  1. Is Kel-Tec doing something in Tennessee?
  2. The device that took that door knob out, and the 360 degree headsets were pretty cool.
  3. That, I would assume, is made by Bill Oglesby. But I have never seen his name stamped into a frame before. Is there a story behind this?
  4. Yep, the murder of Keith Ratliff is what brought in the GBI. The GBI believe Ratliff may have been killed by individual(s) he trusted. But the cops picking on someone because that person likes guns and they smoke weed makes a better story.
  5. So nothing like the bright blue Single Sixes of years past? I have loved bright blue since the first S&W Model 19 I bought new in 1978. But I soon learned that’s not a good idea when you are carrying them every day; so most all my revolvers are Stainless. But I got an itch for a cowboy revolver and a western holster rig. I won’t use it much, so polished blue would be great. I’m thinking maybe I can do a YouTube video of me smoking cigarettes, doing quick draws and possibly shooting myself in the leg. Wouldn’t that be fun!
  6. I’m thinking about a cowboy gun. I’m looking at the New Ruger Vaquero 5.5” .357 (5106) From the picture on their web site it looks like this is the crappy flat blue, like on everything nowadays and not a good high gloss blue. Is that a good assumption to make?
  7. Well….now you gone and done it; my feelings are hurt. And the day before Thanksgiving!
  8. Noted.... Dave, don't piss off the ATF. Okay, I won't.
  9. You are good with trying to impeach the President; and he hasn’t committed any crime. Why aren’t you okay with this? I know you would like everyone to believe that this guy was railroaded and sent to prison over weed, but I doubt there is a single person on this forum that believes that. If you feel so strongly about it; hook him up with a go fund me account or donate to his legal expenses.
  10. Unless you do it the way Hickok45 does it. It really is that simple.
  11. There is no "has become"; its been that way all of our lives. If you know the cops are out to get you; don't do stupid stuff.
  12. Wasn’t this a murder investigation? I mean, not that facts will matter here. But yes, if you want to get in a pizzing match with the cops; don’t have drugs.
  13. A good reminder. It happened because you pulled the trigger, as many will point out. It can also happen without you pulling the trigger. Which they like to deny. We can’t be careful enough with a loaded firearm. I’m OCD about having an ND or a AD and have been handling guns for over 50 years. I still am concerned it could happen to me. I’ve had one AD, but the gun was pointed at a target when it happened.
  14. It seems buying is as slow as selling. I put up an ad yesterday on several sites that I wanted to see if anyone was trying to sell a used S&W Model 41 or, Ruger Mark IV Competition before I ordered new. I’ve only had one response and that was from someone that started by telling me if I was shopping “Price Only” his gun was not for me, as he wanted more than new price. I’ve been through this before, when I have gun money burning a hole in my pocket, and even have stuff for the “will you trade” folks, and still can’t get anyone to take my money. So, I guess just like before; its going to go to new from an online vendor.
  15. 95 TourGlide
  16. I’d like to see them turn Adam Schiff loose on him.
  17. It hadn't hit the fan yet in 2018. I bet he won't get that kind of raise in 2019.
  18. Like the Red Cross?
  19. Sorry you feel the need to reduce inventory. At 65 although I can still shoot anything fine, I’m facing having to sell my Harley. I can still ride, but I’m tired of listening to friends and family run their mouth about how I don’t ride it much anymore. Brother, not much is selling right now. Tupperware guns if the price is low enough is moving a little. If you can wait until the election next year, they will probably go up substantially. If a Democrat is elected, they will go up a bunch. Also, I think the feds are going to stop private sales. If that happens with warning; sales will skyrocket from the time it passes to when it goes into effect.
  20. I think this one only weighs about 26 LBS.
  21. I just added a couple more guns to the classifieds. I’m trying to sell or trade to get what I want while everyone is saving for Black Friday and Christmas; how silly is that.

    Hornet

Savage makes several models in .22 Hornet. .22 Hornet ammo is still available for about the same price as .223. It’s a much shorter effective range than the .223, but also less recoil. Is resale value an issue to you?
  23. Everything is application driven. Of course it’s not fast to draw; it’s not a holster. Guns in purses, backpacks, and even Day-Timers is pretty common. The only problem I see with this one is the size. If it will hold a SCCY, but not a Shield, it needs to be just a smidge bigger.
  24. The deciding factor for me, between those 3, would be that the Henry AR-7 stores inside itself. DISCLAIMER: I don’t traipse around in the woods (some call it hiking or camping). But if I did, I would want my AR10 with 20 rounds of .308.
