  1. No. Good. Well heck then; let me try to explain, maybe others will jump in and help. This country was founded on Christian morals and beliefs. that’s not opinion; that’s fact. However, that is something very different than legislating or giving preference to any religion. There is nothing in our history or our Constitution that bans anything based on religion. Separation of Church and State has to do with oversight and procedures. It doesn’t mean that the Federal government can’t recognize God, the Bible, or institute religious holidays. The same amendment that keeps religion from being forced on people by the government, also allows people to openly chastise others when they make statements about religion they don’t like. To you it’s a “feel good” gesture. To many others it’s something far more than that; and well worth the cost.
  2. I couldn't pass it up. So I put it back in my cart and placed the order. Should be here tomorrow.
  3. Thanks for that info. I had never even heard of that. I added it to the list because it is in modern production, and I think it deserves consideration. But it’s also at a price I really can’t justify for a .22 target, and if I could I think I’d have to go with the S&W Model 41.
  4. Exactly. But you are going to see a lot of folks willing to change. You are witnessing a big change in handgun optics. A lot of companies are putting big bucks into the development of these small, extremely sturdy, red dots that can take the abuse of carry, or eventually even of Police Duty Weapons. Yeah, Yeah, I know there are some cops using them already, but they aren’t mainstream yet. In a couple of years, they will be even tougher. And they won’t be $400 (Shield RMSc used on Hellcat samples); they will be $100. The optic in the Hellcat isn’t built in; you have to buy it. It was test samples went out with them already installed. The Vortex Venom, Viper or the Burris Fastfire, you can catch on sale for $200 now. I’m sure it won’t be long before reasonably priced models are available by many handgun manufacturers. These sub compacts are belly guns; they don’t even need sights. But some very good marketing people are giving folks what they want. It’s technology; you can’t stop it. Lead, follow, or get out of the way.
  5. Only if they don't agree with who We the People elected.
  6. Well he is obnoxious, but so are both of us, you more than me, but that aside, I thought if you were going to pretended to be an expert at something… like a defense attorney in shooting cases, you would have had to actually successfully defended people in those type cases. But apparently, I set my standards too high. It should be criminal for clowns like him, and others, to be spouting off about what people should do or shouldn’t do after a shooting when they have no track record or experience in the real world. He’s academia and the other academics can’t wait to have him speak at their classes. It’s like one of them telling you what it’s like to be in a shooting. If you are going to have a conversation about what its like to be in a shooting; it probably should be with someone that has been in a shooting. There are plenty of those folks around.
  7. Not the same building.
  8. And chest. "They" is the attorney for the family handling the civil case.
  9. That guys a clown. Why in the world would the NRA be sending him a personal email about re-alignment and capable leadership?
  10. Maybe. But not enough to imply he was killed because he was going to testify in a civil case against the city. There isn’t anyone personally effected enough either at the City or at the PD to care enough to kill someone.
  11. Good for you. It is appropriate that a pastor would drink a Bourbon called Angel's Envy. (I think)
  12. I hope not, I know something about Hillary. I just wondered where you were going with that. Good to know you think it has absolutely nothing to do with this case.
  13. What valuable information do you think got Botham Jean's neighbor assassinated?
  14. They use both. But the FBI know the criminal record is not him, so does the TBI. It’s not free because it’s a way for them to make money. They justify it by showing a high number of denials. I’m not sure what they are doing with these numbers, but it appears to me their denials are overturned far more than half the time. That isn’t something to be proud of. Here is what their web site shows for 2018. Yearly (2018)Totals (TICS) Yearly Total Transactions Started This year 486,299 1) Currently Approved 465,529 2) Currently Denied 7,257 3) Currently In Process and Appealed as of 1/4/2019 13,513 4) Currently Conditional Proceed 3,478 5) Currently Sustain Denial 2,114 6) Currently Overturned 7,685 7) Currently Appeal In Process 236 Total w/Denial History as of 1/4/2019 (2 + Total Appealed) 20,770 % Total w/Denial History that were Appealed as of 1/4/2019 (Total Appealed / Total w/Denial History) 65.06%
  15. Now that we know what the gun is and that it is rated for +P I would change my vote to this... Federal Hydra Shok +P LE 129 Grain 50 round box P38HS1G https://www.sgammo.com/product/federal/50-round-box-38-special-p-federal-hydra-shok-le-129-grain-ammo-p38hs1g It’s tough to find any 50 round boxes locally, they usually carry the 20 round box with crazy pricing. I order mine online from whoever has the best deal at the time.
  16. I hope that works for you. If not; I’d ask to speak to a supervisor. When I had my problems they only had one person, because she was off with an injury and I had to wait. That’s messed up also. Your date of birth and his is not the same and your SS number is not the same. If that is an undisputed fact (and it should be); this should be a non-issue.
  17. Here is who they think you are... https://www.usatoday.com/story/gameon/2012/10/18/tennessee-fan-robs-walmart-gambling-debt/1641425/
  18. This... https://www.hornady.com/ammunition/handgun/38-special-158-gr-xtp#!/
  19. I don't have mine anymore. So, haters don't have to hate.
  20. Oh, trust me I know; I’ve been thought it with the TBI. They were of no help at all. Believe it or not it was the BATF that told me what the problem was and how to fix it. I did what they told me and haven’t had any issues since. But mine wasn’t an ID issue; I truly was the criminal they thought I was. Hope you get it straightened out.
  21. Unless you are in Utah, he can’t marry you both. He is going to have to pick one or the other. I have no idea where you can get that bottle of liquor.
