  1. Not exactly, but looks close to a Norgon Ambi-Catch.
  2. Both VFW and American Legion are private organizations and the local chapters set their rules. On a search I see that some ban the carry of firearms while others do not. Most of the discussion has to do with alcohol and state laws, which does not pertain to you. I would check with them. They would need to be properly posted for it to be a legal concern, or they may simply ask you to abide by their wishes to use their facility.
  3. Are you an HCP holder? If so you get special consideration.
  4. He did it at Vanderbilt also. I would like to thank the Gallatin PD for not backing down from a nut case carrying a gun and checking him for ammo. Unfortunately he backed down the Vanderbilt guy. Apparently Tennessee doesn’t have a law against yelling obscenities in public?
  5. Guns & Drugs...Won’t end well for those guys.
  6. We will see. Zimmerman has a reputation for pulling guns on innocent people; that will probably be key in his downfall.
  7. Both are a requirement.
  8. I’m surprised this idiot made it a week after the trial. I would guess the victim is telling the truth, I think Zimmerman has the attitude he is above the law. That will probably work out for him like it did for OJ; or worse when he crosses the wrong people. I would assume pointing a gun at someone and threatening to shoot them is a felony in Florida. I wonder why he wasn’t arrested, or if he will be later.
  9. I wonder why?
  10. Don’t know anything about him, but the OP in this thread does what you are looking for. Might PM him about the shipping issues. http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/81629-mp9-fans/?hl=cerakote
  11. This. It's happened to quite a few people here. And if you don't deal with it, it will happen again. Contact the county clerk or the court clerk where the offense occurred and see if the disposition is being reported.
  12. Says it all right there and it should not be allowed to happen.
  13. You can't get a gag order against a rape victim.
  14. Sorry for your loss. I had to put mine down last year, but he will be waiting for me at Rainbow Bridge.
  15. Now let’s see if we can persuade the DA to make an example by playing a game called “Point them out, send them to prison.”   I figured if you pull a weapon to protect yourself you better be ready for incoming rounds. I bet there was more than one gun in that crowd of thugs.
  16. No, you should shoot the people attacking you. No.
  17. This thing stinks. “Undercover” Officers don’t generally make themselves known. Threat of a SWAT team?? Emailing lists?? Narcotics Enforcement Unit?? I will be curious to see if NY State Police comment. And a request for money.
  18. I’d cut about a 2” thick stack out on a wire EDM machine and either take them to an engraver or engrave an electrode and burn the engraved detail on a sinker EDM. I tend to over complicate things also.
  19. When you attack an innocent person and seriously injure them it is a hate crime. I don’t care what their color is. I have always found the “hate crime” statutes laughable. Those people that knocked that man down, beat him and kicked him should have to do prison time. The fact that you are white, black, Latino, or your daddy wasn’t around doesn’t get you a pass. I also think that one of these days these thugs will attack the wrong person and bodies will start dropping. And I’ll bet anything that because someone turns to run and catches a round in the back some community members will want to put him (or her) on trial.

  21. There isn’t much else those businesses can do other than picks sides. Not one of those businesses has enacted a policy that keeps me from carrying.

  23. Absolutely, but that doesn’t apply to traffic enforcement as a whole.
  24. My guess would be that she has people around her helping her get her head straight. She may also fear there will be serious repercussions if he is guilty and walks. She knows whether he did it to her or not. God help her and her sister. Of course this is all speculation and wild azz guesses on our part based on what the media is putting out. We really don’t know yet what she has said or what she will say to investigators.
  25. I don’t doubt what you say, I just suspect your friend saying an armed robbery at her business was not investigated or that she told them who did it and they did nothing sounds like BS. I don’t know why a County Deputy would be sitting on the interstate, but I see it all the time in Tennessee and Kentucky. I also see Nashville Metro working accidents on the interstates; so I have to assume they have jurisdiction. In the state I was in the State Police took care of the interstates and we didn’t go on them to bag tickets; we also didn’t work accidents unless we were helping out the State Troopers with traffic or back-up. You have an administration problem and a DA traffic division problem if you have cops writing tickets out of their jurisdiction, or even out of their patrol area. Make a complaint. When tickets go to court doesn’t the Officer testify that he had jurisdiction where the offense occurred? No, I don’t think traffic enforcement is about money. If it was they would lay-off a bunch of cops and buy a bunch more cameras. Do good people get pulled over and ticketed for minor traffic offenses? Of course they do. But they know they are violating the law and being unsafe. Speeding, texting, improper lane usage. When they get caught some whine about it some don’t. When they kill or seriously injure someone they call it an accident instead of recklessness or negligence.
