You are welcome. Basically you just need to decide if you want a laptop or desktop. Portability is good, but has consequences, only pick that if you want to travel with your PC, knowing that you are giving up the ability to swap out most components. You may be able to use the monitor you have with a desktop or a laptop, either one. What type connections does your monitor have? Desktops could have any or all of these. Most new (but not all) laptops will only have HDMI.
  2. Ha, Ha, that’s funny. Funny that anyone would want an HS Produkt over a Sig.

Here’s a Lenovo for $486.00, just add a monitor and you are GTG. This deals ends in 16 hours. i5-8400 Processor, Windows 10 Home, 8.0GB RAM, 1TB 7200 RPM Hard Drive, DVD Recordable drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 2GB graphics, Keyboard,USB Optical Mouse,WiFi Wireless LAN Adapters + Bluetooth® 4.1, https://www.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops-and-all-in-ones/ideacentre/700-tower/Ideacentre-720-Intel/p/99IC9720272
  4. Exactly. I do not believe for one second any insurance policy is going to pay if you commit a criminal act. No one has ever needed bond money unless they were arrested for a crime. I want to hear from the customers they have that have arrested and charged with crimes, what happened to them, and how much the insurance paid. I wouldn’t make my choice with only a couple of cases they have cherry picked where someone may have been arrested on weapons charges and then the charges dropped, or never filed. And if I’m getting my legal advice from someone that is touted as the best criminal defense attorney on defending shooting cases; I would want him to have actually have successfully defended some shooting cases. Wouldn’t you?

SSD drive prices are dropping a eventually they will be he norm. Right now you have to make a choice, size and speed vs. cost. I never turn my PC off; so start-up is a non-issue for me; it might be for you. 256 and 512GB SSD drives are fine if you don’t need a bunch of storage space. I want a 1TB minimum hard drive for redundancy. I split it and run Acronis to image my OS and save all my files. If my OS or a program screws up; its an easy fix. If my hard drive goes out, I’m covered by an external hard drive. To change that drive from a 1TB SATA to a 512 SSD is $147 to a 1TB SDD is $343. An XPS with a SATA hard drive is going to start fast. A SSD might start a few seconds faster. Other than startup; you aren’t doing anything that can take advantage of the speed of a SSD. Pixelization, resolution and font appearance won’t be an issue on any modern Windows 10 quality computer; especially on a big monitor. Now…. if you want to jump in here and say “I might want to play games.” This whole thread changes and so do the prices.

They will. You will probably not see any better deals than you will see in the next 3 weeks. But if you see a good deal on what you want, don’t sit on your hands trying to decide, it won’t be up long; order it. They usually switch their deals every couple of days. They (like everyone else) will be offering some killer deals to keep everyone from waiting until black Friday or Cyber Monday. Also, don’t forget Dell has a 30 day price guarantee for the exact same thing ordered online.
  7. I haven’t got one in my hands yet, but I would guess the Ruger Wrangler is going to put Taurus/Heritage in a fight for survival.

