  1. So a credit card machine “thinks†it is being compromised and it self-destructs, causing you to have to buy a new one?
  2. A Jerry Miculek (Wood grips) 625 is $821 brand new. A Kimber Custom TLE II is $994 brand new. So there is $173 difference plus or minus condition and desire.
  3. We live in a Republic; not a democracy. We are ruled by law, not majority rule. Would we want majority rule? Well…. I for one wouldn’t want to put the right to bear arms up for a vote; it would be soundly defeated. Our founding Fathers started with a blank page and developed the form of government and the law of the land (The United Sates Constitution) to fit the situations and lifestyles they had at the time. They at no time thought they were all knowing of what the future would bring and they put in place the ability to interpret and change both the laws and the Constitution. Groups of people battle over the bill of rights. On gun forums it’s usually the 2nd & the 4th amendments. Did the founding fathers intend for anyone to be able to strap on a gun anywhere they wanted? Obviously not, or the 2nd amendment would simply read “The right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.†They started the 2nd with the words “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a Free State,†They did that because at the time laws were enforced by elected Officials and local militias. Were they men who expected local law enforcement to need a warrant if they saw a suspicious criminal walking down the street? Of course they weren’t; they were hard on criminals. They used the word “unreasonableâ€. People were protected from unreasonable searches. Who decided if the search was reasonable? The local courts. They would be ashamed that we have put the rights of criminals over the security of our nation, and then tried to justify it with quotes from them. We don’t need a new government. We need to rebuild our nation. We need politicians that will stand up and say what they believe; not what they know the voters want to hear. We need Americans to be the Patriots that were common in the past. Can we do that? I don’t think so.
  4. I think he’s just offering his opinion. If the criteria for the “Top 5†are the most carried, there won’t be a $1K handgun anywhere near the top of that list.
  5. The school has something they can do. They can ask the School Board to expel those kids. Let’s see how Mommy and Daddy like paying for a private school. If I was the Principal, I would want to hear from each of those kids parents detailing their plan to deal with this. If it wasn’t satisfactory I would recommend expulsion. I would give them this opportunity because sometimes good parents have evil kids, or have no idea what the kids did.
  6. Only a jury can say if he is guilty or not. We all have our opinions and have voiced them here based on the information the have been given. As you can see, we are all not in agreement. I’m sure this entire trial will be televised and we will see what the jury sees. You are right; people will judge Zimmerman based on their interpretations of what he did. Plenty of people have sent money for his defense, what makes you think one of them wouldn’t give him a job? Actions, right or wrong, have consequences. We all have plenty invested in this case. Many people have fought hard to get “duty to retreat†laws repealed. Cases like this and the one in Texas have some legislators taking a second look at the consequences.
  7. I’ve never understood this. If it’s illegal for a CLEO to refuse to sign off, why require it? Why not just require a copy be sent registered mail? Don’t the Feds do the background check anyway?
  8. Marcus Santos has a picture of him and Hillary Clinton on the “About Me†page of his website; he needed punched. Who here would put up with people getting in your way, pushing into you, and sticking stuff in your face all the time? No one. Quit whining Marcus. You picked your job, now man up, shake it off and go harass someone else. You don’t go crying to Police because you got slapped like a little girl.
  9. Looks like a Marlin 1895 SBL modified for someone wearing big azz gloves.
  10. I have some questions. How did a criminal case the DA refused to file charges on get into a courtroom? (Your Fathers arrest for assault.) When you say “The Sherriff†won’t do anything, are you talking about a Deputy sent to the house or a Command Officer in the Sheriff’s Department? So you have a Judge there that says any one of us could write Fu#* You on a barrel, put it our front yard, and that is covered under the 1st amendment? The more I hear about cops around here the more I understand why some people get so pizzed at them. Do they do anything, or just show up and say Tennessee cops can’t arrest people for misdemeanors unless they witness it? Domestic violence is a misdemeanor and I will bet when they show up on a domestic violence call someone goes to jail.
