than dirt costs more than loose boxes of Brown Bear and Brown Bear shoots where I point and goes off every time. J&G was cheaper, but it is always easy to be cheap when there is no ammo in stock. Ok, Mak ammo is new to me ( reload for everything else I shoot) where can I find 500-1000 rounds?
  8. make wheel weights look a whole lot like shiny silver bullets, but they are really BOOLITS. 22 to 458
  9. Middle TN covers a lot of territory, but you may want to talk to Charles H. and see what he thinks about hosting something at the range on Owl Hollow Road. I have no idea what the name of it is now.
  10. SOOOOOOOOO . . . . The proper response is to contact your legislators and tell them you do NOT want a 2500 dollar fine (as currently proposed), you want carry permit listing removed from Tennessee Open Records Act. Accessible by law eforcement only
  11. Wow, carry permit holders can rest assured that the 2500 dollar fine is going to prevent anyone from making the list available to the public. As your Representative and Senator to support the provision that carry permit listing is NOT subject to TN Open Records rule, that it be available for law enforcement personnel only.
  12. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Story?id=6960824&page=1 How many of us had folks in washington to vote this guy in? TN certainly had a couple of chickens---t dumba---es vote to confirm him and the other scum sucking dogs into cabinet positions!
  13. years ago. Then a Herter's U press, Then 85 or so and still a Redding. For volume I use a Dillon 550 I have some presses in reserve if the Redding ever fails me. I tried to get a backup 550, but someone recognized the great deal a couple of minutes before me.
  14. I am Louis, live in Middle middle Tennessee. Love to shoot cast lead boolits and once in a while send a funny coated one or two down range.
  15. If not for him this information would be blocked and this information would be private and NOT subject to TN open records law. Think that will be reintroduced in legislature this year.
