I had botulism when I was in the service and they told me I could die from it. . Its one of those things that make you absolutely sure you aren’t 10 foot tall and bullet proof. What do you need help with?

I have no idea, I don’t try to troubleshoot them; they just go back. But I had trigger issues with one of my M&P’s. It also went back twice. All my previous M&P’s had LEO SKU’s and I never had anything this bad. This was a PERFORMANCE CENTER M&P9L PRO SERIES C.O.R.E., the trigger was terrible. After I sent it back the first time and they sent it back saying it was acceptable, I wrote a real letter to the President of S&W and the Firearms Director and mailed them. Within a few days, probably the day the letters arrived; I got a call from a S&W Customer Service rep. He said he had just left the Firearms Directors officer and he was told to fix the problem. He told me he had talked to the head of the PERFORMANCE CENTER and to send the gun back and that I didn’t even have to put a letter with it; just put ATTN: his name on the outside of the box. I did, and I got it back with nothing done. What did I learn? I learned that he was an azzhat and wanted to show me who was boss. Every company has some worthless lowlifes working for them and unfortunately this time I found one of theirs. If that gun was ever in the PERFORMANCE CENTER it was on a cart passing through. I put a full Apex Trigger in it and called it a day. It was a lot better, but I didn’t think it was worthy of all the hype. Since then I bought a standard M2 Compact 4" 40S&W. It had a much better trigger than the PERFORMANCE CENTER, PRO SERIES. Maybe your friend will have better luck finding a CS rep that wants to do their job than I did.

I buy American made when I can; in guns you always can. That may not make a difference to you. The only American made you have in that group is the M&P. I have several of those in various models and calibers. I just bought the new M&P M2.0 Compact 4” in 40S&W. It’s a little smaller than the full size, a little bigger than my 40C, but will use it’s own 13 round mags or the 15 round mags from my full size. I got it from Buds for $334 plus a transfer. They still have it on sale. It makes a great home defense/Car gun, range gun, or carry gun if you are okay with carrying something that big. It’s the most versatile of all the M&P models. For a more concealable carry gun I have an M&P Shield. Not much of a range gun; but that’s not what it was designed for.

I had to have the windshield replaced in my Silverado. They assured me their aftermarket was the same as OEM. First try, there was no tint at the top on their glass. Second try they sent a guy out that tinted it. It was a strip of tint all the same shade; no gradual change, looked terrible. Third try they got an OEM and put it in.

There is one on eBay that ends in an hour and 45 minutes. What you are looking for is leupold 110802. Looks like you are out of luck with Leupold on silver unless you want Cerakote. I had a hard time finding a Gloss Black Leupold to put on a Walnut Model 70 Super Grade. Good luck with your search.

They are illegal in some states. The BATF has said they are legal; but keep in mind these are the same guys that said a bump stock was legal. I think the FEDS will follow suit. Enjoy it while you can.

Anything’s possible. I had a brand-new Shield that would fail to feed on the 2nd round in both of the new mags that came with it. Clear it and it would finish the mag just fine. I only ran 4 or five mags though it. What I saw was unacceptable. They sent me a shipping label and told me to send it in. The shipping instructions said don’t ship the mags back; so, I didn’t. They sent it back with paperwork that said they replaced the extractor and polished the feed ramp. They didn’t send any new mags. It has not failed since.

Its only 40 miles from Tallahassee, FL. GA must have given them some incentive to cross the state line.

I’m not sure how I feel about all this. FOX constantly has stories about how Google and Facebook discriminate against conservatives. Do we want the government to tell private companies, apps, and forums what they can and can’t allow? Its legal for you to sell a gun (although you would need an FFL if you were doing it as a business), or sell spots in your training class. But what if they don’t want you doing that on their platform? We have this forum, GB, GOC, AL. The feds already tell them (and us) what they can and can’t do with firearm sales Do we want the Feds telling them what they can and can’t do with their sites?
