Nonsense. Nothing keeps you from sending your children to private schools. But many people can’t afford that and children need formal education more now than ever to be able to compete in life. Social skills, religion and moral and ethical attitudes is part of that. If you don’t agree with what they see and hear in school then you do something about it at home; you don’t fire the principal because he suggested a prayer. Many parents teach their children they are entitled and protected by the laws and the Constitution, and that they don’t have to answer to anyone. Nothing is further from the truth and they find that out when they get out in the workplace. You can’t fire everyone you don’t agree with and in the case I doubt the parents or the students would stand for. Firing a principal for suggesting a prayer? I can think of some places and some times where that would not have surprised me. But most of us in this country haven’t fallen that far yet.
-
Had the principal not backed down from the ACLU he should have been given a citizens award. The good news is he won't be fired; the citizens won't allow it. Don't forget who the Constitution was written by and for.

So what’s your point? You think that if in some way shape or form some “government official†made a suggestion and the cheerleaders thought it was good idea, that now they are forever barred from having 1st amendment rights in this matter?
-
Buds has a list on their website of dealers that are already registered with them; might check that out.
-
What part of that story violates any law? Are you completely discounting what the Cheerleader said? Yep, RIF
-
Okay, I’ll play. Read these two comments out loud and then go read the statements of the Cheerleader. No government agency is leading or forcing anything on anyone. Are you saying she is lying? Apparently hard for some.
-
There seems to be dispute about who is doing this. This statement makes be believe the school administration may have had a moment of silence but the Cheerleaders didn’t think that was enough and took it farther. Isn’t it safe to assume this is not driven by the government, but is freedom of religion and speech?

If they won’t move with a hammer and punch I wouldn’t put the slide on a hydraulic press. It may bend or break the slide. You might try a manual press, but you are getting up there in way too much pressure. Did you try heat on the slide around the sight?

Smoking haters are like gun haters; don’t bother them with facts. I believe that a business has the right to ban whatever they like within reason, guns, cigarettes, liquor, requiring shirts, shoes, etc. I doubt the owner put that sign up without considering what it would do to his bottom line; just like those that put up gun signs. That is his right. I doubt that either will impact a business’s bottom line enough to see a difference; but that is their choice. They want to make a statement and they have paid for the right. I just have a problem when the government does it with total disregard for the owner or business.

I hope you are right, but it sounds like the school administration has been forced into submission. The ACLU and other groups will attack anything that stands up for morals and against the breakdown of society and the family unit. They have fought against prayer in schools for decades, but now are fighting for allowing Muslims to pray in school. So that tells you where they stand. If the cheerleaders, the players, or the students want to have a prayer; so be it. Either participate or sit and be quiet. I fail to see why this would be an issue for the heathens or the atheists, unless it makes them feel bad about themselves. Attempting to crush Christianity isn’t the answer. Again, before anyone starts yelling “separation of church and state†do your history research. It was not an attempt to ban religion from the government. Congress may not be making a law, but the intent of the first amendment clear. Government (the school board) is violating the first amendment rights of those students if they try to stop prayer. I hope you stand together and tell the ACLU to go pound sand.

Ignorance knows no bounds. You know how many knuckle draggin’ rednecks I’ve had make stupid comments about Yankees when I told them I was Illinois? Yet those same rednecks heads almost explode when I tell them the SCOTUS can’t tell them they can strap on a gun and walk down the street; it’s a violation of States Rights. Who you are or what you believe is not defined by where you are from. The Jews weren’t the only ones that were tortured and killed during the war. And the Nazi’s weren’t the only bad guys; the Japanese were every bit as brutal. But its history; we should know it, we should remember it and we should teach our children the truth. I don’t think people that collect historical memorabilia necessarily align themselves with the group they are collecting. I collect guns, many people don’t understand why, don’t like it, and want to stop it.

Great pics. I bet he has some hair raising tales to go with those bear pics. -
Its a UPS policy. From their website:

DA’s don’t look at any of that non-sense unless you shoot and innocent person or bystander and they are looking at other criminal charges. They don’t care what gun, or ammo you used or when, where or if you qualified or even have an HCP. They need to answer the question of whether or not you were justified. Now, all kinds of ridiculous questions can be raised in a civil action. But a lawyer asking stupid questions doesn’t make them an issue. If people worried half as much about how they drive their cars as they do gun issues; the road would be a much better place. Much more likely to find yourself in a civil or criminal action about how you drive than how you handle a gun. Don’t use your sights, and try point instinct shooting the next time you are at the range; it may save your life.

I find WWII very interesting and even went to the 60th anniversary of Pearl Harbor for a vacation. It would be tough to disregard everything that had to do with the Nazi’s. I don’t buy foreign guns but I sure wouldn’t pass up a change to buy a Nazi gun. I wouldn’t care if anyone liked it or not; it’s history. I might ask them though what kind of car they have; better not be a ricer. The Jews put up a big holocaust museum, so I think it’s acceptable for the rest of us. "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it"

I would guess when the smoke clears there will be lawyers with more money and no new machine guns out there. That’s just a guess though. -
The swastika that was adopted as a symbol of the Nazi party would be a facsimile of the original ancient swastika.

I have that in my Suburban and if I was going to intentionally drive into an area where I expected to draw fire I would have a couple of extra volunteers for gunners.

He desperately wants the Police to detain him. As Gallatin PD showed him, that will continue to happen. I don’t know why some cops seem to fear telling him, yes, he is being detained, and no, he is not free to leave. He is known to the cops, he has had his HCP pulled as a potential danger to the public, and he is carrying a rifle. Short of being an active shooter probable cause doesn’t get much better. He obviously has mental issues, I would guess he will either push this to the point of obstruction/resisting or he will end up being involuntarily taken into the mental health system.

How did you guys that sent yours back get your return shipping label? I expected it to be in the box they sent me, but it’s not. I don’t see anything attached to the email other than links to the website and a tracking number for the empty box.

That clearly is a destructive device used by terrorists. Answer the door; it’s Homeland Security.
