  1. I find I’m using Facebook more and more, because so much information isn’t on web sites anymore. That doesn’t seem like a good practice to me for a business, but I guess that’s their call. I guess I could do the research, but someone here probably already knows, and is willing to share their knowledge. I thought I read somewhere that they don’t allow selling firearms on there; even though I guess it’s done?? Do they restrict firearms and ammo discussion? I don’t have an Instagram account. Am I going to need one of those also?
  2. I am going to make the assumption that a 61 year old woman is not going to want to go to training classes and spend the time to be proficient with an AR. If I’m wrong about that I apologize. I wouldn’t put her in an AR for a house gun. Not unless she is going to train with it and make sure she can make it fire when it needs to, and safe when it needs to be. One gun could probably do all three jobs, but I might go with two. A 4” 686 or a GP100 (A full size 4” 357Mag Revolver). I have many firearms and a 686 is my headboard gun. No safeties, No magazines, No jams, No misfires, the original point & click interface. I then have several semi-auto handguns laying around in case I need them. For carry…whatever she likes, and will carry, in a respectable caliber. As far as holsters go there is a woman on YouTube that has a bunch of videos that specifically deal with holsters for women and how they dress. Maybe someone here knows who I’m talking about; if not I’ll see if I can find it. Go with her to the classes and the range or find someone that will. She probably won’t go much by herself.
  3. Maybe the “kid” didn’t understand what “out the door” means and the owner will straighten him out. Their prices look pretty darn good. Unless that Springfield M1A is a lot rougher than it looks in that picture; $1050 is a whole bunch less than the prices I see being asked for used. They sell for $1500 new. So that rifle is priced right for used . That Beretta APX is $525 online price new. So $375 out the door on used is where it should be. I don’t think they were trying to mark that M1A as a Garand. I think they were trying to let you know what a GRAND deal it is.
  4. Is someone in your shop doing hydrographics?
  5. Picked it up today. The FFL I decided to use closed for 2 weeks for renovation without putting it on their web site. The double action trigger is definitely safe. I actually think I could hang it off my belt by the trigger and not have to worry about it. But I knew that when I ordered it. I haven’t had a small gun recently that I felt comfortable putting it in a jacket pocket without a holster covering the trigger, to walk the trash out to the curb or go to the mailbox; I do now. It only came with one mag; supposed to be two. Guess I’ll find out if PSA or SCCY will take care of that. EDIT: I just noticed in the description that this is a “special” deal and only includes one mag. So much, for me not paying attention. My wife says I do that to her all the time….. shes right.
  6. 9MM? Wow someone messed that up?
  7. Does that price tag say 1099.00? Is that American dollars?

  9. Aww man, why did they have to do that? Up until now I have had zero desire to own a Glock. How much is it?
  10. They have Machine operator and QC Tech positions for Maryville for 2nd and 3rd shifts on Indeed. I would assume that means they are staffed on 1st.
  11. Its hard to tell, but it looks like there might be a mount to the boat that is blocked by his head in the first picture? Surely that isn’t just laying there. But that’s a big azz gun!
  12. Prior to the last election I thought any civil uprising of any scale was ridiculous. It would be put down not only by our Police and Military, but by our Patriots. However, prior to the last election I would have never thought possible a run with the likes of Bernie Sanders for President with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as his Vice President. Think about that possibility.
  13. Olanda Kloppers, Miss South Africa
  14. Here is what I use when I use my laptop at home, it helps..... https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/9751031/LG-315-LED-LCD-Monitor-32MP58HQP/?cm_mmc=PLA-_-Google-_-Monitors-_-9751031&ds_rl=1256068&gclid=Cj0KCQjw6KrtBRDLARIsAKzvQIGGdY_xIvWYLPmzNXVjN88fhqHOO1QZV-JilrdqEMKC4m9m2-tv_RwaAoKHEALw_wcB&gclsrc=aw.ds
  15. I saw the video of this shooting for the first time today. I don’t know how I missed it before or when it was released but I don’t think I have ever seen and heard a video show a murder so clearly. It’s amazing to me this guy got acquitted. But I’m pretty sure his gun inscriptions pail in comparison to what he says and does in the video. I won’t link it here because it is graphic. But if you want to see it the title is “Body-Cam Video Of Daniel Shaver Shooting”.
  16. My tractor has a cup holder and air conditioning, GPS, AM/FM/DVD/Sirius, Phone, TV, and toilet.
  17. The trap is 10" wide 12" tall 32" long
  18. This is what I found this morning, I figured this would happen. I have a large Pecan tree in my backyard. The groundhog I was trying to catch was sitting off to the side eating nuts and watching the show.
  19. FTFY.
  20. Can you drive up and park where you will be shooting, or do you have to park in a lot and hump everything in? (Mainly asking about rifle ranges)
  21. The Nyclad was just to help prevent leading. Cleaning prevents leading. I mean…it’s a 1 7/8” Airweight; its not like it’s a range gun…. right?
