  1. Sorry for you loss.  We lost one of our "family" about 2 years ago.  Sometime we think he is still here..
  2. I’m not sure how it is now, but years ago in Florida, we had to show proof of insurance when we got our tags.  If the insurance was canceled before the tag expired we got a letter in the mail telling us we had to surrender our tag.
  3. Razorback... As bad as I hated to, I voted for Haslam also. The main reason for me was if a senator is removed from office, or dies, then the governor appoints a person to take their place. The governor will select from his/her own party. I'm tired of the unbalance of power. We need a balance of power in Washington. 1gewehr... I feel the same way you do... They all say what they think you want to hear when running... No, I did not vote a straight party ticket.
  4. I love my SOG Visionary 1. Just right....
  5. WOW!! I will check the 3 branches I bank at sometime this week. We have several business and personal accounts with Regions. If they are posted I will inform them I will be moving our accounts. UPDATE: Kingston, Cedar Bluff & Park West are posted.... Oh well... It will take a little while to get everything moved... But that is our goal.. It ain't much but it's ours....
  6. I understand that it's a tool and have been carying for a while. (Yes there is some wear.) I keep the tools in my shop from wearing when I can so I figure I should do the same with this one. Also, if I have to sale anything I'd like for it to look as good as possible. I've never used Kydex and was just asking.....
  7. I do like the Bass Pro shirts. I carry OWB or IWB with those untucked all the time. Like I said in the earlier post, its my after work summer-time carry I would like to modify. I usualy have to carry in my pocket because I don't like to have a wrinkled shirt tail if I untuck and, to me, a cover shirt in the summer looks funny.
  8. How is the wear on the gun finish with Kaydex? What type holster has the least wear on a gun? I know if they are lined they don't wear as bad.
  9. OK. In the cooler months it's easy to wear a cover shirt. I work inside and usually wear a long sleeve shirt tucked. However, when off work and running errands with the long sleeve shirt on, what would be the best way to cover? Even if wearing a short sleeve shirt, it would seem odd to wear another shirt over the one I have on in 95 degree weather. This may have already been "covered" and I have just not seen the thread. I have several holsters where you can tuck your shirt in and they do ok if I put the holster on at the house. How does everyone cover in the summer when dressed casual?
  10. I have had my Visionary 1 for a couple of months now. It is fantastic. I can open and close it with one hand. Use my thumb on the stud like shooting a marble and it clicks open fast. One finger and my thumb in the pocket while one finger pulls up on the clip. It's out and open soooo fast.
  11. I have been looking for some time now. We were at the Knife Works in Sevierville to look at a Flash 2 and one of the salesman carried a Visionary 1. I tried his and was sold. I should get my new SOG Visionary 1 this week. The Visionary 2 was good but the Visionary 1 was much easier for me to open with one hand.
  12. 98% of the stuff my wife and I ship is via USPS. Lots in the flat rate boxes or envelops. Never had a problem even during the holidays... We will ship FedX and UPS if requested but it usualy cost 2x - 3x more. (Except years ago when I sent a credit card payment overnight. I received it back almost 7 months later. Seems to have gotten stuck in a bag somwhere.)
  13. OH NO!! Not another XDm.... Dang.... <LOVE my XDms>
  14. Rev - I agree 100%. They would use the argument that it was posted on a GUN OWNERS site.. Anti-gun folks don't always read, use or quote all the facts. They pick and choose what they want to report...
  15. My thinking is that if everyone OC there is the huge possibility of a backlash. Yes, everyone would see how many average citizens have HCPs. Imagine 15 people walking into McDonalds or another restaurant OC. I'll bet signs would go up in places we have not seen them. I'll also bet there would be more people calling for more restrictions on HCPs. By the time pictures of everyone who OC came out in the paper, and the numbers of people who have HCPs are printed along with those pictures... Watch out... Don't poke the bear.... (Sorta' like not calling attention to the wrong signage or demanding to know why there is a sign.) Just thinkin'....