I wouldn’t buy an all in one. The laptop is a good idea if you travel and want to take it with you, if you don’t; stick with a desktop. The desktop gives you the most ability and serviceability. If a component goes out, or you need to change something; it’s very easy to do so. Since you don’t need the fast video of a gaming machine; you shouldn’t need to spend a lot. But don’t base your choice on price or what’s on sale. People like to rip on Dell, but they own this market. (Midrange and small business PC’s) They are the Glock of the computer market. They aren’t the best and they aren’t the cheapest, but if you want the same thing everyone else has, and something that’s reliable; Glock….errrrr Dell is your product. Dell is a quality product, I have owned many and own several right now. But the Dells sold in BestBuy and the others are not the same as what you order online. I would order a Dell online; it just doesn’t get any better than that in the price range you will be in. I run a Desktop as my main PC and a laptop as my business programming PC because it needs to be portable. I use 24” and 26” monitors on my Desktop and a 32” on my laptop. You can get a 32” monitor for around $169 on sale. If you don’t do anything but surf the net and get email; you don’t need to spend a bunch. For example, you will have to decide between i5 and i7 Intel processors. an i7 will bump the price $200 over an i5 and you won’t see any difference for what you are doing. As far as the Lenovo, I don’t have any experience with their desktops, but I just replaced my Dell work laptop with a Lenovo. I run software that requires specialized graphics. Because of that in a Dell I had to go to a “Workstation” laptop that was $1600. Lenovo was about the same on price vs. specs. But when I emailed back and forth with them the quoted me a “sale price” of $1050. So I ordered it. I’ve only had it about three weeks, but its very nice; we shall see. Here is an example to start with. XPS is not their most expensive desktop, but it’s no slouch either. Intel i5, 8GB ram (+16 Optane), 1TB hard drive, for $681. As you can see, you can change the specs to most anything you want; all it takes is money. That price does not include a monitor (You will probably be getting that 32" somewhere else) or I don’t think it includes keyboard and mouse. https://www.dell.com/en-us/member/shop/desktop-computers-all-in-one-pcs/xps-desktop/spd/xps-8930-desktop/xdvmstcs007s
  9. Being a Nationalist is color blind. Being a White Supremacist is not. However, being a Nationalist means you support your country above others, and the security of your country is paramount. It’s a shame the left is too stupid to understand what would happen to them if all the Nationalists were gone.
  10. They are the first place I check with when buying ammo. I buy it when its on sale at a good discount. But I couldn’t justify a $95 a year buyers club fee. .
  11. From Wikipedia... It appears the thing to do is just accuse them of being a haven for Nazi’s. So they banned some Nazi groups. The far left thinks of gun owners as Nazi’s. So if this site comes close to becoming the cash cow FaceBook is; will they ban gun owners, or gun conversations? This statement really bothers me. I am a Nationalist, and happen to be white….and old (Being old seems to matter to the squad). I am not a racist but the left thinks if they call Nationalists racists instead of the Patriots many of them are; that’s okay. That’s not okay.
  12. Good question. I suspect the liberal left would call it a white supremacist web site and call for a boycott of any business that advertised on it. Just like with the President, if they don’t agree with you, they will make stuff up. Stuff so outlandish the average person would see it for the non-sense it is. But that won’t matter.
  13. Still no Groundhog. You guys gonna eat this guy also?
  14. Then I assume they will refund you all the payments since they stopped your coverage.
  15. I grew up on Kawasaki’s; 13 of them. Some of my friends rode Honda’s, but they mainly stayed in the back because they were embarrassed or got their feeling hurt when we really cranked on. As I got up in age, I decided to try an old man’s motorcycle; so, I bought a GoldWing. It was a POS and quit on me while I was running down the highway at 100. In 95 I decided that if I’m going to have an old man’s bagger, I should have the most sought-after bagger in the world. I bought a new Harley TourGlide. I’ve rode it all over the country. Somehow, I got old and fat and now I’m a fair-weather rider, as I’ve paid my dues and have nothing to prove. Its too hot most of the time in Tennessee for comfortable motorcycle riding. The wife tells me we may not be going back to Illinois as planned. So recently I’ve been kicking around the idea of selling the Harley and buying a cruise-in car. Like a 68-72 Chevelle or maybe another Corvette. Young men will continue to learn to ride on the ricers and will buy them when they are young because like most of us; that’s what they can afford. Most, when they hit their 30’s and 40’s will be able to afford a Harley and if their wife lets them; they will be able to get what they really want. You are probably in your 40’s; so go get that Honda and ride it. But you gotta promise us that when you step up, and you will if you ride much, that you will tell us when you join the ranks of the motorcycle elite. EDIT: Oops, forgot to put in a smiley face.
  16. And hence the obvious was incorrect; and my assumption was wrong. See how that works? I was only wrong one other time; I thought I was wrong....but I wasn't.
