  1. It’s still up, both his and the stores.
  2. My favorite saying is “I wouldn’t walk across the street to get a Glock for free; if I had to keep it.”
  3. If our economy isn’t fixed the 2nd amendment won’t matter. I couldn’t possibly care any less what a Federal government candidate thinks about the 2nd amendment; that fight has been fought and will be left up to our state legislators. I care what they can do for the economy at the Federal level. So I certainly won’t be voting for any Democrats I’ve seen.
  4. Yeager makes his videos for shock value. And it works; I don’t know why anyone (other than kids) would pay him for training. Zero will have a lot of ammunition when he starts checking Yeager’s past experience. Should be interesting.
  5. Ordered some knives from Blade HQ today. This is the first time I have ordered from them. Are they pretty quick about shipping? Since they are in Utah and I got free shipping I figure it will take a week anyway??
  6. A lot of people will say it’s an ugly monstrosity just because it’s a Glock. But all kidding aside that truly is an ugly azz monstrosity.
  7. My wife works for a very large company and I have been on her insurance for years, as it is a better plan and costs less than where I work. After the first of the year those family members that have insurance available to them at another job can stay on the plan; but at a higher rate. Obama assured us Obama care would not impact those that already had insurance. He knew he was lying when he said it. So now those that don’t work get a lot better health care and those that do work get to pay a lot more.
  8. Violent crimes by armed criminals don’t happen because of guns. The only way to survive a home invasion or an armed robbery is to comply (and hope they don’t kill you) or kill your attacker. I cannot for the life of me figure out how these people think disarming law abiding citizens will help. Are they so ignorant that they think criminals won’t be able to get guns? Drugs have been illegal for many years and most offenses are felonies; obviously getting drugs is easy. And I wish they would quit calling it the “Gun Show Loophole”. They aren’t interested in controlling the sale of guns at gun shows; they want to stop private sales; period. The very people that want more in-depth background checks are the same people that are not willing to do what that would require; open medical records to the government. (more than they already are) I would suggest this Mayor go on some street patrols; of course that won’t happen without an entourage of security. But maybe she could sit in on or view some interviews where she could truly look evil in the eye. I doubt this woman has any idea what it’s like on the streets of her own city. I wonder if she has thought about the last thoughts of the victims in shootings were they know they are going to die, because the cops are minutes away and they are in a gun free zone.... I have. The only way to stop an active shooter is with another active shooter.
  9. Wow… tough crowd here.
  10. Wal-Mart could probably help create 250K new jobs if they would follow through with their Made in America” initiative. We shall see how it works out. http://www.businessinsider.com/r-walmart-suppliers-grapple-with-challenge-of-made-in-usa-labels-2015-7
  11. To who?     Isn't TDS AT&T U-verse? Why is their DVR better?
  12. Let us know how those things work out.
  13. I would call Bratton Brothers and say “Come out and fix this gate”. Maybe you have someone like that in Memphis.
  14. The have an area where you can submit problems to customer service. It’s called “Ask Tom K” (Tom Karinshak, Senior Vice President of Customer Experience). I used that and got a response. But they didn’t address the issue with the customer service azzhat. http://www.xfinity.com/Corporate/Customers/TomKCustCare.html I switched over to the X1 system and it has been an absolute time consuming nightmare. I have spent hours on the phone to correct mistakes in changes their techs have made. And every time you call you have to talk to someone in India that is clueless before you get to talk to someone here that can actually do anything. But because of government involvement they have no competition and they know it.
  15. It’s a shame when companies get so big they can no longer properly handle customer service problems. I asked to speak to a customer service persons supervisor at Comcast the other night and was told “I’m the only one you will be talking to tonight.”
  16. I have a lot of thoughts and I’d like to openly discuss them; but this isn’t the place for it. I have never asked a mod to lock a thread, but I would ask you to shut this down yourself; it can’t end well.
  17. I’m confused... a 9mm is more reliable than a .40 in a Glock? If you take/send your 23 down to Glock GA, won’t they make it right?
  18. Okay, I didn’t say what she was doing is right. You just seem to be caught up in the drama of a “he said, she said” situation and I don’t understand why. You said you thought she had fairly significant head injuries as a result of the beating and you were kind of assuming she wasn't lying about the beating taking place. From the one side of this story we are getting it seems she has problems. If you think the child is in danger; call the cops. That is all you can do, and they are very limited in what they can do unless there is some evidence of a crime (Stolen Valor not being it). They can get child and family services involved, or you can even call them. Then you have done all you can do.   What was the outcome of those charges? I ask that because being arrested for threatening to kill a cop is a pretty serious felony offense. It just sounds to me like maybe that is coming from someone that is embellishing things?
  19. Killed in KY. http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/police-search-kentucky-woods-after-dangerous-fugitive-reportedly-spotted-n454186
  20. I don’t think you will get a lot of momentum going from veterans or cops on a woman that is trying to support a kid and is a victim of domestic violence. But that’s just me...a veteran.
  21. Back in Tennessee and escapes another run in with the Police and shots fired. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-nation/wp/2015/10/29/manhunt-continues-for-fugitive-accused-of-shooting-at-police-officers-three-times-in-two-states/
  22. I don’t know this guy and have never been to his store, so this is not about him directly, but it seems when you own a gun store you can do and say pretty much anything you want, and change anything you want, and stay in business. The good news is that we are getting more and more FFL’s that actually have storefronts and good inventory. Competition should help the buyer.
  23. I got mine last week and I didn’t die. So I guess I’ll continue getting them.
  24. Wow...that Judge is an idiot. I doubt many people that decide to shoot down a drone in a residential neighborhood will get a Judge like that.
  25. So the tips melt on a Sierra Tipped MatchKing?
