  1. Certainly, but you would think even if they lost total control they would have time to get out a mayday. It’s almost as though they hit something or exploded. I’m not jumping on the “bomb” bandwagon, but it appears to be a possibility. The timeline is confusing to me. It appears they were far beyond the Gulf of Thailand?
  2. There you have it. Although that’s the 2nd one recently I have seen where someone put a gun to their head and pulled the trigger top prove it’s safe. Suicide made to appear to be an accident for insurance money??
  3. I’m a technology junkie; I find it hard to believe a 777 airliner dropped from over 35K feet and that location and time is not documented somewhere. If this is true; they aren’t even searching anywhere near the right place.
  4. Smith & Wesson SW1911 or Kimber Stainless TLE II in that price range. Why is someone trying to talk you out of a 1911, is it a carry gun?
  5. If the Police are all in agreement what’s his problem with them? Are his comments because of Vances’ comments during the phone call with that nutty woman?
  6. So are all cars a liability because someone can steal them and have a wreck? Another thing that is good dies over the threat of a lawsuit.
  7. Teaching responsibility is not turning your back on your country by threatening to kill Americans because you don’t get your way. We have process in place.   Not hardly, teach them that when cowards threaten to kill you because they don’t agree with what is going on; take them out with extreme prejudice. That is how you deal with terrorists.
  8. And had they fought that war in England they would have been quickly put down and the survivors hanged. That is what would happen to traitors here.   If you want to start your own country you can try it; but it won’t be here.   Of course, the Patriots would quickly kill the rebels. So I’m pretty sure it will end badly for anyone deciding to start killing Americans. I do not agree with what they are doing in CT. But we have a Constitution and a process in place to deal with those situations. Those trying to circumvent that process with force are traitors and will be dealt with quickly. Of course all this talk of rebellion and taking up arms is ridiculous; it’s not going to happen.
  9. Are you volunteering to test it?
  10. You have a responsibility to your family that far exceeds any responsibility you have to commit crimes based on your interpretation of laws you feel violate the Constitution. Also, you don’t get to pick and choose; we have a procedure we follow for alleged violations.
  11. We have already done that. The state won’t help the Feds enforce new gun laws. That won’t help you if you are the poor SOB they catch. Our state doesn’t recognize the 2nd amendment as an individual right. So why is it an issue? We have what we have because of States Rights. As long as we stick with that we are good. I think the Feds have already seen that they are going to outlaw EBR's.
  12. No we don’t; their ammo is junk and so are their guns. Claiming stuff is good just because it is cheap is what got us in this mess. I may have to buy foreign made TV’s and computers, but I sure don’t have to buy foreign made guns or ammo.
  13. I thought if I was arrested for having a gun in my car I would fight it on 2nd amendment grounds. That was way up there with the stupidest things I have done in my life. But it made it crystal clear to me I don’t have a right to bear arms. There is a whole lot of difference on being arrested for a misdemeanor pot or gun charge and a Federal weapons charge. Federal prison time…. Thanks, but I’ll pass. I wouldn’t read too much into the SCOTUS not hearing a case; it doesn’t mean they agree with the lower court. They will have 10K cases submitted a year; they will hear under 100 of those. The TFFA was passed into law in 2009; I’m not sure why it hasn’t been challenged in court yet unless it requires someone being charged to challenge it? As a C&R license holder I got a letter from the BATF that said they do not recognize it.
  14. A ground war between superpowers is not even an option. We will stand by and watch as Putin does whatever he likes.
  15. If I was a gun owner in CT I would want the Leo’s on my side in getting this legislation overturned, and even asking them not to enforce it. Threatening to shoot cops is about the dumbest freaking thing I can think of for them to do. I know it’s just hot air coming from keyboard cowboys, but it isn’t helping anyone.
  16. I remember the days of school locker “inspections”. But we didn’t have vehicle inspections without PC.
  17. Could he have just said no? Do they not need PC in Clarksville?
  18. They are from here; it’s an American product.
  19. I have never been shot with a paint ball gun before, but I’ve been hit in the sack. Did that make him puke?
  20. I ran across one hell of a lot of guns on things like domestic violence and burglary calls. I think that’s how they will get most of these people.
  21. I didn’t mention the TFA until Worriedman made his condescending remark about me by name. If he wants to make fun of me and then blame us because we didn’t start firing off checks to John Harris; so be it.   Go back to the start of this thread and read my post. This thread was for ideas on how to help this bill. You may well be the power broker for politics in Tennessee, but I refuse to believe the non-sense you are spouting.   I didn’t make any insinuations about money; you did. Don’t you dare try to make it look like I have accused you of any improprieties about money. You made the statement that if the hunters would have ponied up the money we could get this bill through. Why you picked the hunters instead of the HCP holders, I don’t know but I don’t care either. Of course they don’t know who I am; why would they? I’m just a guy trying to see if we can get some traction for a change in the law we all want. I thought I was helping, excuse me for being so stupid about how things are done. I’ll be quiet now and watch to see if you and Robert are going to lead, follow or get out of the way.
  22. I desperately want to invest in this, but I can’t get the PM to go through. Please send me your DOB and the last four of your SS number.
  23. I don't read it that way?? http://rt.com/news/navy-chief-ukraine-crimea-485/
  24. Well crap that sucks. I have never bought any of that junk or fired a round through any gun I own. But that will drive up the price of the good stuff when the junk gets shut off. It appears that ammo is going to be like gas; any reason or no reason at all will result in a price increase.
  25. Okay, I’m not sure what that was all about. If I was contacted by the Murfreesboro PD or Rutherford County’s Sherriff office and they wanted me to come in; I would go. As I have said before I do not fear the government, or the Police... I also know enough to know that if I am suspected of committing a crime and refuse to cooperate they will find me and it may not be at the best time (at work). This guy’s claim that it is to keep him from testifying at this meeting makes me think he is a nut case. Of course that is just based on reading that article. I could be wrong, it could be a grand conspiracy between the State Police and the DA.
