  1. Here ya go... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/56680-faq-how-do-i-post-pictures-here/ And here... http://www.tngunowners.com/forums/topic/82480-stuck-re-photo-posting-directions/
  2. Screw Mexico. They stand by and watch as drugs and illegals cross or borders and then have the audacity to act appalled them we cross with guns. They will destroy our way of life and our economy. And the next time that pig of a President comes up here whining about guns; biatch slap him all the way back across the border.
  3. Everyone knows Federal law only allows you to buy three boxes of “bullets”. Obama passed it as an Executive Order. If you need to buy a five pack you will need two people. Do you not have any friends?
  4. Have you machined titanium before?
  5. The cost of suppressors is ridiculous because they are regulated by the government and a small segment of the population is willing to pay. The state of Tennessee has given us the green light to end this silliness, but the Feds have warned they will put us in jail. So until it’s tested; the ridiculous pricing will continue.
  6. I don’t want to be tried by 12 or carried by 6...yet. So I have adjusted accordingly; the former is all on me, the latter may not be.
  7. Life is full of choices. Could she be charged? Of course; she is a convicted felon in possession. Would she be? It’s doubtful the Police would arrest her and unlikely the DA would file charges if they did. Is being charged better than the alternative; of course but it may come at a price because of prior bad choices. However, unless her conviction was a felony involving the use or attempted use of force, violence, or a deadly weapon, or a felony drug offense; state law does not apply. Even then though 39-17-1322 is a defense to state charges if the incident is deemed justifiable.
  8. Constructive possession would be the issue. There have been court cases going both ways on the subject. The biggest factor I can think of is how and why it became an issue. The specifics of that could be the deciding factor. If I’m not mistaken Tennessee recently (last couple of years or so) passed legislation that a felon in possession is mandatory prison time??
  9. I don't have them mixed up. I am saying that I assume they have seen what has happened to "Mark Owen".
  10. I didn't see where the pentagon said it won't be aired; they just warned him. But I would guess him or his attorney is aware of this... http://www.mediabistro.com/tvnewser/navy-seal-under-criminal-investigation-following-60-minutes-interview_b244212
  11. Something is not right with that site. 800 rounds of Australian brass case 308 for $139??? http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/product991.html Then this South African at $1499.99 for 1260 rounds?? http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/product120.html How about 480 rounds of 308 for $69.95? http://www.the-armory.com/shopsite_sc/store/html/308-win-762x51mm-146gr-fmjbt-m80-ammo-can-480rds.html I’ll certainly keep my eye out for that 800 rounds of ADI at $139 to come back in stock.
  12. So is/was he a Seal?
  13. I don't know; it says he will reveal his identity. His picture will be everywhere.
  14. I feel sorry for him. You have to need money pretty bad to make yourself the kind of target he will be.
  15. Much to my surprise mine came back today. They had it for 4 weeks; much better than the 12 I was expecting. I shipped it on 9-24 They received it 9-29 They shipped it 10-24 I received it 10-29
  16. The CEO just went and met with the family of an employee of theirs that was executed while alone at their store doing his job. Now granted; it wasn’t him but I think when people are faced with the cold hard reality of an act of violence such as this, and not sitting in their comfy recliners; it tends to impact their views. We can only wait and see about their gun policy. But I appreciate what they did for the family of the victim. They have the shooter and due to the nature of the crime I’m sure he will either get the death penalty or spend the rest of his life in prison. But that won’t make anyone feel better. I would like to see them remove their employee ban on being armed and at least give them a little bit of a chance.
  17. Well now you have your work cut out for you. Miculek is my favorite shooter of all time. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jJ3XwizTqDw#t=29
  18. I own a .308 carbine; it’s my “go to” rifle. It’s the most versatile rifle I own. I don’t find it disorienting at all and can unload a 19 mound mag almost as a fast as my .223 and stay on target. Plus range isn’t an issue. The longest I have been able to shoot it is 300 yards, but I doubt it will have any problems much farther than that if needed. I have had a few people approach me at the range and want to know what I was shooting.
  19. I’m not comfortable with legally killing anyone. It’s one of the reasons I do not support the death penalty. If it is a “Red Herring” argument meant to mislead or distract why was it specifically put in the text of the amendment? Are we to believe that the government would not allow a Doctor to play God by choosing between the life of the mother or child, or stop a rape victim from having an abortion? They don’t get to do that right now, wanting the ability to do it is the only reason for that text to be there. If it comes down to those choices; the government is the last group in the world that I believe should be calling the shots. It should be between the family and medical professionals.

    Coin Toss

The only thing the North Koreans want to receive is money. They want paid to get out of the nuclear game and it will probably happen. Weapons are their business.
  21. I agree. It looks like she may have been the victim of a very bad family situation. Time will tell.
  22. .308 Winchester, but since you don’t have that as a choice I would go with .357mag. 7.62x39 would be my next choice, but I don’t buy foreign guns so I don’t have anything that would shoot it.

    M1 Carbine

Home defense doesn’t require optics. What kind of M1 do you have? Is it reliable, have you shot it much? Do you have ammo other than FMJ; does it feed okay with that ammo? I have an M1 carbine, but it’s more of a collector’s firearm. I use a couple of modern rifles as my “go to” long guns, but handguns are my first line of home defense.
  24. I think disciplining a child is fine (although I don’t think beating them with a belt is good parenting). I just think if the father is active in the kid’s life he should have gone over there and beat Kris Ford with a belt. If he’s not in the kid’s life; then the Mother should be taking care of the physical discipline. I’m sure the fact that they are high profile had something to do with it. But I don’t feel sorry for him because of that; he should have known that.
