  1. A Federal gun ban would create a new group of criminals overnight. I can’t believe that could get passed through Congress. Of course Hillary would do it if she could; so would Obama. Neither of them gives a damn about the United States Constitution or an individual’s right to self-defense, and couldn’t care less if they violate it.
  2. Why pick out Chicago? You don’t have to leave this state; compare it with Memphis. And Memphis doesn’t have gun bans, people are allowed to carry. I go to Chicago every chance I get; great city. But I got my HCP after a trip to Memphis. Nashville news 4 covers shootings about every night. The other night they had three.
  3. Sure, but they wouldn’t be asking someone to leave for any reason; they would be asking them to leave because they are carrying a gun. A Murfreesboro cop told me the way they generally handle it when they are called is they issue the person a trespass warning. Then if they return again carrying; they get arrested for trespassing. But it is illegal so another Officer or another department may handle it other ways. I think it’s been made clear time after time on this forum that the chances of being cited for carrying past a sign with an HCP is extremely low. Being given a warning and told to leave, or put the gun in the car is how it sounds as if it has been handled in most, if not all, the cases we have seen here.
  4. That definition matches perfectly a sword made into a cane. As always, whether or not you are arrested will depend on how and where the “weapon” became an issue, and what the Officer wants to do. Then it’s up to the DA if charges are filed or not.
  5. A cane; no. A cane that is a sword; yes. But it’s not an issue of needing a cane or certification and training. It’s an issue of “intent to go armed”, and the definition of a club (any instrument that is specially designed, made or adapted for the purpose of inflicting serious bodily injury or death by striking a person with the instrument).
  6. They have SKS rifles on gun broker for as low as $300. AIM has them in stock for $420. http://www.aimsurplus.com/product.aspx?item=F3SKSY5966&name=Yugoslavian+Model+59%2f66+7.62x39+SKS+Rifles&groupid=5402&fprdct=1
  7. Wow...okay.
  8. Window peeping is a crime. Flying a drone across your property isn’t; and if you intentionally damage the drone it’s a criminal act.
  9. Photography and video is a hobby of mine. That no more makes me a perv than carrying a gun makes me a psycho nut case. If you are stupid enough to shoot a drone flying through the neighborhood; make sure you keep bond money on you, and be prepared to lose your HCP.
  10. I ordered a Nano QX for $80 so I could learn to fly it before I bought a $500 quad and put my $400 GoPro on it… and crashed. But I can’t get the controller set-up right so I can even take off. So I’ll have to wait until I find a kid to set it up for me.
  11. SKS. Comparing apples and ballistic missiles.
  12. Ruger is marketing Polycase ammo now. http://www.ruger.com/micros/ammo/index.html?r=y http://www.polycaseammo.com/project/inceptor-arx It doesn’t appear to be another lame frangible. It is a copper/polymer mix and has no lead; that could be good. Of course it is $1 a round in 40 and .45. I wonder if this statement has been proven….
  13. You are in Tennessee; you pull a sword and you will get shot. Don't bring a knife (or sword) to a gun fight.
  14. A functioning 1903 won’t be cheap. Can you use Demilitarized Drill Rifles or non-functioning copies?
  15. Why are those worth more than these that are new and also Belgium made, polished blue? http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/product_info.php/products_id/31047/Browning+051004493+Hi-Power+Standard+13%2B1+9mm+4.625"
  16. Obama is going to sign a bill that allows 10,000 handguns a year to be moved from military arsenals to the streets? Well we won't have to worry about Hillary running; she will have a stroke.
  17. Does this help? http://www.calguns.net/caawid/flowchart.pdf
  18. Criminal impersonation requires intent; there is none here. I wouldn't think that was a cop car, and I don't think most others would either, especially when they read what it says on the side. The badge is an HCP badge; nothing illegal there (bad taste isn't illegal). I don't think of a lockout service as a "Security place", but she may be the owner, who knows. I would think a cop (on duty or off) would be the least to be confused with what we see here.
  19. I don’t know why people get so paranoid about drones. They are great recreational toys and used in legitimate business. Like guns, (or most anything else) they have the potential for abuse, but that needs to be dealt with when it happens. If someone destroys my property while I am using it lawfully, they will be arrested and prosecuted as fully as I can make happen.
  20. Why? She isn't doing anything illegal.
  21. Buds prices aren’t nearly as good as they use to be. I can usually find a dealer that will match them if they have the weapon. I usually order on-line when they don’t have what I want and tell me they can order it but have no idea when it will come in. I have bought guns from G&L that were at or less than Buds. Closer to you, I bought a 1911 from Nashville Armory at less than Buds price. It was during their Grand opening and that may be why; but you might check them out. More gun stores are opening; competition will bring prices down.
  22. It was a question. You posted that a signed release is all you need for legal reasons, as though it was fact. That doesn’t sound right to me but maybe it is in this state?
  23. I guess if you don’t have a plan for the economy; you try to get voters to take their eye off the ball with gun control. I just can’t understand how a blue collar worker can support a democrat. http://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/after-years-of-hesitation-democrats-rally-around-gun-control/ar-AAfsjrF?ocid=spartandhp
  24. So someone can waiver liability in Tennessee and you are good to go?
  25. There are no federal safety requirements for domestically produced firearms. However, there are states you couldn’t ship it to with a non-functioning safety. I wouldn’t sell a gun with a faulty safety. You don’t have to violating a law to lose in civil court.
