I don’t know. He has the balls to push amnesty through. The impact of that could be equal to an issue with Russia. But he has already said Snowden isn’t worth messing with.

As I’ve said before; it can’t work, you can’t split this country. Our manufacturing base is the key to our survival. And by manufacturing I mean companies that manufacture a product; not bolt it together from imported parts. If you start breaking up borders or have rogue states; the supply and delivery chains will be compromised. Companies will have no choice to move out of restrictive states or fold altogether. Local economies will collapse, 401kâ€s, banking, and investments will evaporate. In these states that would choose succession how are you going to get paid? If you work for a living will your job still is there? If you draw disability that will be gone, retirement benefits may also be gone. Good jobs in manufacturing are the key to our survival. There is no way we can survive without it. Splitting our nation is a death sentence.

It is going to be easy; it always has been. They aren’t going to drive down our drives and pull a gun on us. They will light up cars and people in drive-bys that have no time or chance to shoot back.

Ignoring all that internet chatter, I think the threat to him is very real. The people that will go after him aren’t posting on twitter and I doubt they are the type to challenge him to gun fight. The New Black Panthers openly put a bounty on him dead or alive and the justice department stood by silently; that says a lot. There are people waiting for a reason to riot; they don’t care about Martin or Zimmerman. Either way the verdict goes; they will use it as a reason to destroy property and steal stuff.

Absolutely not. You can be a whistleblower and a Patriot; but not a traitor and a Patriot. There are other things Snowden could have done without giving communist countries sensitive information, or information they would use to do Americans harm. He switched sides, and for that he will go to prison if he is captured before one of those others countries kill him. Did any of us need Snowden to tell us we are being watched or monitored by the government? Of course not. Will turning over technology information to other countries help change that? Of course not. What about the next NSA, CIA, FBI agent that’s thinks the information he has is something the American people need to know? You could never get a jury to acquit this guy. Hopefully 12 Americans can’t make it through the jury selection process that will say “yes, he is a traitor; but we are going to let him go.†You might get a hung jury, but they will continue to try him until they have a conviction.

Use what you bought as a range belt. For carry, take a look at these Beltman belts. They aren’t cheap, but mine still looks nearly new after 3 years of everyday wear. My 1.5†will go through the loops of Levis and most other pants, other than some dress slacks. It’s a solid belt that will hold up anything you put on it. http://www.thebeltman.net/bh112.htm Many use a Velcro under belt that holds the duty belt in place. You can also use belt keepers. If you need some belt keepers check out Greene’s Military on Lebanon Pike. While there have them show you the Safariland Duty Belt set-up with the Velcro under belt for the next time you need a competition belt.

Self-Righteous? I don’t think I’m self-righteous. I would do whatever I could do to help someone wanting to defect from China or Russia and turn over classified info to us. And there would be people in his country saying he’s a traitor; and they would be right.

Why would they charge him when it would serve no purpose and if they did so would not allow them to call him to testify at her trial? Now they have a co-conspirator they can use. Charges may be dropped. But for now they are still going forward. What about the $57K she had in her credit union the day she testified she didn’t have any money? They both lied. I’m just thinking it would be the first question I ask as soon as he was sworn in.
-
No, perjury is a crime; not a big deal when you are facing murder charges. An attorney putting a client on the stand knowing that he is going to lie is a crime; it’s called subornation of perjury. O.J wasn’t acquitted because the prosecution didn’t do their job.(okay, that was part of it) But he was acquitted because three Police Officers took the stand that weren’t believable; so they threw out all their testimony. They were left with very little evidence. Zimmerman doesn’t run a big risk by testifying; even if they throw out his testimony. But maybe a lawyer here can answer this for sure; if he takes the stand voluntarily can the prosecution ask him if he has ever lied under oath? We know the answer to that and if the jury has heard about this case; they do too.

