  1. I still find this laughable. Any good machinist could build guns that actually work. 3D printing is great technology; but not for making firearms. But let’s add some kind of special cost or tax to it to make the cost of stuff made in this country more expensive.
  2. I want an M&P. But I’m waiting for a heavy barrel and hopefully a quad rail offering.
  3. A few days ago a WOLF spokesman said this is an internet hoax; has that changed? This does not impact me as I don’t buy any foreign ammo, but if this is a hoax those that do buy it will pay dearly. In some way it will cause our ammo made here to increase in cost, at least on the vendors end, and will also cause the price of gas to increase.
  4. I shot K & L frames in competition. There isn’t a Tupperware gun I own or have shot that will compete with them. Everyone should own at least one.
  5. See what happens when you get old.
  6. This is 2013; everything is tracked. I believe someone knows where that plane was or about where it went down. Do I think it’s at an air strip somewhere? No, that would require too many people to keep their mouths shut. Do I think Boeing knows where it is? No, I don’t think they would run the risk of the public outrage if it was discovered they knew, and it would be discovered. This isn’t some clandestine military operation gone wrong; it’s a world event involving a civilian airliner. People would come forward; even employees of the company that made the plane. It would only take one person to do what's right.
  7. This is silly. Why unionize when you in reality don’t have the right to strike? Players in a College union strike and they are dead to the NFL. I don’t see this going anywhere. No need for doom and gloom. I predict College sports will be okay.
  8. No they don’t or they would have said where it is.
  9. Then you have a valid (to you) reason don’t you?
  10. Term limits won’t fix anything. All you will have is more politicians with nothing to lose being cycled through at a faster rate. We get to vote for who we want and if they do their job we get to keep them in office.
  11. The Titanic never sank. The Olympic was disguised and sank on purpose as the Titanic for an insurance claim. The real Titanic then became the Olympic and sailed for 25 more years. No one died; it was all made up. They know that know but don’t want to release the information because we have such a great movie about it.
  12. Not his, he got one that was sent out while they were testing some Chinaman springs.
  13. What’s hypocritical is suggesting that we would boycott an American gun company because a state government is putting the screws to them. Ruger still makes a quality product at a decent price. Recently when I wanted a lower cost 1911 I bought a quality Ruger SR1911 instead of that junk out of the Philippines with the Ruger not costing much more. On one side of my SR1911 it says MADE IN USA, on the other side it’s says PRESCOTT, AZ. So I don’t know that much of the money goes to CT. I haven’t bought a foreign made gun in over 30 years, haven’t needed to, and hopefully I will never need to. Smith & Wesson, Ruger, Remington, I hope American companies like that keep up the good work. EDIT: I’ll add this. Remington and Beretta didn’t run; they expanded. There are many valuable and loyal employees that have worked for those companies for many years. The employees and the company is entrenched in the community; their community. I would think less of the company if they turned their backs on their employees over a political battle. They aren’t giving to the state; they are giving to the people that helped put them were they are today. If someone was trying to run you out of your home would you turn and run or stay and fight? Sorry, but these companies need our help; not us turning our backs on them and judging them. They are our companies.
  14. That’s what the anti-gun folks want you to do. Why in the world would we turn on our own?
  15. As you make your plans, See if you can get some decent hotel rates for those of us from the MidState or West Tennessee that want to come.
  16. Quads and Video… I stumbled into these two videos. I found them interesting and funny. part 1 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lgUM0vTIt04&index=2&list=PLH-9Gsvx-gC40sYbz4nvw8B-v67tk-LMX Part 2 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ys4Re5No0Lo
  17. Why gas? Everyone I talk to says go electric?? Here's a link I found interesting. http://www.rchelicopterfun.com/quadrocopter.html This looks pretty cool in the $500 price range. It can carry a Hero 3 camera. http://www.redrockethobbies.com/blade-quadcopter-with-GPS-p/blh7800a.htm This looks cool at $200, can’t carry a Hero 3 but has a camera built in. http://www.redrockethobbies.com/BLADE-180-QX-HD-RTF-p/blh7400.htm
  18. Even when you have agreed to the terms in a written contract and the government is not involved in the enforcement?
  19. My friend just bought a Savage Flux truck. http://www.hpiracing.com/en/kit/104240
  20. My friend is into RC trucks, I am tempted but $600-$800 is a lot of coinage for a toy. I think a helicopter or a quad copter would be cool. I’d fly it over some of these guys houses and see if they have the ability to shoot it down.
  21. As someone that has responded to both suicides and homicides I can say that is a true statement. People that use guns in a suicide attempt are usually successful. People with homicidal tendencies that have access to guns more than likely will be successful. That’s just an observation from responding to those calls; no facts or figures to back that up.
