  1. I doubt we will ever find out what truly happened. Identifying those that were present would be a death sentence. I hope the press (or the White House) doesn't do that if they find out. But we will be seeing some great movies shortly.
  2. I have been to plenty of suicides and homicides also. It would blow half his head off if the barrel was placed against his head no matter what kind of ammunition they were shooting. The gas charge could blow his head apart. Just because it was the gun used to kill Bin Laden doesn't make me want to buy a Sig. Now if I could buy THE gun that killed him; that would be a different story.
  3. Dearborn, Michigan
  4. Its the forum software. I use Microsoft WORD and that's how it comes out. I also can't adjust the size of it, but that may have happened since I installed IE9. Sorry.... nothing I can do about it short of using notepad.
  5. Thank you for buying a vehicle built in America, by an American company using American labor.
  6. Yeah, I had that same guy tell me his partner would be back the next day to remove the stump. He never showed up. He had two good eyes back then; must have crossed the wrong guy. I don't pay for any work until its completed now.
  7. The storm knocked down half a tree. I need to get the rest of it taken down and possibly another tree. Are there any forum members or can you recommend any in Murfreesboro that are insured? I understand that they are probably busy right now.... I can wait since insurance isn't paying for it.
  8. It would be an interesting case, no doubt. Prior to Heller all but one or two of the Federal District Courts had ruled that the 2nd amendment was not an individual right. Both Heller and McDonald basically split the 2nd amendment in half. You do have an individual right to own guns; however, where you carry them will be determined by the state. I don’t know enough about contract law to know what the ramifications would be if you signed a contract with a no gun clause in it, knowing that you were going to fight it on Constitutional grounds. I would guess the question may have already come up somewhere. You have a right to keep arms. The SCOTUS ruled that both the DC and Chicago gun bans were unconstitutional. I know that a private owner doesn’t have to respect your Constitutional rights, but I think a civil court would side with allowing a gun in your home. However, for the state of Tennessee to tell a private property owner they have to allow you to have a gun in your car at work would require that the state acknowledge the right to keep and bears arms. This state doesn’t acknowledge that. It is a crime to carry a gun in this state. Therefore I don’t see how they could pass this legislation and if they did how it could stand up to scrutiny in the court system.
  9. Several views and no comments. I guess everyone is wondering the same thing I am….. Is this a joke? What’s the punch line?
  10. I knew that Joe sold, but when I just went to the “Forum Vendors†area I don’t see them.
  11. Here is a blank for $30. AR15 LOWER RECEIVER RAW FORGING by: Anchor Harvey Company - Tactical If you have the machinery and ability to complete an 80%, and your time isn't worth anything, or you just want to be able to say you did it, why not just machine it from one of these blanks or even a billet?
  12. Do to the recent SCOTUS decisions I don’t think that would fly anymore. The court has acknowledged that while the state can control wherea nd how you “bear arms†you do have an individual right to “Keep Armsâ€. I don’t think a landlord could make you get rid of your guns. You can legally carry a gun on your property in Tennessee; it is a crime for a citizen to carry a gun in their car. Therefore Tennessee law would need to change before a home/car argument could be made.
  13. I don't see anything that would lead me to believe being a state school is required; quite the opposite. Common sense tells me that based on the purpose and goals of the Boys & Girls Clubs, if someone saw you carrying a gun you would either be asked to leave or the Police would be called. I can only give a common sense reply to your question based on reading the law; but then I’m not big on being a test case. I would think all those clubs are posted; are they not?

    ROCK RIVER ARMS ??

There are several on that list I certainly would never pick over a DPMS. Could it be your information is as old as this thread?
  15. I would go so far as to say it's the only issue. I'm sure their are a few business owners that are anti-gun and want to ban guns on their property, but I would bet anything that most are simply looking at exposure to liability; I know I would. No, there is nothing in the law now that would make anyone "less liable" if they ban, but it would be kinda hard to hit someone hard with punitive damages in a shooting on their property if they ban guns. I know one way to find out if its about liability, on this and on posting; give them absolute immunity from civil liability or even having to hire a lawyer and then you will know.
  16. The forum was only 4 years old in January; he must be nearing the end of the archives.
  17. Wrong. An employer doesn’t need probable cause to search your vehicle; they aren’t cops. Ever drive on a military base?
  18. Give me an example of a right they give up, but then are still held civilly liable for. So your question is “if your are giving up rights anyway who cares how many you give up?â€
  19. Why do they need to see it? In case you haven't figured it out, they don't fear you now and they wouldn't fear you after seeing that. It doesn't need to be shown on TV. The people that don't believe he is dead aren't going to believe it if you killed him in front of them. Just because they are animals doesn't mean we need to be. Our troops killed him and disposed of the bodily properly.... that's all that can be done.
  20. That's media hype from a TinFoil Hat. Even the ACLU said they don't have a complainant. They don't have an incident or any evidence that the devices have ever been used on anything; much less a traffic stop. They have thier panties in a bunch because they found out that MSP has a device that can extract information from a cell phone. Duhhhh.... I would bet THP and Metro can do the same thing; this is after all 2011.
  21. I don’t keep up on house bill numbers is this the parking lot bill?
  22. Of course the videos are going to show up. Hollywood could create an actor that his family couln't tell the difference. I would bet the first place we see him is SNL.
  23. You guys crack me up... how do you sleep at night. If he isn't dead who's beind it? Because it damn sure isn't Obama.
