  1. When you have so much advertising crap on your web site it’s hard to find the information I clicked on it for, or if you are a news site and you think you are going to force me to watch a video advertisement… you are wrong, I’ll click back and head somewhere else. It’s your job to get advertisement dollars, but when you interrupt the flow; you are an idiot. That is all.
  2. Not his kid. Being arrested would be the least of his worries if he beat my kid. But obviously he isn’t worried about that.
  3. If I'm not mistaken it was a member here that did that.
  4. I hate to use the word “senseless” because all murders by criminals are senseless, but as much of it as I have seen cases like this still leave me shaking my head. There was no need to shoot the victim, makes me wonder if the thug in training was either on a suicide mission or just wants to spend the rest of his life in prison.
  5. What’s wrong with it? Did you not get a kiss?

    My first AR

Now you need a 308 AR.
  7. I own several M&P’s and have owned several others. They are as good as a $400-500 Tupperware gun gets. Everyone will have their opinion; some hate them others love them. Many departments have gone with the M&P and many more will. Some will change from the M&P to something else. But to say PD’s are dumping them is as ridiculous as saying they are all dumping 9mm or 40S&W ammo. If you like collecting go with the M&P; I’m trying to collect the whole family. I have a full size 40, Compact 40, Shield 40, M&P15T and M&P15-22. I’m waiting on a heavier barrel with a quad rail to get the M&P 308. I don’t have any aftermarket parts on mine, haven’t needed any, but I don’t know what’s available for the Glock that’s not available for the M&P. Shoot them both and look them over closely for fit and function. I wouldn’t buy used or Police trade-ins if you can save up awhile longer and get new. It’s not fair to judge a guns performance unless you know its history.
  8. Painting guns... It should be a crime.
  9. The Tennessean is a liberal rag in an area where the target market of those that buy newspapers is probably mostly conservative. It’s a shame that it’s the areas only daily newspaper.
  10. When CCI mini mags can set on the shelf for more than a day; the .22 shortage is officially over.
  11. Then the guy you are quoting is the guy to talk to.
  12. Who in the Murfreesboro area is doing transfers for $20 total?
  13. I’m pretty firm in my beliefs and outspoken on most issues, but I don’t mind saying I just can’t seem to get on either side of the abortion issue. I believe abortion is immoral and wrong. However, I have interviewed several rape victims and I think it’s immoral and wrong to force them to have a baby by someone that brutally attacked them and damaged them physically and mentally. A mother’s life is at risk with a pregnancy and she can’t have an abortion, the family just watches her die? I can’t get on board with that either. So I guess I’m for leaving it up to the people that are dealing with it to decide.

    Handgun purchase

You can’t. You need a Tennessee ID. FOID is only for Illinois residents in Illinois.
  15. I’m pretty sure Tennessee can do this....David Sarti??
  16. It’s mostly cosmetic. Muzzle and throats may gage better; but they don’t hold fast on that. I don’t know if you still can, but I drove down to Anniston both times and picked mine out. I went through the racks and had them gage them for me; they were all real helpful. I put a Wenig walnut stock on mine and would again, so I would be more interested in the barrel and receiver than a pretty stock.
  17. I carry autos and revolvers both, but I haven’t owned a 9mm in 25 years. I do have a model 36, so I will say .38+P. .357mag gets stuffed in anything it will fit in. All semi autos are .40S&W or .45ACP.
  18. From Surefire... http://www.surefire.com/battery-faqs
  19. The Berretta mags are a good idea. The mags are the weak part of my original M1 Carbine. Their prices are more in line than the other company that is making a copy.
  20. Well, I can assure you that as soon as I buy one they will either drop that $100 they added or include the remote. I have had the wife watching for deals, but of course since it just was released a couple of weeks ago there aren’t any. But everyone has them there isn’t any shortage.
  21. Well, that’s what I was wondering. In an application other than trying to video a bullet is there much noticeable difference in 4K 15 fps and 4K 30 FPS or 1440p 80 and 1440p 48. What happens if you video in 4K and view it on an HD TV that is not 4K?
  22. I have done most of my research and I’m locked in on GoPro. Most of those reviews say the same thing; you can buy cheaper, but you can’t buy better.
  23. I don’t know if you can have it at your age or not, but open carrying any weapon can bring you more attention than you may want.
  24. I would let S&W deal with it again. I’m sure they regret ever getting involved with Walther, and their support reputation has taken a hit over it, but their support is 2nd to none. If the gun needs to go back to Walther (if that’s where it even came from) I’m sure they would do that; otherwise I would think they will fix it.
  25. Used guns most everywhere are priced as much or more than new; might as well buy new. The gun shortage is over; just some folks didn’t get the memo. I know you weren't at our local gun store they don't answer the phone. G&L has treated me right if they had what I wanted.
