  1. Let us know if you have any issues when you get out and put some rounds through it. I’ve had a chance to get the 7400 in 308 a few times but have always passed because the overlap between my 700VLS bolt and my AR10; there just wasn’t a need or a want. But because I like Walnut and high gloss blue, they are still a possible option before all those guns are gone. I’ve never had a problem with a Remington Rifle or Shotgun.
  2. In your home? You might want to check your local ordinances first. Both for a business and with the obvious regulations and precautions for explosives. That ended my pursuit right there for an 01 FFL. The city of Murfreesboro does not allow an FFL in a residence. Therefore, the BATF won’t issue one. I would think your product liability insurance for an 06 FFL would be pretty high, but that’s just a guess.

  4. It’s legal for a Doctor to prescribe those drugs for “off Label” use. I would guess the Governor is putting his state at great liability, and residents at risk with that order. Like so many other things, this should be between a Doctor and patient, the state should not be involved.
  5. Did you explain to her that her parents lied to her when they told her everyone is equal?
  6. Nothing, other than he wrote the story that’s in that link and is trying to get clicks. It appears to me everything he’s posted is spamming the site.
  7. I don’t know what will be suggested. I suspect we will be presented with two bad options. The medical people will say we run the risk of people dying if folks go back to work. The financial experts will say our economy is near crashing and if it does people will die. Both are right. And as far as Bill Lee….he will be in charge and be making the hard choices. It will be the same for all Governors, Mayors, Business Owners, etc. Heck with the authority; the Feds don’t have the ability to override them. I’m not a financial expert and don’t pretend to be. But I don’t think you need to be to understand that we can’t simply hide behind closed doors and let those that feed us and protect us do the heavy lifting.
  8. It’s okay if I’m wrong. I have bigger things I’ll have to explain.
  9. Yes. Intermingling with a large crowd at church would be no different than the kids on the beach at Spring Break. I’m pretty sure my God will be okay with that.
  10. Trump is aiming for full churches on Easter Sunday. Would I do that? No. Risking your life to help others and risking your life for no reason, are two very different things.
  11. I was going to warn you about that; but I thought I’d leave it alone.
  12. Dang man, I hate it that it took a pandemic to make that obvious. I have been preaching that since way before Donald Trump was ever a consideration. I doubt you will be alone in coming to that realization, but I bet you are one of the few to openly admit it.
  13. Its not an all or nothing scenario. Food workers are working so you can eat. Truck drivers and dock workers are working so you can eat. Firefighters and EMT’s are working so you have emergency medical help. Police Officers are working to respond to emergencies; whatever they may be. No one is talking about forcing anyone to go back to work. That would up to the business owners and precautions can be taken. Most of the manufacturing workers I worked with would probably be willing to work. Let those that are willing to step up do so, and those that have concerns can stay at home. No different that every other time our country ask for volunteers.
  14. No matter how much he is hated; it does matter what the President of the United States says. If he has the support of Medical professionals; people will go along with what he says. Will asking people to go back to work cause the economy to recover? Not completely, people won’t be vacationing, traveling, or flying; but they may have an income. I’m a 65 year old former smoker. So I’m high risk. I am retired and work part time from home. Would I be willing to go to work and risk getting a virus that kills ~1% of those infected, if it would help keep our economy from collapsing? Absolutely. My wife woks for a food company and their employees are “essential” and are working. My wife is putting herself at risk to help. I couldn’t ask that of her and me not be willing to do it.
  15. The FBI doesn’t make laws. I would appreciate the Director of the FBI standing up and saying Americans that want to be armed should not be infringed, and that he supports the 2nd amendment as an individual right. But his support has zero impact on my rights.
  16. I have never seen President Trump dance around an issue like he did after making that statement yesterday. He finally said he is NOT talking months to get people back to work. I’ve been doing my part and staying at home, but I’ve told my wife, our country can’t continue like this until August; that’s crazy. I think everyone knows that, but now it is time for plan B. He now says (Press conference today) he wants the country open by Easter. 19 days from now. If business doesn’t open back up; our economy will collapse and that will kill people also. Manufacturing can’t be run from home. I guess the next few days will tell.
  17. I don’t know if she is still the director, or if anyone is working there due to Cornavirus, but is this the number you are calling? Program Director, Lisa Knight P.O. Box 23710 Nashville, TN 37202 (615) 251-8590
  18. No one will know if someone does it on GB. But they will know if they do it here and won’t want to buy anything from them anymore.
  19. I don't see any of the mainstream dealers jacking up prices. They are just limited in what they have.
  20. You have to be creative for your own situation. When my kids were little I kept a loaded gun in the top of the closet. All I had to do was stand up and grab it. I took it with me or secured it when I got up. I have plenty of semi-auto carry guns, but use a revolver for a nightstand gun. No worries about bumping the trigger, safeties, or my wife not being able to operate it. I don’t have kids around and can just leave guns laying out, but a revolver is harder for a small child to fire or bump into something and have a discharge. Like most here; I wouldn’t use a mechanical device that may/may not open.
  21. I think you can open carry some old azz black powder guns. But I’m not sure because I have no desire to do that. But carrying a modern handgun on a horse would require the same permit required to carry without being on a horse. Unless there is some wording in the vehicle carry statute that would allow it on a horse. I don’t remember seeing that. EDIT: I thought you were asking about the legalities of it. If you weren’t, disregard these comments as I have no idea what kind of gun you should carry of a horse. One that won’t scare the horse would be my guess.
  22. I don’t think so. But of course, I could be wrong, I have no idea how a democrats mind works.
  23. The governor of Illinois won’t pass up a dollar in taxes. He blasted all the taxes up last year gas, cigarettes, license plates, etc., when he had a windfall coming in January when the state would jump into the drug business. But on another note, a few years ago the Illinois Supreme Court indicated that they thought restricting the carry of a handgun off private property was a violation of the 2nd amendment. But they weren’t being asked to answer that question at the time, in that case. So the liberal democrats are trying to keep a case like that from going forward. I can now carry a gun in my car in Illinois (as can anyone with an HCP). I was arrested for that when I lived there. So some progress is being made.