Yes, they were. And if things hadn’t worked out the way they planned they would have been in prison or executed. I hate everything Obama stands is; I hate to even see his face. I think he is intentionally doing all the damage he can to our nation. But I won’t turn traitor and give classified documents to communist countries because of what he’s doing. I’m sure they are plenty of people in the NSA, CIA, etc. that hate Obama as much as most of us; but I doubt they start telling everything the know to the Russians and Chinese. Does anyone think for one second Snowden will walk free? Of course he won’t he committed a crime against our country and will be made an example of. The communists will probably kill him when they are done with him and try to make it look like the U.S. ordered it. He’s not a whistleblower; he’s a traitor. If he was a whistleblower he would have went to a law firm and stood and fought. No deep dark secrets will come out if he is put on trial; the government will claim national security for anything they don’t want to expose and he will go to prison.

Cities have ordinances. They can make you maintain your yard, not abandon cars in your yard, and require you to keep your house in a safe condition. Tall grass can lead to insect infestations that cause health concerns. If people don’t like that they can get the ordinances changed…. Or they can move.

China won’t want to keep him in-country. You don’t think they will interrogate him in Cuba or Venezuela?

It’s laughable to hear communists talk about “assaults against the people’ or China talking about the U.S. “hacking†of Chinese telephone companies. The Chinese government attacks our businesses daily both in information theft and by marketing illegal copies of our products. Everything that Snowden knows; they will know. He will not be allowed to pick and choose what he tells them. When they are done with him he will either be turned over to the U.S. in some great act of cooperation to help with whatever drama is going on at the time, or he will simply disappear. I suspect Mr. Snowden will discover that none of those people have any concern for his best interests and zero concern for the “American peopleâ€. He is a traitor to his country.

It won’t be the first time I have seen justice denied. I’m good with any decision they make. If a jury puts their stamp of approval on what Zimmerman did; so be it. I don’t think he’s guilty of murder; I think its manslaughter. If an acquittal makes me “wrong all alongâ€; I’m okay with that.
-
I didn’t say that. But all these Zimmerman threads have been filled with blatant racism on both sides. The fact that some citizens expressed their disgust with the DA’s decision when the Police ask for an arrest warrant doesn’t mean Zimmerman is on trial because of racism. I have said from jump he should go to trial; and race or racism plays no part in that.

Check out the M&P's. Something for everyone and American made.

I’ve tried to stay out of a debate with the race baiters; no one ever has or ever will do well in that discussion. I see a whole bunch of racism from the usual suspects, but also from people I would have never thought I would see it coming from. It doesn’t matter whether he was profiling Martin; he didn’t have the authority to profile anyone other than to call 911 and let them handle it. Will either side try to show he was or was not profiling based on race? I don’t know is there people on the witness lists that were stopped by Zimmerman? Have 911 tapes of Zimmerman’s previous calls been subpoenaed? I don’t own a hoodie and I’ve never been called a liberal let alone a libtard. I’m a conservative that believes in law and order, being responsible for your actions, and thinks Zimmerman acted recklessly and it resulted in Martins death. The verdict no longer matters in this case. Zimmerman is now and will for the rest of his life suffer the consequences of his actions; right or wrong. The case will have zero impact on most of us on our abilities to protect ourselves. It may impact some that think they can start whatever they want because they have a gun. If you think that take a look at Zimmerman a couple of years from now; regardless of the verdict.
-
I agree. I would have called whoever I needed to call to get justice if someone murdered my son. George Zimmerman is standing trial because some citizens did not agree with the DA’s decisions. They went to higher authorities who decided to bench him and put in a replacement. Both sides of this are yelling racism; and will be long after the verdict is read. IMO what led this case to trial has little to do with race and a lot to do with citizens not standing for a bad call.

What’s up the reporting of this incident? One story headline makes it sound like vigilante justice while this story makes no mention of a scuffle and makes it sound like he shot the guy while he was running away? http://www.dnj.com/article/20130621/NEWS01/306210023/

Many here would be livid if someone brought up the fact that a gun owner involved in a shooting had smoked pot or talked to their friends about guns. But it seems okay to make those accusations about a murder victim. It’s okay though; open the doors and let the mudslinging begin. Many more people will be able to identify with someone that smoked pot or talked about guns than someone that attacked a Police Officer and had an order of protection taken out against him by his girlfriend because of domestic violence. If character assassination becomes an issue in this trial those facts coupled with Zimmerman’s perjury will destroy him.
