I understand that! I have committed to myself to not have or keep safe queens. I either just won’t buy it or will sell or trade one if it becomes that. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

9mm Mak. I don’t find it to be bad at all in terms of recoil. Seems to me to be easier than 9mm Luger. However shooting a Polish P64 is a bit more exciting. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I can only compare Bulgarian to East German. Function is smoother and tighter on the EGs I have used compared to the Bulgarians and when in unmolested condition the EG finish is nicer. Generally I like the size/weight/balance of the Mak as well as the fixed barrel. And I like the price points on them. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I had read somewhere that these grips were what some were imported with but I cannot recall where I read that. I put some original German grips back on the 1960 after that photo was taken. The thumb rest grip pictured is comfortable though. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I haven’t shared anything here in a while so let’s change that! I recently had the opportunity to add these 2 to my collection. And I look forward to finding more as they are really growing on me! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It is a tough calling for sure but can also be a rewarding too once the race has been run. My wife and I are also involved in a situation that could develop into one like the one you are facing. I would add a couple things: 1. I happen to work for a national company that provides exactly the type of care you are talking about. I will PM a contact closer to you to speak with. They may not be able to serve Newport but they can answer that and regardless can be a good resource for information on options, programs, etc in East TN. 2. Seek out family caregiver support groups via churches, facilities, etc. You all need the support they can provide you. 3. One funding option that might apply, and that very few know about, is for veterans and surviving spouses, and is called the Aid and Attendance benefit. Like anything with the government it involves a slow application process and it is income and asset based. Worth looking at potentially! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

You could be like me and be primarily attracted to C&R stuff. Then you would find it a little less tempting...but only a LITTLE!!![emoji41] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

...Hit send too fast. If you like golf the course up at Kenlake State Resort is ok and there are some courses around Murray that are ok too. Lots of mini golf. I am not a fisherman but the fishing is generally good and you can get some local advice on where currently. The Homeplace at LBL is interesting too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

From my last trip. This was after one round of comparing my k31 with a couple Finns. I shot the k31 better when it was all said and done that particular day! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk -

I am pretty certain even if the deal for the K11 carbine works out this week I will want to check out a long rifle eventually as well. It may be 2018, but I think it will end up happening. I think I like the genre! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I might have a line on a K11 so maybe I can add that one to the fold and compare it against the K31 and the Finns. The Finns might still have some fight left in them so the comparison may not be over just yet! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I can't complain too much about last season. It was my first ever deer season and I put one in the freezer. I am anxious this season about having a place to hunt but at the same time I have seen 2 sizable 8 pointers among others right behind my house. So maybe I can get at least one in the freezer again this season. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I don't currently have one. I did have one at one time, and it did shoot well for sure. At this point I will likely hold out and keep my eyes open for a Finn marked one. I need to add another caliber like I need an extra hole in my head! Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