  17. Yes I do. But they are usually obvious assumptions.
  18. Of course you do, you don’t own and ride a Harley; I do. But you know deep down inside I’m right.
  19. Nothing going on here that is any different than the gun industry. Make something cheap enough and there are people that will buy it, sing it praises, and if you say anything bad about it, they will act like you called their kids ugly. Because the alternative is, they don't get to have that product. Foreign products can absolutely compete on quality. But its tough for Americans manufacturers to compete on price. It’s not just wages, its OSHA and EPA rules and restrictions that are very expensive to comply with. (I come from manufacturing; I could list hundreds). Taxes, Health insurance, Retirement, Unions and Union restrictions, training and certifications, not to mention shareholders profits; those things all add a lot of cost to the end product cost. I try my best to buy American Made. Sometimes its hard or impossible. TV’s, cameras, cell phones, computers; I buy foreign made just like everyone else. But the very best of the most import things in life you have to buy can absolutely be American Made. Guns, Cars, Motorcycles, and Liquor. The best of all those categories are American Made; not necessarily the cheapest, but the best. Buy American, Hire American, American Made
  20. Stanley Black & Decker Wants to Revitalize Craftsman by Bringing Production Back to U.S. https://www.americanmanufacturing.org/blog/entry/stanley-black-decker-aims-to-give-craftsman-new-life-by-bringing-production And this is where the Craftsman story takes a big turn, hopefully for the better. As it turns out, the folks at Stanley Black & Decker have big plans for the brand, which includes restoring the production of Craftsman tools in the United States, according to CEO James Loree. “We ended up simply buying the brand because the products had been left to de-volve over time to the point where they weren’t high quality, respectable products they once were,” Loree tells TheStreet. “They had migrated from made in America to virtually everything being made in China and Mexico. They were in sad shape.” That’s about to change, Loree says. Stanley Black & Decker has redesigned just under 1,500 Craftsman tools, all with American production in mind: About 40 percent of Craftsman products will be manufactured in the United States after the initial product relaunch, which is now underway and will heat up this fall at retailers like Lowe's, Ace Hardware and Amazon (just in time for the holiday shopping season). The goal is for about 70 percent of Craftsman tools to be Made in America in the next few years, Loree adds. Now, we profile a lot of Made in America companies here on the blog, and a lot of these folks are true believers. They are willing to sacrifice profit margins to keep their manufacturing in the United States; others operate for years before turning a profit at all. Stanley Black & Decker is not one of those companies. It is a global corporation that has been in business for 175 years. Making money is always its top priority – Loree spends the first half of that interview with TheStreet talking about things like “venture capital investing,” after all. Simply put, Stanley Black & Decker would not be reshoring Craftsman production to U.S. soil if it did not see an economic upside. Stanley Black & Decker knows that the Craftsman brand, although tarnished in recent years by Sears’ sad downfall, carries a legacy of quality. It is now aiming to reclaim that legacy, and knows restoring U.S. production is essential to bringing Craftsman back to life. While outsourcing might have led to a temporary boost in sales in the 1990s and early 2000s, consumers are wising up. They expect quality when it comes to the products they buy, especially with things like tools. Keeping manufacturing local helps ensure better quality – and that Made in America label carries a lot of clout in convincing customers that a product is worth their time and money. Things are looking up for Craftsman. As consumers rediscover the brand’s revitalized American-made product line, I hope Stanley Black & Decker will make good on its intention to bring additional production back to U.S. shores – and that other companies will follow its lead.
  21. I haven't been a cop for many years. But that's an excellent price, if you can get it. Maybe the guys in the Chattanooga area know. They also have 40S&W 180 for $23.99. I've stocked up a couple of times at Target Sports USA when they have ran 9 & 40 HST for around $20 for 50.
  22. what was that?
  23. Prezackly. TWRA doesn’t get to decide if she is the owner; she is or she isn’t. Legal rigmarole. You said your Mom and her siblings own the estate. If the property is part of that estate; she is the owner and a Tennessee resident.
  24. Sure, provided your mother owns the property and meets all the rigmarole about ownership/multiple owners\residency.
