I have asked this in everyone of these insurance threads: Has anyone (that has one of these policy’s) ever accused of a bad shoot, murder or aggravated battery, had their legal fees paid? Other than in ad’s. I don't remember ever getting an answer that can verified. I think a lot of people buy these thinking that if they have a bad shoot; their family will be protected financially. I find it hard to believe that would happen. But I have been wrong before.

Funny story. (Sure, I know it had the potential to be dangerous, but its still funny) 5-year-old Utah boy allegedly takes parent's car in bid to buy Lamborghini in California https://www.foxnews.com/us/following-argument-5-year-old-utah-boy-allegedly-takes-parents-car-in-bid-to-buy-lamborghini-in-california

The price of generators shot up like ammo, you might need to wait awhile. I don’t mean to laugh, but I remember in Illinois we had a very bad ice storm. Power was out to most areas for days. Semi’s pulled into the parking lot of the local Holiday Inn and were selling portable generators at full retail as fast as they could unload them. And people were happy to get them. I think about that on occasion and think I need to get a generator. That was over 30 years ago, and I still haven’t bought that generator.

Yes, you are correct. She was born in Somalia and will not be President. Of course I can see the “Oh my gosh how unfair and racist is that? We need to change the Constitution!” cries now.

Ccw possible denial, what to do next.

I went through the same thing. I was arrested 30 years ago in Illinois for having a gun in my car. The case was dismissed. I never had any trouble buying guns in other states for 20 years, until I came to Tennessee. Twice I was turned down, and then approved on appeal. TBI told me they weren’t allowed to tell me what the charge was. I told them what the charge was, where it was, that it was a misdemeanor that was dismissed, but even f it hadn’t been dismissed it wouldn’t be a disqualifier. They told me it could be a felony in Tennessee. The TBI either couldn’t tell me or didn’t want to tell me how to fix the problem. Illinois said they weren’t reporting anything to Tennessee other than a speeding ticket. So, it must have been the FBI background check. For nearly the price of an FBI background check on myself, I could apply for a C&R FFL, which includes a background check. I did that. They sent me a letter explaining that my arrest in Illinois, didn’t show a disposition. They went on to explain I needed to contact the Circuit Clerks office in the county of the arrest and get a notarized copy of the court records showing the dismissal and submit that. I did that 10 years ago. I have purchased many guns retail and have never had a problem since. I also sent a copy to the BATF and got my C&R FFL. I was glad they took the time to explain what was going on and how to fix it, instead of being azzhats like the TBI. The lady at the Circuit Clerks Office told my daughter she would resubmit the dismissal to the Feds but gave her a couple of extra copies of the paperwork, because she said this happens all the time. So, even though the charges were dismissed, it may be that the dismissal never got reported. Apparently, the other states I was in saw it was a misdemeanor and allowed the purchases, the TBI did not. So, the bottom line is you have to find out whats going on and fix it. The TBI might help you. They didn't help me, but that was over 10 years ago, maybe things have changed. -
Those companies knew what they were doing when they did it. Was it criminal? Probably not, due to clear rules not being outlined. They just didn’t expect the President and the media to out them publicly. That’s what happens when you quickly legislate to pass out free money. It may be necessary to come back and change the rules because some dirt bags will try to take advantage and justify it by saying “That’s business”.

I don’t like IWB either, a quality OWB with a shirt over it works fine for me.

Nothing. Like Garufa said Colt announced last year they will quit selling to the public because they have big U.S. and foreign military contracts. Some think it will be worth more when the supply that is the chain is exhausted. Colt doesn’t care about private citizens; haven’t for years. There are a lot better choices.

one day.... that sure didn't take long. -
It will no doubt be tried here if the democrats get control. It won’t work because our Constitution won’t allow it. What is in danger right now is states bans on AR’s. Until there is a SCOTUS ruling on whether or not their ban is a “reasonable restriction”; they could continue. I don’t think Tennessee would be one of those states; but you never know.

EDIT: Today at Kayleigh McEnany’s first briefing as press secretary, a reporter commented on if Trumps tweet calling them “Very good people”. He said they included heavily armed people, and members of militia groups, and said he wondered if the President was speaking about those specific members that stormed the Capitol when he talked about “very good people”. Dang man, how do these idiots get in that room?

How to legally transport guns to a shooting range?
DaveTN replied to CaliGirl's topic in Handgun Carry and Self Defense
This. You can also carry a loaded handgun in your car without a permit in Tennessee. There are some limitations on vehicle ownership, prohibited persons, etc. Here is the text of the law for you to check yourself. -
I gave up on trying to buy guns locally. Even if I was okay with the $100 to $300 over what I can order it for; and I’m not, they have never been able to tell me when the gun will come in from their distributor, but if I want to give them a deposit they will order it. Do people really do that? I won’t, when I can order it online, get a much better price, and have it in a week. Distributors will be the death of local dealers if it happens, not me. So they need to get that straightened out; I’d like to buy locally.

I don’t do calibers that big, but .308 is my “go to” rifle caliber, and it will usually get the job done. Jerry Miculek is an amazing shooter, gunsmith, instructor, he does it all. Miculek videos are never a waste.

I don’t know, I just saw some at $55 and $75 plus TICS. I guess that means they just want to sell their guns on GB and don’t want to do any transfers.