  11. 39-17-901 is not the law; its definitions. 39-17-308 harassment fits perfectly. Especially if this guy has a restraining order saying he can’t harass them. He’s also in violation of a restraining order. (Contempt of Court) Any cop called out there should be able to handle this. If they don’t, go in and talk to a Command Officer. If I saw that as the responding Officer I would cuff him up and take him to jail.
  12. Because he heard Brad Paisleys song Camouflage and thought that really happened.
  13. Okay….. Now that we have all that straightened out… For those of us not familiar with the world of black Ops, what is agt? All Google tells me is that either you were on Americas Got Talent, or you are a dealer for Electric Cars in Canada.
  14. I’ve done some things you aren’t supposed to talk about. All I can do anymore is talk about them.
  15. Well… You need a Tupperware carry gun for when you need superior firepower. (15 rounds of .40S&W) You need a Tupperware compact for when you want more concealability. (10 rounds of .40S&W) You need a Micro compact for when you want even more concealability. (6 rounds of .40S&W) You need a 1911 just because they are cool and make great range guns. (8 rounds of .45ACP) You need a .357 mag revolver for target use at the range and at home the wife can pick it up and shoot without knowing anything other than how to pull the trigger. (6 rounds of .357MAG) You need a J-frame S&W revolver for deep concealment, and because everyone else has one. (5 rounds of .357MAG) You need both a .22 Tupperware gun and a .22 revolver because you want cheap trigger time for target practice. Oh… and since you are getting into rifles now let’s take a look at what you need there. You are getting you first AR; that’s great. You know of course you need an Eotech to go on it don’t you? You will also need a bolt action high precision sniper rifle in .308. It will need to wear a high power scope capable of that application. (Leupold, NightForce) Now you will need an AR in .22 and a .223 bolt for cheaper trigger time. And then of course you will want the ultimate battle rifle; an AR in 7.62 NATO. I am not a hunter; if you are you might need a shotgun. If you aren’t and have fulfilled the above list; you don’t need a shotgun. I know I have left out a few things that you can get by without for now. You will be able to get them later. These are just the things you NEED.
  16. Depends on what you think the essentials are. Multiple handguns are required for HCP carry. If you want to get into AR’s; so be it. So what’s the shotgun needed for? Do you hunt with it? If not ditch it and use the money for essentials. What does your wife spend money on? Mine likes to gamble, so every time she goes to Tunica or Vegas; I get a gun.
  17. I’ve seen a few of them recently. Of course you never see what you want when you want it (at least I don’t). Post a WTB ad (They are free) and see what shows up.
  18. It would drive me nuts until I found out what that lettering means. It looks like ISPS to me though.
  19. They are great guns, but I don’t know why anyone would want to pay $700-$800 for a copy of the original, with a lock, when the original pre-locks are still available for $500. The reissues won’t be collector guns.
  20. The Dems have to be loving this.
  21. Memphis beats out Chicago every year as the most dangerous city. Memphis has legally armed citizens and guns galore; Chicago does not. What’s up with that?
  22. I only do FTF or use reputable proven on-line retailers. I’m not about to send several hundred dollars or a gun to someone I don’t know. The fact they have an FFL dosen’t mean they are’’t a crook. I haven’t bought much used lately, most of the time I can order new for the same money or less. Places like Buds have made on-line ordering a pretty simple task.

    1911's

I have a Smith & Wesson SW1911 Target that shoots every bit as well and as accurate as my Kimbers or any other 1911 I have owned. They are also American Made.

  25. Work permits are not citizenship. Maybe the Feds want them to register so they know where to go pick them up after Obama is gone so they can deport them. Obama has done everything he can do to destroy this country. And I doubt we have seen anything compared to what he will do in the next four years. People are desperate and will vote for anyone promising a handout. We created this through our greed and it will be our downfall.
