Welcome. You don’t glow in the dark do you?

I saw a video the other night of a store owner in San Francisco; it was crazy. He said the city decriminalized minor theft and he is constantly fighting with shoplifters; the cops can’t do anything, they are overwhelmed. He can’t sell his store and move because due to what the city has done’ no one will buy it. What is going on in California, especially San Francisco can’t continue. At some point the criminals will be climbing over the fences at the gated communities. The liberals don’t seem to understand that criminals will kill them and eat them. And it’s not just CA, States Attorney Kim Foxx and Mayor Lori Lightfoot won’t prosecute violent minority offenders in Chicago because they say the cops are prejudice against them. Absolutely the cops are prejudice against violent offenders; but it has nothing to do with race.

Politicians are more afraid of seeing voters there than they are of guns. We shall see how it turns out.

Getting in shape, round's a shape right?

I’m not sure... around $700 for 2 months. But its not buy a month, get a month free, like they are advertising. Unless maybe you find the highest possible price known to man. -

Started Nutrisystem yesterday. -
Thanks, I’m not ruling anything out in a Colt clone; other than on price. This will be a toy; not a collectable. I’m in the $500-$700 range; not the $1500+ range. The hard part for me is finding something in blue I like; I’m spoiled with the S&W blue revolves. Most all my guns I have now are stainless; because I use/used them. So with this I’m kinda wanting something in a polished blue. All those Colt clones (in that price range) seem to be the case hardened finish; that’s not an option at all for me. I keep coming back to the Ruger Vaquero. I haven’t seen the New Blue Vaquero in person yet, but it appears to be a crappy flat blue in pictures. I may have to go with the stainless. I’m still trying to decide.

Neither, I'm looking for a Vaquero.

I’ve read on the World Wide Web that no one shoots that round anymore. So, it would do you no good to keep that useless ammo. I have a truck, and since you are a good forum member, I would be willing to haul that worthless ammo away for you. Which would make room for you to make a lot more of a better caliber, like 9mm, that you would probably get some use out of. How’s that sound, Brother?

Smokin' that hookah; happens all the time.

I don’t disagree that the Democrats will do anything and everything they can do to impact the availability of weapons and ammunition. Cigarettes (and gas, liquor, and now drugs) are not a Constitutionally protected right. Arms are supposed to be. If the SCOTUS ever rules that to be true; they won’t be able to mess with ammunition. For over 40 years I have been hearing how ammunition was going to get too expensive. But every year it gets more affordable.

US Strike Kills Top Iranian Terror Mastermind Qassem Soleimani

The Russians probably have a way to go to catch up with the amount of military aircraft the U.S. has sold them. But the Iranians do a pretty good job of manufacturing weapons. They built the two types of ballistic missiles that were used in the attack. -

And I double down on my disagreement of your disagreement. As a nation, they might be a little careful what they do….maybe….kinda, nah disregard that; they don’t care even a little bit. Terrorists and mass shooters fear nothing. They don’t fear Trump, they know they are going to die. It’s just a matter of where and when. They will continue to try to kill us; they will try to make it appear the Country of Iran is not behind the attacks, as to confuse our targets. If its true that Trump made the comment, he will take them out of the oil business; they might be a little concerned about that. They do need that money. Especially since they don’t have any democrats shipping them airplanes full of cash. -

In 1988 we shot down an Iranian Airbus A380 killing all 290 people onboard. The USS Vincennes identified it as an attacking F-14 Tomcat, that we sold them. So, it its surely possible that the Iranians shot down a passenger jet in the middle of a missile attack. It took off hours after the attack, but I guess with everyone on high alert and their fingers on the triggers; it could happen. Things like that happen when you play war for real. I also don’t buy into the “They just wanted to look good for their people, and now they will stop, because they know what we will do.” They don’t fear us and they don’t care what their people think. They will launch another attack; either there or here. -
I don’t know that it was ever posted why he decided it was illegal. My guess is that because it is a rifle caliber and uses an AR magazine; it is an SBR. He can make that argument if he likes. Just like he (or any DA) that had evidence of someone using a brace as a stock (not its intended use) on an SBR without NFA documentation, could make the argument that’s illegal. Will it happen? Not likely. But if it did the court, not the BATF, would become the decision maker in that court’s jurisdiction. Would you be jailed if your defense was the approval of the ATF, and you were convicted? Not likely. Would you have large legal bills? Probably. All of this is just information for someone to digest. Putting your freedom and your family’s finances in the hands of the ATF doesn’t make sense to me. If you think using a brace as a stock on a SBR does not violate Federal law; you have nothing to worry about.

I assume he's talking about the missile attacks on bases in Iraq by Iran. Plenty of speculation on how Trump will get us out of this without sending troops to war. Hours after the attacks they are saying they don’t know if there are injuries. That’s ridiculous. Of course they know if there are injuries; this is 2020. -
With the economy in better shape, and the job market growing, apparently you can get elected, or keep your elected position, by being a proponent of violating the 2nd Amendment rights Citizens have under the United States Constitution. At some point the United States Supreme Court has to get off the fence and address this issue. We either have a constitutional right to keep and bear arms; or we don’t. This “reasonable restrictions” BS isn’t going to cut it. Believe it or not Dan Helmer graduated West Point and was an Officer in the Army. Sorry, but I just find it hard to believe that anyone smart enough to be a Military Officer (even in the Army ) could be the same clown that made a video stating the following…

The comments those pictures caused on Twitter are hilarious.

My comments here were not meant to get you or anyone else all wound up. We share information on this forum, and hopefully keep each other informed on the law, as best we can without having attorneys giving opinions on specific cases. My point was that the lame azz ATF sends those letters out that get posted all over the forums and folks act like they are the law. The ATF then goes on to tell you those letters have no force of law. However, they will be more than happy to provide a copy of that letter at your trial where a real judge will determine if what you did violates the law. That part of their silly non-sense rarely gets posted. So that’s what I’m doing.

I had that for a few years; that's a sweet deal.
