Your hatred of public school systems and your tirades about them is not rational. Where does all this hate come from? Did you attend public schools? If so, what happened to you?

I think the Tennessee Snowmobiling Association is a very small group. Knowing what a snowmobile is because you saw one on Discovery Channel doesn’t count for much.

What you are missing is metallurgy. You just discovered that not all springs are created equal. It depends on what the spring is made out of and how it is tempered. You can get bad springs, or bad heat treat. Any time you see someone making blanket statements about things involving metallurgy, physics or ballistics you should be skeptical. Is a magazine that has been in storage for thirty years good to go? No, but that doesn’t mean it won’t work when you try it. Here a couple of other blanket statements that I can assure you are false: Dry firing won’t hurt your gun. Steel case ammo won’t hurt your rifle.

I don’t know how they specifically work it now in this modern age of information exchange, but it used to be the news media looked at the Police and Fire logs. They also monitored emergency frequencies. Not much gets pass them.

You implied it in Post #68 you even made it RED. When anyone suggests that there won’t be gun confiscation it will be a race to see if Katrina, Hitler, or Nazi’s will be used first.

Absolutely. How many innocent kids have we killed in war? War is brutal; kids and innocent people get killed. A terrorist was killed and his terrorist son was killed. I just could not care any less. Our kids are being sent home in boxes and I’m supposed to be concerned about a murdering terrorist? I’m not. Can we produce more of these drones and arm them better so we don’t have to put as many troops in danger? Drones don’t check birth certificates or to see if your papers are in order. Don’t be the target of a drone.

Would he have done that to a bear? Doubtful he would have waited for it to move. What a waste; I think he should be charged.

The executive branch is having some problems right now, but the majority of the people put than man there and we will have to deal with it. I fear no man, and especially not a cop or a military man. We have people getting all worked up about something that may or may not happen in Connecticut. While here in own state we have this happening. If you have a group of adults that call themselves “The School Board” and they have met in a room and decided that this is okay…. You have a serious problem with your school board. Zero tolerance is for people that are not capable of doing their jobs.

Show me the complaints; it didn’t happen. No searches went down without cause; a warrant is not always needed. You don’t see any Boston citizens complaining; just people on forums that weren’t there. Hitler was in Nazi Germany, Connecticut is in the United States. You may believe that the cops will kick in doors and scare people into compliance; but I do not. What Connecticut is doing is wrong; they will have to be told that, either by the voters at the polls or by the courts. Anything is possible, but without exigent circumstances or plain view, they need a warrant to kick a door on a house. One incident is all it would take. I believe they will make these arrests as they come into contact with these weapons and owners. Traffic stops, Domestic violence calls, burglary calls, house fires, etc. A person threatening to kill cops doesn’t scare anyone. Vanderboegh will soon be in prison or a mental institution. He’s just another one of these nut cases that thinks he wants a war. He would die where he makes his stand; as a criminal. But he won’t; he’s just a bunch on noise.

This proposed legislation changes nothing about HCP permits. This will have no impact on reciprocity.   They don’t have the authority. That “change” in Federal law would require "new" Federal law taking gun control out of the hands of the states and giving it to the Feds. Nothing about that sounds good to me.

That’s why you run a daily backup with Acronis; you don’t have to re-setup and install everything. Also, after you set-up a new OS (or new computer), do all the updates, get everything set-up the way you want it, install your apps etc… you create an image of that and save it. Then when you have problems instead of using the factory install; you use that.

This. If you installed an image of a corrupt windows install with Acronis; that what you will get. But If you used an Acornis factory restore image (should be there if you imaged the drive with Acronis); its not a corrupt OS.
