Cite him under whatever code they say he is violating and either let him pay the fine or take the case to court and make his free speech arguments. I don’t know why the Police Department is even involved in this. All seems pretty simple to me.

He hasn’t done anything to create new jobs in the private sector or bring companies back to the U.S. So he will create tens of thousands of new job in the government and then use those numbers. Creating his own news empire will just be part of it.

They didn’t refuse him entry. He was escorted by Capitol Police while there. Some Senators think guns should be banned in the Capitol. No one was educated about anything. Does any of that surprise anyone?

I could say the same; but I won’t. You can’t overthrow our government because you don’t like who got elected. I doubt anyone here hates Obama more than I do, I think he is intentionally trying to do as much damage to this country as he can. But he was elected by the people.   We had a chance to get him out and we failed; the people spoke again. That’s why I’m curious how some of these people that want to see an overthrow will change our form of government. The people in office are just an indicator of a much bigger problem; the people that vote them in. You have an idea on how to fix that?   Have you or any of these people suggesting an overthrow thought about what that would be like? Of course you haven’t, or maybe you have and that’s why you know no one is going to do any more than talk about it on the internet. Our founding fathers revolted against a government that was in another country; it’s a little different when you are going to revolt against one of the most powerful governments on earth in their own country. The only way our government will be changed is at the polling booths, any other form of attack will be handled swiftly and decisively.   We will have another chance to clean house in 2014 and 2016. But for the White House my guess is that the Republicans will again be splitting votes with third party candidates that have no chance of winning and we will have another Democrat in the White House.

Those rules only apply under our current government. New government; new rules…. I would assume.

If Patriots are around they won’t have to run anywhere. It’s why a revolt won’t work; Patriots won’t let it happen. If revolutionists decide to take down our nation by force they will die where they make their stand.

How are those people going to get to the white house? Are they going to be elected? If Obama is still alive and the people are still electing their leaders what makes you think he won’t be elected again?

Okay, you have had your revolt. Our government is in ruins and so is the Constitution. What’s left of our manufacturing base is collapsing and we have lost our place in the world economy. Looters are running rampant and the United States (no longer United) is a very dangerous place to be.   We now look to you for our new form of government and reform. What will be different? What form of government will we have? Fill us in.

Zero tolerance always has been out of control. It’s for people that don’t want to do their job.  They don’t want to have to defend their position that this person gets arrested/suspended and this person doesn’t. It’s what happens when you take away discretion. People that use it as an excuse are weak and should not be in those positions of authority or making those kinds of decisions.

Are you willing to submit to a breath test? If you do you will be giving verification of drinking and carrying with no legal limit stated. If you refuse you may well find yourself charged with DUI. It doesn’t really sound like it’s worth it does it?

I agree, but shouldn’t that have been an issue before codes issued permits? I would think if someone applied for a permit to put an outdoor gun range in a residential area those flags should went up then.

Then you have an oddity, that frame should have the 4 line “Marcas Registradas” makings. I have no idea if that makes it worth more, but I would find out.

Interesting. With that serial number with an “S” prefix it is a 1945-1948 M&P. But that would make it Post war. Since it is stamped “Made in USA” that makes it a pre-war; unless the other side has the full 4 line S&W markings.   To be a 1952 S series it would have to be an “N frame”. That doesn't look like an N-frame; is it that big?

The state has the absolute right to keep your DL info away from other agencies. That would mean no reciprocity with other states, or using your TN DL as ID.

Wow…. It’s a discussion. I’m not defending him and how does what I think about cops have anything to do with this? If I can’t post anything without you going into a fit about cops maybe you should put me on your ignore list. That was uncalled for.

I have mixed feelings on this. I don’t see a threat; the woman saying she fears for her children is ridiculous. We have seen statements posted publically that were threatening to the point local LE and the FBI went to the homes of those making the statements. Many here were outraged that could happen, as it was his first amendment rights.   He obviously hasn’t thought the issue through if thinks disarming law abiding citizens will stop criminals and the mentally unbalanced from killing people. But it’s just an opinion for discussion. These are college students, they are at an age they need to be able to make up their own minds about what they hear; and I think they will. Firing him would make him a martyr and be a serious blow to the first amendment.

I don’t come from that crowd at all; I’ve seen plenty of innocent people get hammered. I believe that anything that will be used as an apprehension or enforcement tool shouldn’t be a bad thing just because in someone’s wildest dreams it could be used for evil…. I feel the same way about guns.

Does it need to be laser cut? If not, you might also check around for a water jet.

I love me some technology. I just can’t see how IDing someone at a border crossing or looking for a suspect in a crowd is tyranny or a Police State…. Just can’t make that leap. I feel the same way about this I did when folks were whining about ONSTAR. If I crash and I am unconscious my car can call for help. I’m supposed to pass on that because some man in black somewhere might use it to track my vehicle?
