  1. Anyone using one yet?
  2. All dealers don’t pay the same price for their guns; the big boys pay less so they can sell for less. But I’ve not had a dealer that had a gun in stock that wouldn’t come close to (or in one case) beats Buds price. Usually I order on-line because the dealers don’t have what I want.
  3. Can you legally carry a gun in the U.S.? If not there are a few states that will throw you in jail you need to be aware of; Tennessee is one of them.
  4. I ordered a 12 pack from Surefire; they are supposed to have a 10 year shelf life. You can probably find them cheaper though.
  5. Glad you got him back. But now you are going to have to buy him a camel.
  6. It’s ridiculous that you to pay attorneys and have “trusts” setup to buy a suppressor that should cost $50.
  7. Nonsense, not everyone exposed to any virus contracts it. The fact that everyone in Africa isn’t dead doesn’t mean it couldn’t be airborne.   Have you read what different medical professionals are saying? No one can prove that it is or is not contracted through the air.   I have no want or desire to believe one way or the other but I know BS when I hear it, and we aren’t getting good information form the CDC or the white house.
  8. It isn’t “what people want to believe”; it’s getting the facts. Ebola not being airborne is not a fact and is in dispute by many medical professionals including those that have studied it for years. But now that Obama has appointed an Ebola Czar who is a professional political worker that has absolutely no medical training; we surely will get good info.
  9. Nice find. 9mm out of a 44 oz stainless revolver should feel like shooting a BB gun.
  10. I don’t need a compact .22, but I hope this means they may eventually build the full size here. I need one for my M&P collection.
  11. The GoPro Hero 4 has been released. I’m pretty disappointed. They said they would keep the price the same and it would have an LCD back for active viewing. The top of the line “Black” edition doesn’t have an LCD screen. They added $100 ($500) to it and took away the remote (now $80 option) that was included with the previous edition. Apparently when shooting in 4K-30 the LCD would cause a heat problem. So instead of turning off the LCD in that mode with the OS; they removed the LCD all together. The Silver edition is $400 with no remote, but has an LCD screen and it appears to me the only difference is that it is 4K-15 instead of 30. Because of the LCD I will probably buy the Silver edition. I’m just going to be using this for general use. I’m not familiar with 4K video. Is the frame rate difference a big deal? Would 4K video even make a difference on a monitor or an HD non 4K TV? I thought these would be hard to get, but they are available everywhere. I wonder if the price will drop back down. Comparison: http://shop.gopro.com/compare?category=cameras
  12. Alcohol will cause some people to do stupid things. And some people were just born stupid. I don’t know which is the case here; but it cost him.
  13. The shooter was sentenced to life without parole. http://www.cbsnews.com/news/michael-dunn-loud-music-shooter-gets-life-in-prison/
  14. I don’t see it that way. The bill (if approved) would simply amend the Constitution to allow the legislature to do whatever they like on the abortion issue. They could ban abortion totally even in cases of rape or where the mother’s life is in danger, or they could allow all abortions unrestricted. No matter what your beliefs are on abortion; this is a roll of the dice. I don’t base my interpretations on how some other group wants to vote.
  15. I bought mine when CMP sold a bunch of them. But I think most of us that were buying them were buying because they are a real piece of history that served the military and could have even been used in combat. If I was spending $1100 on a rifle it wouldn’t be a M1 carbine and certainly not a copy.
  16. You don’t have to get confrontational. I would pay a reward to get my dog back; they wouldn’t even have to ask. But if I thought I was being scammed I would simply call the law and have them come out. It’s your property and you don’t have to pay to get him back unless you desire to do so.
  17. No country on earth can “contain” this. The only answer will be a cure or vaccine.
  18. I think the value of my real Inland just went up.
  19. I don’t think charging sales tax will be an issue; every gun store in the state does it. Every gun I have ordered from buds was because either my local dealers didn’t have it or they had it priced crazy. Transfer fees vs. sales tax won’t be a big enough difference to matter. Pricing and availability will be the key. Maybe I’m wrong but from what others have said that try to buy from them, they want to use the “Buds” name but when it comes to pricing they don’t have Buds pricing. But I haven’t been there so I’m just going by what I see posted.
  20. Beltman. Everyday wear whether I’m carrying or not.
  21. They didn't have a gun; it was a sammich. Under privileged teens carrying sammich’s are being shot at an alarming rate. It has got to stop!
  22. A republican would have shot them instead of exchanging shots with them.
  23. Why? You will have backlash and slop.
  24. Obviously not in nearly the condition, but it looks like this…. http://www.gunsinternational.com/EXTREMELY-RARE-WINCHESTER-DOUBLE-BARREL-MATCH-SHOTGUN.cfm?gun_id=100474059&CFID=7508467&CFTOKEN=b60795cf1db22e9c-C2B55C73-90B1-1C33-46130EB260B90412
