He didn’t judge anyone. He was asked a question which he responded to. He didn’t single out gays he also included bestiality, those who sleep around, adulterers, the greedy, the drunks, the slanderers and the swindlers. I find it interesting that if your beliefs aren’t in line with some on here you are a hater, bigot or dumbass. Anyway, a line has been drawn in the sand. The issue is not an attack on gays it is an attack on a man’s personal religious beliefs. We will see how it pans out.

Forget the trading with a dealer, that will only waste your time; sell it yourself. Put it up for sale at whatever price you want. If it sells you are good to go, if it doesn’t; it isn’t worth that. The buyer goes with you to the Credit Union and gets the title; no drawn out process.

I don’t think so. If they did all they would have to do is say he isn’t being pulled from the show and that would be the end of it. A+E has a mega hit on their hands, but it is because of that family.

Wow. Now we are bigots if our religious beliefs tell us being gay is wrong, but we accept our gay friends and give our opinions about it when asked?

States that were part of the Confederate States of America, tax, affirmative actions, descendants of African slaves, GPS, terrorists, ammo limits...... That has to be a joke; no one person could be that ignorant.

Unless there is something more to the story that we don’t know yet, the shooter will be headed to prison. The media isn't always real interested in getting the full story.

I didn’t know Nashville even had a Morton’s. They are one of my favorite Steak Houses. I’m glad to see that Morton’s Management stepped up and tried to make things right instead of covering it up. The customer is this is satisfied, so that’s good enough for me. Employees can be ignorant; that’s what happened here. If I boycotted everywhere that had stupid employees I would have to stay home all the time. If the company supported the actions of their employees I could see an issue; but they clearly did not do that, and tried to make it right.

Dave, with all due respect you sound like the people that want to disarm us. The world is a dangerous place. If a person is willing to give their life (and most mass shooters are), and they want to kill your child they will do it no matter what kind of barriers the schools put up. They can’t lock down a school so the kids can’t get out; you were a fireman you know that. So someone opens a door; it’s that simple. They could also do it at your home while you watch. My children didn’t grow up fearful of everything around them and I don’t want my Grandchildren to grow up that way either. Your children have far greater possibilities of being killed traveling to and from school than by a school shooter. But we don’t transport them in tanks…. Yet.

This shows that guns need to be in schools. The only thing that will stop an active shooter is another active shooter. This deputy being there and reacting the way he did saved lives.   So a background check had nothing to do with this. Not that it would stop them from getting a gun anyway, but have any of these shooters been people that would have been refused a purchase?

Give us a name of who that was. I’m going to go out on a limb here and say his actions and not the fact he had an FFL caused his problems.

The “TSA loose change act” Really? That would be laughable if our economy wasn’t going down the drain while legislators are worried about who gets the gum money.

Any secure facilities the general public has access to there will be people that are armed. Schools, Hospital, Courthouses, they all have someone with a gun in them.

This. If I am reading the story right he was convicted. So the parent’s money didn’t buy him a “dream team” legal defense team. This case is so outrageous it appears to me a Judge had to be bought.

Cool. I would guess a lot of pain and probably some broken bones were involved in learning how to do that.

Criminals are criminals no matter what state they live in. Statisticians compile data. Analysts, politicians, the media and even forum members then manipulate that data to show whatever it is they are trying to show. Guns vs. crime, drugs vs. violence, DUI enforcement vs. traffic fatalities and injuries, etc. You can look at the raw data and make your own conclusions, or you can read stories written by both those with and without an agenda (although it’s pretty hard to find someone writing an article without and agenda). If you don’t agree with what the data shows; just claim that the data collection process is wrong or that the person delivering it is wrong.
