Democrats blocked a $2 trillion coronavirus rescue bill for the second day in a row today. The vote was 49-46, 60 votes are required to advance the legislation for a final debate.

Ha, ha, ha. When I first met with my financial advisor I told him I had a pretty high IQ, high enough that I know I have no more chance of picking the right stocks than picking the lottery numbers, and no desire to learn or spend the research time required. That’s his job. Then we talked about guns for two hours.

Call the department that would respond, or I even recommended you go in person and ask to talk to a Command Officer. Sure, if they think your shooting is reckless or disorderly, they can do something. That’s why you probably want to talk to a Command Officer before, instead of after, a situation occurs. Because your neighbor is complaining, more is involved than simply whether or not shooting is legal. After you have the information about the legalities, you might want to have a sit down with your neighbor and see what can be worked out.

I don't see it as selfish either. A collapse of the economy will result in a lot of death and violence.

Finally! I’m not asking for an argument about what room it’s in, I don’t have a budget, I don’t need to use the equipment I’m using now; it won’t do what I want. My comment was not directed at you. I just found it amusing that folks on the home theater forums got side tracked with “hearing aides” and “soundbars that sound good to you”. Me being a simpleton (that shouldn’t need an explanation) and you being a low end audiophile…fill me in brother… what’s the $2500 home theater that will do what I want?

The reality of the situation is a cure or vaccine could be discovered tomorrow; or it could be the 12-18 months they have all said from the beginning. Are people that are postponing everything a month being real? No, they are being positive and hopeful. That is a good thing. The Treasury Secretary just said “The U.S. economy is strong. We’ve stopped major parts of it, but when we get through this virus, as I’ve said, I think you’re gonna see the U.S. economy come back to the strength, we have great companies, we have great workers,” he said. “What we need to do is have a bridge to get through this. And this isn’t the financial crisis that’s gonna go on for years.” What does he base that on? Hope, or a WAG. You be the judge. Trump has done the same thing.

The economy can’t last until august; no matter who does the press conferences. They need to go to plan B. However, if Trump wasn’t in there it probably would have crashed already. It’s not right to blame him for small market fluctuations; they are going to happen. (During or after press conferences) No one was complaining when the markets were soaring and setting record results; due to Trumps announcements. The biggest problem I see is; why are all those people up there? All the medical experts are all saying the same thing. So we only need one. Based on the agency names, I would say we only need to be hearing from the CDC on the virus. As I said; he’s out there because he was being criticized for not being out there, implying he was not taking this seriously.

When they have idiots grandstanding like that reporter or the one whining about “Chinese virus”; they should be kicked out of there and some with new blood that have reasonable questions we care about, allowed in. The azzhat worded the question so there was no way Trump could addresses it without acknowledging there are people that don’t trust him. We all know that there are people that do not like, or trust Trump. Anyone who’s IQ is higher than their age won’t be needing to hear a discussion of that in a press conference. I would have fired my reporters if they pulled a stunt like that. Pence was doing an okay job, but Trump was being criticized for not being out there. So now he’s out there. You don’t trust the government. We all know that. But this discussion isn’t about your hatred for Trump.

We did this to ourselves. But I doubt most of those who supported it will change their minds; hopefully I’m wrong.

This may make some realize that some states want them banned from owning firearms that would allow them to protect themselves and their families during an emergency and won’t have the ability to respond in time to their needs.

My BIL was in a panic and needed a gun. I told him I have one you can use or buy, your choice. He stays at my house and takes care of my dog when I travel. So, it was priced really cheap, and he said he wanted to buy it. He has been out going to restaurants, bars, etc. So, my wife, his sister, said he can’t come in the house. I gave him the gun at the back fence, and he dropped the money in a plastic shopping bag I had. I told the wife the money was in a bag in the entryway, just let it lay there for a couple of days. When I got up today, my wife had laundered the money (that’s right laundered), used hand sanitizer on it, and dried it. So if you need any money laundered; my wife is working from home. I just thought I would share that story, that I thought was humorous.

Governor Como of NY just said that masks they were paying .85 for, they are now paying over $7 for due to competing with other states. I thought Trump and Pence went to 3M and they were “On Board” and ready to help?? I’d be curious to know if the manufacturer or the supplier is price gouging and how they are getting away with it. Or if Como is just lying. He is asking that Medical Supply acquisition be federalized. I don’t see where that is necessary to fix the price?? He is also asking that the Army Corp of Engineers build five hospitals in NY. He is asking the President to cut through the red tape. Imagine him asking that.

It’s a shame that some people can’t grasp what is going on here, and instead of prioritizing dealing with the problem they want to whine about rights they think might be violated. Your friend is an example of that. We are on the verge of an economic collapse. Martial law is a very real possibility. It hasn’t been implemented yet because emergencies are being declared and they are letting people move about to meet their basic needs. But Martial law isn’t required for arresting the idiots that seem to think their rights are somehow being violated because they can’t understand what is going on around them. Local law enforcement has the authority to do that without Martial law being declared. This will end. What our country and our economy will look like is anybody guess.
